Try shutting off location updates from Google, or turn location off in general. You can also use greenify to sleep Google services framework (xposed framework and donate version only iirc, how you get donate version is up to you). Those three methods I have tried myself on the same setup and it sleeps for me.

Install Wakelock Terminator (_https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.andro.wlt) and see the difference.
Greenify is also a great way to save battery.

My phone recently started using more battery than normal. I installed a couple apps over the weekend. I suspect it could be one of those. What app can I use from the market that will pinpoint this for me? Thank you.

try "CPU spy"
i use a widget called battery info. - lots of good info provided in this little widget
Tried CPU spy and it doesn't tell me much or maybe I am not using it properly. If a specific app was draining my battery, is there anything that will pinpoint this?

Hello, my battery started draining really fast recently, and in the usage statistics, it says 41% is due to cell standby, followed by 15% screen. Before the screen was the most draining factor. Anyone have an idea what's going on?

Check for any rouge apps you might have installed recently

Tunein Pro, Amazon and Beautiful widgets. I also got CS portable, but I make sure I kill everything after playing anything.
Thanks

Google maps uses your gps...and some data...in return it eats up battery pretty quick.

Definitely! Data drains battery so fast. Errrrrrr. I like using wifi than data
Go into location settings in maps and disable location reporting.

Try Backitude. Lets you specify the interval that location updates are done rather than the constant polling that Google maps does.

Hey guys
I noticed battery life is absolutely random with this device. Ive hit 6 hours of screen on time before and now, not doing really anything its almost halfed I'm on 25% at 3.2hours screen on time. Ridiculous -.- anyway. I checked to see if there were any wakelocks and there was
I also had a look at the battery settings and sensors were taking up battery, never seen them before in there?

Tap on it so we can get some more info.
There's not much info
Clicking play store brings nothing up
App info brings up barely anything and hitting open fails
