Is it possible to have onscreen buttons on the SGS3? Or at least remap the menu button with the recent apps button? Coming from the One X, I miss it :-\

Questions go in the Q&A thread please remember that in the future.
As for your question if you long press your Home button it will display your recent apps.
Mark.
Is there a mod that can open an app when the menu button is held down? I know some launchers use this but I want to be able to use it everywhere, not just in the launcher. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the menu button but I think there's something called home2home or something that let's you change what holding the home key does. I'm not sure though so I could be wrong

I just updated to AOKP JB 9.8, and I try to change key 107 search TO key 107 power just like before.
but it does not work any more.
How to fix? thank you
If your search key is used as your power key what are u using your power key for?

it's more convenient to use virtual key instead of side power key. I always use it before JB AOKP 9.8. But the function disappear when updated to JB AOKP 9.8

I just want to use the virtual key to lock screen quickly instead of lock screen app.

hi all...
I have found a very good app that is helping me a lot using the phone with big screen. PIE CONTROL. You can have quick lateral acces bar to home button, back, drop down notifications, and wahtever you want. At the distance of your finger... not 5 inches away...
Very helpfull and free. Ideal for note2.
perhaps u can include play store link??
also u might wanna try this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150 LMT launcher. pie style as well
You can try LMT Launcher too. It can be found within XDA.
Free.
And has more functions.

its a rip off from LMT launcher with a few tweaks. but hey what can you do.
I think it works a bit better than LMT though

Hi devilcatz,
How does the LMT launcher work on the N7105?

Yep, you just need to have root.

Pie control seems more polished and responsive than LMT. I have been using LMT before PA pie appeared on my Galaxy Nexus.

I got the app too and I'm really happy with it, the back button is ok but the menu button is too far away on this phone. I have it set up just for home, back and menu.
I have just one problem, though: the home and task switcher buttons perform the action instantly, whereas the back and menu buttons have a ~1sec delay between the button press and the action. I haven't seen any complaints about this on the web, is it just me or do others have this problem as well?
Seems faster for me.
For, lmt seems to take less ram (10 vs 40 in pie control). That's just for me. It also allows me to open from the bottom of the screen. This option was not available for pie (at least for the version I used)
