because this phone is powered by tegra and tegra stopped supporting our phone, if you had qualcom things would look better for a port
Well you can flash any KitKat ROM you want on the One X+ (like CM or ParanoidAndroid for example)
then flash the zip from this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696399
It doesn't have everything working , but at least blinkfeed is working ! Just give them some more time and they might port all apps who knows !

A dev is trying to port sense 6 using cm 11 for the Rezound. It's not posted on xda though . Maybe someone can try using cm ?

Why ?
I don't get it.Why using CM11 For Rezound and not from CM11 for HTC One X+ . I had blinkfeed launcher working fine on cm11..or is he just trying to port it for the rezound ?
I don't think someone would actually pay the effort to port Sense 6 To the OneX+ because Its community is small compared to other phones.
Plus , Sense 6 was already ported to the Nexus5. but its still in Alpha stage and its not safe for daily use. but still. thats progress !

He is trying to port sense 6 using cm11. He already ported sense 5 to the Rezound. Yes, the community for the one x+ is small because many settled for just the one x or the one xl. I saw the port for the nexus 5, I wish we had more devs for the one x+

Hi! I'am new to this android community and i think it's great! I just rooted my Desire X and i want a good ROM to go over that Sense ****. I have been searching around for ROMs for the DX but i could not find any! I really want Cyanogenmod, but could not find any support for the DX. I don't want to risk my phone, so i want a ROM that is so stable as possible.
Do anybody have anything good to recommend? A link is of course the best.

I'm not a fan of Sense either, but if you want AOSP, for now the best solution is to install Sense Revolution, and then AOSP Invertion mod. I will soon hopefully get ParanoidAndroid 2.99 to boot, so you'll have to wait. Also Yasir is trying to build CM9 from scratch.

Yes. We just need to wait for the Desire X to gain some recognition among the developers. And specification wise the Desire X is eligible for Jellybean update as per HTC's own statement which says devices released in 2012 and having RAM more than 512MB will be in the JB list.
Any idea when htc will release the update or somebody will port cyanogenmod 10? 1st quarter next yr?

like i said above we just need to wait a while before the desire x gains popularity. and htc will most likely release JB during 1st quarter 2013

It can be done but since the HTC one has a Qualcomm chipset it would be more challenging to port to this device

All joking aside and apologies for the thread, I think that the new sense 5 looks very promising.
It's about time that sense had a major overhall and freshen up (In my opinion) and I think that if HTC can avoid releasing the One with the usual glitchy software, things may well start to look up for them.
It's a beautiful looking device with a great looking interface.
Edit ...and no I won't be porting sense 5 to this device as, unfortunately I'm a complete idiot. : (
Probably won't run. The only reason HTC added the exta 1GB of RAM is to support Sense 5. :silly:

Although I have yet to see any features in sense 5 that would make me want it, I just like the hardware

It's definitely possible for unofficial support for MIUI to arrive for the one in a port but nothing can happen until CyanogenMod builds a solid base for things to run off of since they have the largest number of contributors working on everything AOSP Android. And everyone pulls bits and pieces from their code to be able to build stable ROMs.

Well actually it's very possible to have a Sense based build also, a couple HTC phones like the One XL, One S, etc already have some solid Sense base MIUI builds

I personally think a sensed based miui is for the best considering there is a huge difference between quality of camera in sense vs aosp. Plus people get boom sound. It really is a no compromise option and the base is (for all intents and purposes really solid).

Latest stock is 4.1.1, the guys have put together a cm10.1 and various other aosp type roms. It seems anything other than a stock rom causes some audio/speaker problems (low volume), something about the drivers until if/when HTC release 4.2.

Is xhdpi and 312 dpi density. Exactly as HTC one X.
Audio with stock kernel is better but i used 4.2.2 ( CM 10.1 ) without problem. the there are aosp version or CM from 4.1 to 4.2

You can forget about it ever happening, never, never, never.
Never buy Tegra phone again, and you will have tons of new ported stuff, i know i learned my lesson..
