Hi ,
I installed Omnirom for Samsung n7000. However it does not go to sleep. And the screen is always on. I have set to sleep if idle time is 15 seconds or more. I have tried to set keep alive of all the apps permission to off. However, Omni does not go to sleep? How to solve it?
Thanks.

For some reason I can't get my archos to stay asleep. after 8 seconds of sleep it wakes itself up, thus rendering itself useless as the batter dies in a matter of hours. any ideas? I've already factory reset with no effect, so it really can't be any software installed.
Do you have enabled deep sleep?
(Settings)
perhaps I was not clear it will not do any kind of sleep. no matter what I enable deep sleep disable deep sleep, what ever power setting I set the device automatically turns on after about 8 seconds. picture this, the device sitting on the desk the screen turns on, a minute passes the screen turns off, 8 seconds pass the screen turns on, repeat until battery is dead.
I don't have my Archos right now, but I would install adb on the PC, and do:
adb logcat
Then put device to sleep, wait for it to wake up, and try to figure out from the messages what app turned it back on.
You could also try looking in System Monitor at the Wake Locks tab, and see if there's anything scheduling wakeups.
(If it wasn't sleeping in the first place, I'd say check your USB host port & see if it died.)
Hey guys I'm using CM7 Alpha 2.
I notice that the wifi doesn't go to sleep 15min after the screen is off.
I checked the policy and it is set to Sleep "when screen is turned off"
There is no difference if I set to "Never while charging"
I even reinstalled the ROM from scratch and still the same problem.
Any suggestions?
it will probably get fixed sooner or later(this is a alpha thats before a beta )

Is yours not turning off(sleep) the WIFI off either?
I think with alpha 2 wifi is on all the time, regardless of the sleep setting. This was probably done to help with the SOD issue until they find a better solution.
as a temporal workaround, I used tasker to:
turn off the wifi 10 minutes after the screen is off.
while screen is off, wake up wifi every 30 min to check emails for 1 minute.
turn on wifi if i wake up the touchpad.
if the phone sleep by itself i can wake it up normal but if i make it sleep when try to wake it up the screen still off until remove battery and turn it on please help...
My phone is a Note 2 running LineageOS 14 and it displays the OS as Android 7.1.2.
Whenever the screen goes to sleep after some time the wifi gets disconnected, and this is pretty annoying particularly when the phone is tethered.
Is there some way of turning this behaviour off?
My display will not sleep and I have to manually switch off display. No matter which values I set at `settings -> display -> sleep` the display never sleeps. If I forgetfully leave the display on, it will stay that way till I attend to it.
I observed my device did not have this issue if I am using stock ROM.
It is a serious security, privacy and batter issue.
What is preventing my display from sleeping? What can I do?
I have found the issue. I installed a xposed module, HiddenCore. It is keeping the screen from sleeping. After I uninstalled it the display is going to sleep after the timeout.
