I have recently upgraded my above said phone to Gingerbread 2.3.6 OS. But now I am not able to root my phone by using Unlock Root software.

I had a network locked Samsung galaxy S3 GTI9300. Then I rooted it & Unlocked it.Now, if I want to use any custom ROM can I do it? or phone will get locked if I do it? Inform me about it.
