I want to delete this completely so I can install this patch again proper so that it would properly. Do I need to run the process of putting back the ts on stock mode?

I've tried installing TigerArcade (mame emulator) for my phone, but it's not available with my carrier/country.
So I downloaded it from an off-market site and tried installing with Root Explorer, only to get a parsing error. I had a similar error when manually installing apps with another installer in the past...
I don't like the annoying SDK/command prompt method of installing apps and I was hoping that someone could help me?
Are there any reputable installer apps that actually work? Can I somehow get the app I want to install somehow "signed" in order to install it?
Their is a patch update for Muffle-System-Logging but the update fails. If you try to uninstall the patch it fails as well. Anyone have a workaround? Thanks!
open settings tap go to device info. on the top left open the menu and start a new app. type ##logs#. a new window appears. set it to minimal logging. that is what the patch does. when you do it manually you dont need the patch anymore.
btw: the patch fails for me too.
I found a solution over at Pre Central.
Step 1. Write down all your current patches that you have installed.
Step 2. Download Emergency Patch Recovery (Runs automatically, removes all patches, restarts device)
Step 3. Re-install all written down patches, including muffle system logging.
EPR removes all your patches, even the stuck muffle system logging. Then just re-install all your old patches. Muffle system logging installs without a problem this time.
You dont need to write down what you have installed chap
If you go to Preware and click "Saved Package List" from the drop down at the top, you will see a list of what is installed.
Run the Emergency Patch recovery tool which will remove ALL of your patches
Return to Preware and go to the Saved Package List again and you will see the patches are not installed, click "Install" at the bottom and preware will install anythign that is not installed in theor latest versions

I just had this problem last night too! I wasn't sure what caused it so I reinstalled the stock kernel, reinstalled Preware, also tried removing the patch but that still failed. What finally worked was after reinstalling Preware through webOS Quick Install, I also used that to update all of my patches while the Touchpad was connected to my PC. I got the same error, but apparently webOS Quick Install had a way to soldier through it. Now when I check on my TP, everything appears up to date.
hi everybody,
I it my first new thread, I hope I post it at the right place....
I started my dicover of the android word with a Samsung Xcover x5690, android 2.3.6.
Nice phone, unfortunately containt plenty a syst soft, some in Germain, so unusable for me. So many softs that the phone run extremely low. So many that /system partition was full and I had to remove a apk during a recovery reboot first to be able to root my phone.
I installed root uninstaller. I delete other germain apk, I succefully transfered some apk from phone to sdcard, but even after that I still get some out of memories.
I decide to force to move google maps, gmail and youtube to sdcard. Impossible to perform directly, I remove those syst apk with root uninstaller, then I re-install them from market.
That worked fine for maps and gmail, that are not syst apk anymore.
BUT... I cannot install youtube, each time I get the error message that I cannot install in the default directory.
Does someone have an idea how I could re-install it ?
Thanks.

Hi,
I think I broke my apk installer...sort of.
Since a few days I can't install any apks that are from Google Play, so I think the whole installer for external apps is broken.
Ok, I use Lucky Patcher and I think it has broken it, but only to use the pro features of Titanium and Poweramp...they don't want to recognize their keys from PlayStore for some reason or recheck them and won't find them even after reinstallation of both, app and key. I already tried it with XInstaller and with formating /system and reinstalling the OS via TWRP (running latest PA 5 legacy alpha for LG G2, but there seem to be no such issue known) but both have not helped. I only can install apps by coppying the apk manually to /data/app or /system/priv-app and restart the device. I also made a logcat log while trying to install LMT Launcher so I hope this can help to identify the problem.
If anybody knows a solution, please help, installing apps and updates the manual way is quite annoying.
EDIT: It looks like the Package Manager is trying to install apps on a non existing SD-Card. There is no possibility for an SD-Card on my G2 (only on Korean models) without USB-OTG but the ROM has the buttons in App Overview to move Apps to an SD-Card, so I think the installer tries the same. Is there a way to find out the path where it wants to install apps and Link this (with XPosed) to the real installation folder?
I installed the official nougat xposed and after that I am. Not able to install updates, new apps, apks. Nothing. It gives me an 504 error. I know it from a long time ago when playstore starts tripping just clean data an cache. But here nothing works. I can't reinstall playstore when I uninstall it (duh). Either way when I remove xposed everything works fine. Anyone having the same problems?
Similar ((LG k20)).
Yes, absolutely
This is my issue, too - spent all day trying to work a fix.
Nougat 88.1, long bootup finally works, but eventually corrupts everything!
No app installable, and ((-504)) which is DIFFERENT than the 504 mentioned, it is with a dash before. Something about UID file change.. but no avail?
Someone suggested they simply disable Xposed, reboot - then install apps, to reboot & re-enable Xposed again.. but!
I have no idea what to do. Using SuperSU.
I would try Magisk, but I can't do that now.
What shall we do? Seems a standard 88 issue?
No problems here. Are you guys sure you installed the correct file? Sdk24/arm64?
yeah man everything is properly installed. i have no idea what is triggering the error.
I'm getting the same error on my LG G4. I rooted with Magisk, so the problem isn't the root tool.
The only way to install apps is to unistall xposed framework
