If you really want it iOS like, MIUI would be the way to go. It's a pretty good ROM, I used it all the time on my SGS1 and SGS2; but I have no interest in it now, but it's definitely a good ROM. I'd check your device specific development threads for a MIUI ROM, and see what other users like (if there's more than one MIUI for your device).

I have a Kindle Fire and a Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate, my phone is rooted and my Kindle Fire is running ICS 4.0 and rooted (of course). I have seen people run Android on the iPhone 2g and 3g and wanted to do the same. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I agree, MIUI is a good ROM.
Meanwhile, on android forums, straight up answer and even a nice explanation
Since iOS users can dual boot Android, I too thought maybe the opposite might be possible. Pretty reasonable for the average lamen.
Funny how you guys 'troll' noobs because they don't use the search function, yet as a result the search generate troll threads XD
I am also interested to know about dual boot ios and android.

Unfortunately that may be as close as we get for now. I remember someone saying in another thread that there isn't even a MIUI for the Nexus 4 yet...
Pecked by the AOKP/CM/PA unicorn
I've been thinking about giving it a shot. Use to port it for other phones in the past. The Nexus 4 Miui should be released at the end of the month so that might make it easier.

I like miui too. But the theme engine in chaos is second to none.

Miui is custom rom just like cyanogen mod serving many handsets...
I guess MiUI represents to Minimalistic User Interface ROM
Actually just like Cyanogen Mod Roms , MiUi roms are also quite famous and have variety of handset support...
Google Miui Rom for more info.
I'm trying to port miui but so far only boot loops and now test phone is acting up still have a few zips to test

Hi, I have a HTC One S. I can't complain about the phone but there aren't a lot official ROMs for this cellphone. On the new website of aokp isn't any ROM for the one s anymore, cyanogenmod has only cm10 stable and some 10.1 nightly and there is screen tearing, too. Or for example Ubuntu touch isn't avaible. Or a super nexus ROM. Or miui 5.
So my question is what is a good supported but also powerful smartphone?
Only Nexus devices get the most development support. Get a Nexus 4...
Sell it and equip yourselves with a nexus you won't start a thread like this again - for nexus something new pops up everyday
OK and any other devices? Maybe for people who are reading this thread and dont like nexus?
Sent from my One S using xda app-developers app
If you don't like nexus don't worry you will also able to use latest android resources.
But you need to search in google that how to make a own custom rom

The Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note II all have great developer support, the US market versions of these phones have even better developer support but the International versions are great too. The Xperia Z is another phone with great developer support as well. All of these devices have official Cyanogenmod support, and AOKP support (Except for the Galaxy S4 which at this moment doesn't have official AOKP) support.

Thank's but I'm a bit worried to make it myself. If it would be that simple why aren't there more roms ?

Its not simple but these days there are tutorials on compiling/debugging that makes life easier for newbies wanting to take first steps into aosp development
Bro making a rom is hard for us but not impossible.
You just need to learn how to port rom's from another device and how to modify your stock kernel to work properly in your custom rom.
Don't forget that the nexus/cm rom makers are also a human like us.
Try to search in Google.com

With stock rom speeds being quite decent, with root you can remove bloat and with Xposed, you can add most of the features that custom roms give you.
One has to ask, what are you looking for in a custom rom?
Well I would have to say speed, user friendly, better battery life and also I want to still be able to use the stylus. But everybody is right, I'll just be patient.

I know that not everybody agrees with this, but I'm looking forward to the variety of non-Touchwiz ROMs like AOKP, SlimBean, MIUI, PAC-Man, etc.
I think one thing that hasn't helped is the large amount of "flagship" phones being released so close together. A lot more diversity happens when theres only one new kid on the block.
I'm looking for a while for a New Custom-Rom for htc Desire X. I use now mySensedx(thanks to cpkv5). Which one's are you using? Someone a gpod idea ?

I also recommend ViMiRo ROM
It is fully functional!
After 14 days of operation, maximum satisfaction.
Just installed app No-frills, for better control CPU frequency.
Currently there are no errors, bugs or restarts.
Battery life 2-3 days.
