Can anyone help me unbrick my phone? I can't seem to get anywhere with steps to create debrick.img file that works with my device. I rooted my device and some went wrong at a restart and now all I get is a black screen. I can't get anywhere with recovery. I have tried odin to flash stock rom without any success getting device to accept any downloads.

Hello! So after some research in the forum, and seeing that it can be "easy" to root your phone, even with a locked bootloader, I decided to look into doing this with my Verizon Galaxy Note II to get familiar with custom ROMs. I had been running on 4.1.2
Please redirect me to relevant forum information for DIY or feel free to contribute any help below. Also, feel free to shame me for not finding it myself, as I couldn't find it myself.
I used "NoYouVerizon-GalaxyNote2-Casual R515" to root my phone and about 5-10 seconds through the installation it errored out and showed "Disconnected". It stated that I needed the relevant drivers from Adam Outlet which I accepted to download, but I did not re-recognize my phone afterwards while in the download screen. But, since it error, I get the incompatible firmware yellow triangle of frustration. I can't seem to use any software such as Odin, most likely because my bootloader is still locked?, so I'm going to ask you experts for help while I research a way to get it out of this mode.
Edit: Also, I have the issue where Odin states "Can't open the serial(COM) port" which causes a failure. Attempted to flash root66_VZW_Stock_etc
Edit2: Was a Samsung Kies issue. Uninstalled and able to start root66 on Odin. Processing now
Edit3: Was able to wipe/reboot in recovery mode to get back to stock. Now I'm curious of why Casual had the error. Any suggestions from the error file uploaded?
Edit 4: I have my phone back up and working with root access. Though I'm unsure how I have root access without doing much to unlock the bootloader from verizon, I guess this works. Any commentary welcome.
Any help would sincerely, 100% be appreciated!
pls i know everyone is busy but i got this little problem.I was trying to install twrp recovery alongside cwm recovery(stupid) and i got my device bricked but i could still get into the download mode.after some trying i tried to flash it with stock rom with odin but i ended up making it unable to boot into download mode.it keeps saying firmware upgrade encountered an issue pls select recovery from kies and try again.when i connect i to my computer it connects then dissconnects. please thANKS IN ADVANCE for :good:your help.
A few people on here were successful debricking their device with this thread.

Everyone who sends their device to http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-note/ has been very happy and mentions it takes about a week.
And you can always send it back to Samsung.
I have a SCH-I925 10.1 Note that I bought for a very good price for the purpose of learning from it. The device has been soft bricked due to a root attempt gone bad. I want to try and get this up and running.
What I have done so far:
1: Allow device to completely drain it's battery. Attempt boot into recovery. Fail
2: Disconnect battery for the same purpose as above. Fail
3: Attempt to recover via kies. Device sits on 'connecting' and then quits after a while
4: Download firmware (I925VRAMK1_I925VZWAMK1_VZW) from Sammobile and attempt to flash via odin. File passes MD5 check and then nand write fails. tried a few different versions of odin all with the same result.
5: uninstall-reinstall drivers no change in results
6: Searched the hell out of the web and found plenty of people with this issue but have not seen any definitive way to fix this issue.
The root attempt was done by the PO and I have no info on what was attempted.
Thanks in advance for your help
edit: spoke with PO and was told that an attempt to load CWM and then 5.1 is what caused this issue
Mods would you move this to the correct area. I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 SCH-I925.
I have mistakenly posted in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 forum.
Thanks
Hello to all,
This is copy of HELP post i added on --[GT-I930x/T/N][SHV-E210*][SHW-M440S] CF-Auto-Root--. It appears that forum is not active anymore. HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME SOLVE MY MINOR PROBLEM:
Dear Doctor,
I really wanted this [THE ROOT] to work on the first go, but as i learned in kindergarten: A noob stays a noob. At least for a while.
In ODIN, after I did EVERYTHING Master Chinfire said to do, I hit "Start", but the proccess stops and says "Succeed 0/ Failed 1".
So i couldn't finish with the download
+
I can't figure how to attach a screen shot of th error for you.
Please help,
TNX
P.S.
I have tried to ro read different posts on the subject but never found a problem similer to mine. The only solution people offered was to download SuperSU directly through the phone. But in order to do that, i need to open a google account, which is one of the reasons i wish to root the phone on the first place.
What is the phone's model number? Boot into download mode to find it.

Can someone share a link to stock firmware. Cant seem to find it anywhere.
Did you check sammobile.com?
Can anyone assist me or point me in the direction of downloading a working firmware off of a SM-J320A Samsung Galaxy Express Prime and copy it to the same model of phone which cannot get past download mode since I tried to downgrade in Odin. It seems I have have soft bricked my phone using Odin and a bad ROM, so many out there. My son has the same exact phone and his is functioning properly. How could I copy his ROM and then download it to my phone, please advise. I am currently able to use adb and create a backup file from my son's phone which is the exact same model. ADB restore does not see the phone that can only boot to Download mode, shows Odin mode in red up top, but I don't know how to create a backup to use in Odin and cannot seem to find the information anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction, the directions I have found I cannot get to work and do not have Linux handy? Odin also does not have a "PDA" button
Thanks in advance,
Jim
