why any developers not build rom with stock base for l9?
all roms is with aopk base
plz developers build rom with stock base
with
lg g2 features
lg g pro 2 feature and all kitkat features
tnx all developers

custom rom
there are two custom roms avaliable..one is ICS, and the other one is MIUI rom..both are good.i am using MIUI rom v10...and its great.
I can help u wid the MIUI rom.

Hmm.... I ported some roms to my device[based cm10, Take thacy,(KM-S220)], but I don't know how to port stock roms. I heard that porting stock rom is different from porting cm10 based custom roms.
Anyone can teach me how to port stockroms?
I include my phone's specifications
It updated ICS last year. Amd it's ICS kernel source was opened recently.

.pac rom porting
hello xda please need help to port an spd chipset that is a .pac stock rom which is slow and heavy xhich occupies 3gb of space and android version is still 5 so i will like to upgrade it to a newer android version by porting it with any good custom rom so i dont know how to start with .pac roms since all tutorials do not include .pac file extensions so thankyou for your kind compreheension hoping to have a positive answer from you guys
Can I port an Android 2.3.6 Stock-based ROM to AOSP 2.3.7? Or even CM? Just I haven't ported ROMs from one Android version to another before... Please answer))))

First of all , wrong section.
Questions belong to Q&A's section.
Now AFAIK, You can't port that.
For porting both i.e. android version of base rom as well as the rom which you are porting should be the same.
If base rom is 2.3.6 then the rom which you are porting should also be of version 2.3.6

I want to flash a custom LP (5.1.1) ROM for my dad's phone, in spite of the official update being available.
He uses the phone extensively as a daily driver for calls, texting, browsing, etc.
I am totally new to these forums as I am not using this device, hence I was looking for suggestions for the MOST STABLE custom 5.1.1 ROM for the phone.
Model: XT1022 (Dual SIM) India
Please help me out here, I don't need the links I can search it myself. Just tell me the ROM name and build number or date.

Tesla ROM reviews are good. Do some research before flashing. And of course don't forget to back up your current rom

NO tesla please. Try stock (but it's not snappy) or CM12.1.
