Hi Cyprus 2242239, you could try this via terminal or adb
Code:
busybox echo 1 > /data/.recovery_mode
reboot
Cheers. Good luck.
Edited: you could try with ROM Toolbox (Reboot Bootstrap script in scripter section)

Did you install BusyBox? If so, was it installed to /system/xbin? If BusyBox is not installed to /system/xbin the 2nd-init recovery will not work. Also, there is no key combination to boot in to the 2nd-init recovery. Power off your device. Turn it back on. If the 2nd-init recovery is installed correctly, your hardware key lights will flash while the LG logo is showing on the screen. Press the volume down button to enter in to recovery.
Also, multiple copies of BusyBox will cause issues. Use the BusyBix installer to uninstall all copies of BusyBox and then reinstall BusyBox to /system/xbin.
I would also add that after your first boot into recovery that you immediately before doing anything else is to make a nandroid backup.
This step is very important because, as shinobisoft said.. BusyBox can cause problems.
BusyBox can cause another problem that after you boot out of recovery and back into android OS, you will get the "Encrypting Phone - Reset" error and all you have to do to recover the phone is to power it off and reboot into recovery and restore your nandroid backup.
If you don't get the error then your fine.
Its working now, after reboot leds keep blinkin, vol- boots into recovery, thanks for help guys.

I think you're in the wrong forum, are you using a My Touch 4G or a Vibrant?
Also, are you sure your recovery is messed up? Have you tried going into recovery via the key method? CWM keys follow:
MT4G: Vol Down + Pwr
Vibrant [Froyo Boot-loaders]: Vol Up & Down + Pwr
Vibrant [GB Boot-loaders]: Vol Down + Pwr
Also, try using adb:
Code:
adb shell reboot recovery
Or terminal emulator:
Code:
reboot recovery
Basicly I tried everything to get into recovery or flash / imstall a new one. Nothing worked so far..
My device is rooted and I can install all apps which need root acces.
I now installed Flashify and when I click on "Recovery image" or "Boot image" it says "Partition not found".
And since I cannot boot into recovery I cant install anything via zip files...
Would be nice if someone could help me.
Best Regards

use another method to boot into recovery
like ADB commands
Code:
adb reboot recovery
:good:
If your bootloader is locked, simply use [NUT]'s dual recovery.
If your bootloader is unlocked, install any 4.4.4 based kernel what has recovery built into it. I'm using AndroPlus as I'm running a 4.4.4 ROM as my main ROM.
Well there are severel apps which makes your device boot into recovery. None worked and I think the use the same method?

I'm assuming you are using [NUT]'s dual recovery? Did you install busybox before running the recovery installer? If not, install it, then run the recovery installer again. You will see the green LED when the device is showing the SONY logo before the waves bootlogo.

Well sadly I cannot install BusyBox... Also I am not able to update SuperSU.. And I dont know why -.-
My Phone's Touchscreen Stopped Working, so for (nandroid) backup reasons I'd like to go into CWM Recovery as TWRP is not able to use Volume and Power buttons for navigation and from what i understood CWM can.
XZDualRecovery installed, but I cannot access NDRUtils to change default recovery as my touchscreen died.
Can I, eg. via ADB, change my primary recovery, so Vol+Down on boot (on Xperia Z3C) will give me CWM Recovery?
thanks and regards Eddict

Dont be afraid
Just install flashify app form the market. Download twrp.img and flash it whit flashify app.
Dont recovery from any app.
Just power off completely your phone, then hold vol- and power until you see xperia sony logo, just realease power and keep holding vol down it wil boot up twrp
I had this problem the other day. I had TWRP 2.8.7 installed, then flashed 3.0.2 successfully according to fastboot, but when booting into recovery it kept going to 2.8.7. Try flashing the latest non-rooted stock ROM with Flashtool and Xperifirm, and then follow the instructions in post #3 above. That solved the issue for me.

If you see the words Xperia & Sony in the boot splash (using the PWR + Vol-, then Vol- after vibrate), then your bootloader is not unlocked. And TWRP 3.0-2-0 installs into the recovery partition, which will only be booted into by an unlocked bootloader.
An unlocked bootloader only displays 'SONY' in the boot splash when booting to recovery.

Is your device rooted? If yes, download any "Reboot app that needs Root", press the reboot to recovery and it should work. If it doesnt boot to recovery, it means the recovery was not installed properly.
Can try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=phongit.quickreboot&hl=en
Alternatively, install this app and it can allow you to select which recovery to install. If you have your recovery installed, it will be detected.

Thanks for your answer!
The device is not rooted and it is not planed to do it in the original rom because I want to backup the original rom from recovery without any changes.
Do you know how i can check if the recovery was flashed properly?

I was under the impression that the Z2 Tab doesn't support reboot to recovery and instead you wait until the LED turns green on power-up and then you hold Vol-Down until it turns purple. The device will then boot to recovery.
At least, my rooted SGP511 won't reboot into recovery via any of the usual apps, but above works every time.
