I am using Themer on a MotoX and I would like to be able to turn off screen swiping. The theme I'm using (Dark Orange), uses 5 screens for it's theme. All of the screens can be accessed by buttons on the home screen and I would like to turn off swiping to the other screens and only be able to use the buttons. Is this possible? Thanks.

Hi,
We are working on this feature, however it's not easy to do and might take some time. Sorry about that!

Hey all. I always wondered why Archos didn't make a lockscreen (like most android phones have). I always liked to have some widgets and info on my old iPhone lockscreen so I could see basic info without having to unlock the device.
Has anyone come across a way to add a lockscreen to Gen8 devices? An option to turn on/off the lockscreen would be a nice addition by Archos.
I had used this basic method to lock my screen.
Settings --> Location & security --> Change screen lock
You can use Pattern or PIN to unlock screen.
If you need Slide to unlock, you can search "Unlock Screen" for apps in market.
jakkrith's method is great. or you could purchase widget locker from the Market:

Force Closes on A70S.
I think what Techngro means is a lockscreen which also shows some useful information like calendar, todo list, etc..without a need to unlock it.

I installed widgetlocker, but I got a problem now.
When I try to put out my screen (by pressing the power button)
The screen will turn black, as it has to, but then the slide bar will return.
I have to push the power button again to let the screen stay black.
Is there a setting I set wrong? Or is there a way to let the screen turn black and stay out at once? (until I push a button ofc)

Some folks have reported sleep issues with widget locker. you should check out the thread on XDA for possible solutions. i believe there is setting in WL to prevent it from coming back on:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732986
I looked there, but couldn't really find it in the 680 comments.
Used the search function, but I don't think I use the right words..
Can you tell me where to look, or what words to look for?

Yes, that is what I was thinking about. I'll take a look at widget locker though.
Are there any ways to install another lockscreen but not by using apps (making them native, I don't like the way it works in widgetlocker app). I have root, CWM and so on
To be honest I want puzzle lockscreen like it was in Vibrant.

But unfortunately this is still an app superimposed to the original home screen or lock screen (which sometimes appears...)
Also the notification bar remains visible!
Original lock screen can't be actually replaced, but only hidden.

That's why I dont like those apps.
And why are there tons of lock screen in Vibrant Roms/i9000/Captivate and difficulties with i9100? What is the principal difference?

Besides home button unlocks the screen. Even with enabled and disabled notification bar.

+1 on that!! I hate the lockscreen so much, I'm using AntiLock to disable it. Apps like WidgetLocker or RippleLock are no proper alternatives because they either unlock with the home key, or have 5 seconds limitation, show the Samsung lockscreen underneath and such.
Just like you, I wonder what's taking devs so long to come up with alternatives. Why is it more challenging on this phone than others?
Guys,
I'm using WidgetLocker and enabled the Root Helper option, and also disabled the default Lock Screen. (In Advanced menu) and also checked Disallow WL suspend.
With these setting the defualt screenlock is only displayed for 1-2 sec when I restart the phone. but that's all.
Previously I also encountered the problem that I had to unlock the WL and then the stock one but now only WL is running.
I don't like lock screen in widgetlocker and in gingerbread itself. I like puzzle one or the one from ripple lock, but it doesnt work properly
Hi! I love the look of several of the themes with this program, as well as the functionality. However, I can't seem to see any setting to change your primary screen (the screen that comes up when you wake your phone... you know, the slide-lock screen, etc.). Do the themes come with such screens? I would like for the wake up screen to look like my main desktop screen. Thanks!

Hi,
Lock-screen integration will arrive in the future!
Hey, I've just been wondering if anyone knew what happened to the old TV Style Lock effect. I've noticed that I haven't been seeing it for a few months now, it's just the fade out effect now.
Anyone know of a way to get that effect back? The apps in the play store only do the effect after doing some sort of gesture, pressing the power button still uses the default fade effect. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Screen on and off. Create an invisible widget and press it to lock the screen. Comes with many animations to chose from.

I'm looking for this too

I want this sort of app too - not one where you need to have to use a widget. I remember having this effect back on my S3 - flashed a zip using twrp and it replaced my animations with the old TV style effect. Also had that TV static + old TV style effect for shutdown animation.

I've had this one sitting around.. It's off the forums but I can't remember where.. Try the theme and mod section for the galaxy s8 plus
So what does the download above me do?
Yeah I installed it cause I thought it was the CRT lock screen. Did I just download a nuclear bomb? How do I use it?

using stock miui 10.2.2, I saw that in the full screen gestures option. the back to home screen animation is just as iOS or emui. the window will shrink and back to home screen to its icon position.
but my version is, it only show the animation as fade to home screen 。
is that because I set wrong ? or 10.2.2doesnt have this animation?

You're probably using third party home launcher such as nova launcher
That's how it works on ordinary Xiaomi phones but not the Pocophone that has its own launcher.

It worked on previous MIUI versions.
It's now back. Try latest beta and see.
