[Troubleshooting] A-GPS data doesn't download - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an Acer liquid mini that doesn't download A-Gps files, so it needs a lot of time to Fix
I tried a lot of gps.conf files and many apps (like faster fix ) but every time i try to download A-gps data it doesn't work. I tried with GPS status & toolbox too and re-flashed ROM and wiped the phone but doesn't work yet.
Anyone could help me please? ^_^

If you are rooted, just install a nice 2.2 rom. It might fix your GPS problem.

[Q] No Internet Connection in Google Apps after restoring

Today I tried the CM9 ICS ROM from this thread on my galaxy tab 10.1. Before installing it, I did a backup in CWM. I then tried out ICS and reverted back to my old honeycomb after a few hours (basically because of the missing camera and no youtube HD).
Problem is, now all my google apps seem to have no internet connection even though I'm connected (Browser works, Twitter aswell). I'm guessing that all the apps that were in that ICS build have no connection now that I reverted back to the old version. This makes my tablet basically useless and I haven't been able to fix this on my own.
I tried to delete /cache aswell as the dalvik cache in CWM. Deleting all user data didn't help either. Reinstalling the apps is not possible because the market can't connect either (I deleted all market updates and pulled the apk from the internets, still no connection)
I have DroidWall installed and tried to reset the settings there, no luck. Even disabling it completely didn't help.
I'd be grateful for any help concerning this.
You could try flashing a gapps package: http://goo-inside.me/gapps.
Thanks, but I just wiped the whole thing and did a factory reset. That did the trick.

[Q] Error 495

Hi guys that subject was mentioned a lot of time here, but there isn't a proper responde to that so I have Htc Sensation with AR HD 6.8.0,when i am trying to download some apps from google play it is downloading after few minuter i have error 495 I did everythink what was told about that her clear chache clear data even reinstal my rom it isnt working anybody have any idea what is that?I tried to download via wi fi also via pc please help me?
Same problem here [error 495]
After I installed CM10 on my hd2, I'm having this problem.. Cant update or even download from store but browsing seems fine.. all the other downloading are also perfect.. Any solution other than clearing cache or data or uninstalling updates would be helpful.. Coz I've done all the usual steps. Please help..
I have had this issue for a long time now. I just used to decide that I'll wait till i get home and download over WiFi (which worked).
But that's not a solution!!!
On my JellyBean One X:
1. Go to Settings
2. In Wireless and Networks, tap on More
3. Select Usage
4. Tap on Menu in top-right corner and make sure Restrict background data is not ticked
5. Also, uncheck Limit mobile data usage (a message appears saying that all background data restrictions will be disabled).
It is the background data restriction that causes this issue (atleast for me).
I had done the whole shabang:
Clear google play cache, data, etc. re-login with Google account, reboot, etc. which didn't help.
This seems to have worked for me!
Hope it helps!

Hi i have installed:

To active gps i go to setting-->geolocation and i siwtch button geolocation right?I have do wipe cache and dalvik but the problem remain What i can do?I don't want again reflash this rom because i have already install all app and date.......What can i do to solve my problem without reflash rom again?

Mtk6582m Landvo L200 nvram issue?

Ok, frustrating issue, reflashed a from to increase the storage capacity but got a bit messed up. Ended up having to use the format option on SP Tools to flash, then reflashed image using edited EBR files to increase the storage. Phone booted again and storage was increased but noticed IMEI was gone so restored that via Engineer tools, mobile working ok.
Then tried GPS, no fix, standard mtk issue I thought so tried to download EPO files etc. but then noticed no option in location settings anymore for EPO on 4.4.2 from. Fine, tried to go to EPO settings in engineer tools but no option to turn on EPO and download EPO button greyed out! If I look at sats via GPS test app it reports it can see satellites but doesn't attempt to fix, left for a couple of hours but still no fix at all.
Tried loads of things, deleting mtkgps files etc. Tried new GPS.conf files, but still no joy.
So I'm thinking it could be an issue from formatting device using SP flash tools. I notice I get the nvram error message in my list of wireless devices even tho I can hook up to my WiFi OK so something is a bit wrong there. Also tried reflashing rom using just the download option on SP flash tools but didn't fix the GPS, it did stuff up the IMEI again which I had to redo which I didn't think a standard download from SP Tools should do? Which again makes me think something is a bit off with the nvram or something else?
So long post but does anyone have any suggestions to try and get the GPS back up and running? I'm pretty well clued up on flashing ROMs on mtk chipset devices, but certainly not dev standard knowledge so hoping someone clever can help me out? Been through loads of the standard mtk GPS fix solutions so looking for some expert advice now?
BTW the rom I'm flashing is a stock Landvo L200 4.4.2 from needrom, I just modified the EBR files to increase storage although tried without doing that but still running in to the GPS problem.
Any suggestions?
