[Q] Requesting infos on i9300 for future hacking!!

Hi to everyone!
I am new here but I have been on the i9000 forums for the last year and more.
My actual i9000 is quite hacked and I am going to get a i9300 with my phone provider next week.
I would like to understand just a few things to know if I'll be in some quite similar situation of hacking or if the i9300 is in some how different from i9000.
My questions are:
What are the differences between the two forums Galaxy S III Android Development and Galaxy S III Original Android Development ???
How do I go into Download and Recovery mode?
About ROOTING the i9300... Is there some website or Windows app and does that or must I flash something like a new kernel or what?
Is there a way to get some sound improvement for better sound and more volume as it was for i9000 with the Voodoo hack?
Is it possible to flash only a new kernel that gives root privileges, sound improvements and some other cool things? I ask this because I really don't know if I'll go for a complete ROM flashbecause I am a little bit tired in complete hackings
As the phone not bought by my self but related to a phone contract I need to be able to revert back to stock rom/kernel if the phone needs to go back to shop for something, so please tell me where to get stock firmwares and if I need some particular Windows app or know some particular procedure on how to flash.
I hope to have answers from you becuase I really need to understand what is having a i9300 not hacked alot coming from a i9000 that was really hack alot.

[Q] [ASKING] Korean Samsung Galaxy S III SHV-E210K USSD Code Running Problem

Hello everyone!
I'm from Indonesia. I have this SHV-E210K for about 3 months, and it is stressful knowing that I can't check the balance credit. I have search in any forum, and whether it's in XDA or any forum, it's still don't have the answer.
I have read that in S1 I9000 you can just disabling mobile tracker and USSD code will work again. But in this time, it's different matter. I can't use the method from I9000..
There is known problem in my Galaxy S III SHV-E210K with JB 4.1.2 or before at ICS that USSD code won't work. I faced this problem for many days and was unable to use some GSM services like balance checking etc. Normally in other phone, I can check it with just dial *123#, now since I using SHV-E210K the code won't work, so I must change my USIM to other phone to registering the data package or check my phone balance etc.
Please some one help me! I really need this answer! :crying:
*my Samsung Galaxy SIII SHV-E210K never being rooted, it's still official from the first time until now.
please some on help me :crying:
You will get no help by breaking the rules .
Questions = Q&A
Post once do not bump
Use search
You look ask in the Samsung Galaxy SIII SHV-E210K thread .
USD codes are a network or sim card problem usually .

Hallo Senoir Member.. I know there is thread about SHV-E210K, but not the page like T-mobile or any SIII with its carrier, so looking the answer from the member from SHV-E210 forum is too hard. :'(
Thread SHV-E210 is too silent, not like the others which is always crowded, link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710084
ok I will move it to the Q&A

Missing (lost) night mode in scene mode on galaxy s3

So as you can see I am missing night mode in scene mode on my gs3 lte i9305.
I used to have it (even after I rooted phone, for few weeks), and then for no reason it suddenly dissapeared.
I tried everything, formating and reinstalling firmware, but it didn't help.
What should I do to get it back?
Could you recomend me any decent camera mods (galaxy s4 camera mod for s3 for instance)?
This is the wrong forum its not I9305 .
You give no information for anyone to help.

I'm the one who need help, and I'm asking if anyone had experienced it or can help me to fix the issue.
As I can see the, it is in right forum. (I9305 is with I9300)
I9305 is different hardware you may of course get a reply on here or not . I have pointed out that you are not in the I9305 forum where logic says you may get more help for a problem on your I9305 .
As i said not enough information posted to help .

[Q] Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i Flashing

I am new to unlocking and flashing ROMs on Mobiles. I did my research and when I was ready I unlocked my phon and then I flashed the firmware. I used Odin 3.07 and loaded the stock firmware file into the PDA section and hit start, waited and it passed. My Firmware was:
PDA:L12 / PHONE:L12 / CSC:LE1(O2I) and when I flashed the firmware( S5830iXXMD1_S5830iBTUMD1_S5830iXXMD1_HOME.tar.md5) it ended up as:
PDA:MD1 / PHONE:L12 / CSC:MD1(O2I).
As you can see it did not alter the PHONE part of the installed firmware and the O2I I thought would have changed to BTU. The phone was however unbranded. Later I flashed it with a newer stock firmware and a similar thing happened, the PHONE part was not changed only the PDA and CSC.
Is this normal or am I missing something. Should I be using a different version of Odin to flash the 3 individual parts of the FW I got using Cygwin/splitfus2 or can I stll use ver 3.07 to apply the 3 individual parts.

Not really, you could have answered the question in the time it took you to post that but then maybe you don't know the answer.

You do know that Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 and Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i have different hardware. Hence the different device thread. I could suggest you an answer for sure. But I will not be liable if that solution bricks your phone. Are you up for it? And you could have posted this question in the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i Q/A section by the time you replied to my answer. Then again maybe you don't understand my answer.

[Q] Samsung GT-I9300 lost IMEI

hi everyone,
I know this question and many people have asked the same question, but I've tried every route going to recover MY official IMEI number instead of a generic 0049 number.
I've tried rooting my phone, run CWM, downgraded my firmware everything but for the life of me I just cannot get it work, my question is:::
can I or is there a possibility that my PIT file might be fouled up as well as my EFS file?
my second query is.....
is it at all possible just to entirely wipe my phone clean of everything, partition as well and start all over a fresh flash?
My Samsung galaxy s3 GT-I9300 is international as I live in the Netherlands, my current firmware for my phone is: 4.3 jellybean.
I've used Odin3,Kies3 and to be fair nothing is working, so I hope that there is alternative and that is it possible as I've tired every other street to fix it, to format my phone completely of everything and start again.
thank you in advance and I hope someone can help me
