Install Instructions:
1. Download ROM
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Please backup your ROM before you begin!
4. You need a full wipe* if coming from another ROM.
5. Flash the ROM
6. Flash 4.4 Gapps
7. Reboot
8. Let it sit a while.
*NOTE: You are more than welcome to dirty-flash (i.e. only wipe cache/dalvik cache) between each of our nightly builds. However, there are times when we push certain changes/updates that WILL cause errors (force closes, etc.) if you choose to dirty-wipe. In such cases, please DO NOT report bugs in this thread until/unless you have done a full wipe (/data and /system) and tried again. If there is any indication of a dirty-flash in your bug report, it will probably be ignored. See my signature for additional information.

Dynamic F-Sync
This is a goodie by faux123, so all credits go to him for creating this unique feature !
Many kernels just disable synchronous writes to file to speed up system. While this works neatly, it is also dangerous as processes believe that file writes are actually synced to disk (or mmc media in our case) while this is not yet true ! The gain is a noticeably smoother user experience, but the risk of doing so is to have a corrupted filesystem if the device crashes, user pulls battery, battery fully depletes ... so that the device is turned off unexpectedly. To allow for the benefit, but to minimize the risk, faux123 created dynamic fsync, which while the screen is on, will defer file sync temporarily, but when screen gets turned off, a flush is called to synchronize all outstanding writes keeping your data safe.

All media output to speaker issues are now resolved...new build in the oven it will be labeled 5/7 instead of 5/6, when it finishes building.
Haven't used speaker too much in call since call audio was just fixed yesterday, so any feedback on that by users is welcome.
This is a stable beta, so there may be minor issues and/or things that neither I or the testers have run into yet.
Although most issues had been detected in testing and fixed prior to release.
Not getting any sound from anything .. No ringtone no notification no YouTube .. Nada
Edit: whoops sorry didn't see you post above .. Ignore this

So when you play a song via speakers will it sound as loud and as clear as sense? Can anyone confirm?

Thanks for the reply man. They probably would be louder, but is the quality okay still?
I am loving this rom. Everything I love about AOSP. I have not tested call quality or sound as of yet because I'm at work. Data speeds are great. Wifi hasn't dropped out yet. I love the features!! Will reply back soon after I test the sound and camera.
CPA & Deadman & LiquidSmooth...
I LOVE YOU MAN!:good::good::good:
Hey am I missing Profiles somewhere? Is it not in this rom?
The WiFi drops are happening on aokp as well so just a heads up I personally run both the Roms fine without WiFi drops at all

WOW, LTE Signal is 100% 1st time ever at office.
What did you all do to my LTE? For the past year, I have bounced between H+ and LTE with no more than 1-2 bars at anytime with my S3, S4 and M8 (all the way through this morning at 0900)...I have been at full bars, LTE since LS booted...WOW, THANK YOU AGIAN!

@deadman96385 It may be a rhetorical question but I can expect all CM10.2 bugs(mic and bluetooth issues) or some things may work better here
@deadman96385 .. stupid question.. but are you developing in the dark or do you have a DNA on hand to help out with issues?? I only ask because there are some CM 10.2 bugs that are annoying, and the more dev's with the device the better for our AOSP world.. I love me some Liquid though, I used it on my ... Gosh, I think the Incredible 2 ... Thanks!!

Information
These are the monthly releases of CM with some modifications and touch ups that will be listed below, They are meant for users who want a stable ROM without the need to flash nightly releases and risking a Nandroid, anyone who has enjoyed the stability of my Google Edition ROM should give this a go
all builds have their core features tested (Camera, bluetooth, bluetooth audio, tethering, USB audio, Data, Voice calls etc), I also adb debug each release and look for any redflags, I then set up the phone and daily drive it with a few of my testers and once I deem the release stable it will be posted here.
Note: The CM camera works but it's not the best, SnapCam HDR (Paid app) from the market is much more stable and has a ton more features (these developers only focus on the 4.4 open source camera and making it better), I highly suggest doing what I do and removing the stock Camera and Gallery and using this awesome app which also includes a gallery with more features, myself and ktoonsez swear by it. The stock files are found in system/app.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features
-CM Stable branch based
-Updated and debloated gapps
- No rom branding - I don't flash my name around in the settings menu anywhere, keeping it stock AOSP.
-Stock CM kernel
-Nova launcher
-Improved CM Auto brightness values (Stock is way to Dim)
-Android L boot animation
-adb shell fixes
-Ext SD permissions added in platform
-Zip aligned
-No extra bloat
-Settings menu revamped and more organized
-Teleservice event notification options removed as they are not working
-Tested by an established developer and solid testers before release goes live to the public
-Enjoy!!

-ADB shell fixed, script manager will now work on CM 11 M9
-Removed Proximity Wake feature from m9 as it does not work
-edited another string in settings>security
-not much else, last build as I think this is way more stable then any other CM build out there.
*dirty flash if coming from previous release is fine, just wipe caches first, no need to flash gapps unless full wiping*
08/05/2014 stable 2
-Added Media_RW permissions to the permissions platform to add support for many third party apps (CM has yet to address this)
-CM OTA disabled
-Removed Calendar, grab it from the market so you can get updates via google
-Edited a few strings in English US and English GB

06/01/2014
I was VERY happy with how 5/31/2014 ran on my phone but noticed a few commits merged last night that were authored by bossman Cyanogen himself, so here is your changelog. I feel like the foundations of this ROM are set now which I knew would take a few builds
so if all goes well with this, I will start bi-weekly releases because I'm extremely sick of full wiping/testing/compiling, I just wanna use my phone as a phone!!
stagefright: yield callbackDispatcher to writer only for video
libstagefright: Fix to handle EAGAIN error on first read to source
audio: mute duration at the beginning of recording
Bluetooth: Fix for device gets stuck in pairing
Bluetooth: turn on lcd during Connection
camera: Disable extra HDR frame on QCOM_HARDWARE - HDR fix for third party apps
appops: Fix WIFI_SCAN AppOp permission index
nxp: Include support declaration for Mifare tags
Everything but the app ops commit was merged into the stable branch of CM 11, these were necessary changed to warrant an update
Enjoy!
05/31/2014
Settings: Allow access for external apps to launch ThemeSettings Fragment directly
Mms: Clear notifications and mark messages read in certain situations
Calculator updated with many new features

Revert "Remove smiley support"
Revert "idmap: Don't log spam "CREATING STRING CACHE"
idmap: reduce CREATING STRING CACHE verbosity
Merged latest cLock widget
Added Stock MMS back in the build as it's theme friendly
Made number picker dialog in MMS and Contacts a neutral gray so no theme will make the txt invisible
Option to show missed notification count in Interface>Statusbar now works for Email/Gmail
Included Apollo in the build to play nice with lockscreen targets, feel free to remove yourself
Removed open music app on headset connect, does not work on most music apps including poweramp
Updated kernel, Init binary in the ramdisk is now the latest from CM
05/30/2014
Settings: Disable Battery status preference on ModLock.
Fix wallpapers not applying in full screen
Alarm: Show a warning toast when alarm volume is set to silent
CM11 Themes: Don't kill setup wizards
Correct string for left-handed mode (Camera + settings)
Menu button fixed for webkit apps (TiBU, GO SMS etc)
Added equalizer quick panel toggle
Burst mode removed from Camera until it's fixed upstream
default alarm tone set
Kernel updated to the latest
more that I'm probably forgetting but this is the important stuff
05/27/2014
SystemUI: Make wifi combo margin themable
wm: Underp menu key release processing (doesn't effect Titanium so don't ask, thats a TB bug)
Fix circle battery opaqueness for the low battery color
Reduce memory leaks by removing all views.
CMAccount: fix setup wizard crash
Themes: Add read/write permissions - 2 commits
Fix broken tags
Remove Status bar notification count checkbox preference <--- main reason for this update, I don't like broken toggles in my settings menus, no idea why CM just leaves them in there, it's rather annoying when there is ZERO java controlling them
every other commit is super minor but we are fully synced up to date with CM
05/26/2014
A2DP: Stop spamming log with buffer size
Make KeyguardMultiUserAvater fully themable
CMAccount: Remove "or" between account buttons

Very nice, gonna give this a flash.
If I could make a suggestion, maybe offer a F2FS modded download too? Since it's using Kt's kernel it supports F2FS. Also a link to his TWRP modded version as well. if you decide to do this.
Nice! Deffinitly gonna try this!

Having a lot of problems with the back button not working in apps. This happened occasionally in official CM11 but it's happening a ton more on this build.

No issues here man. I support all 4 variants of the s4 and its my first time hearing of this. I'll keep an eye out but I'm quite sure there's no issue

It connects fine. Any cm rom I've ever ran has trouble with network extender. It always shows roaming. At least yours, the lockscreen does say
Network extender. I have to allow data roaming to get everything to work, without the pesky roaming message all the time.
I'll like this so far, I'm going to run it for the next couple of days to see what happens...

Flash immediately after flashing ROM.
Will be testing this out today. One of my big beefs with CM on this phone is bluetooth streaming. It works, but works suckily (that needs to be a real English word, lol). Drops, buzzes, etc. Dan's GE ROM works great, obviously because of the up to date proprietary drivers. I've tried bumping the minimum clock speed, etc. to no avail. But I am forever the optimist and will try this out later today because Dan and KT are teh awesomeness.
UPDATE IN THE OP
Everything but the app ops commit was merged into the stable branch of CM 11, these were necessary changes to warrant an update
Enjoy!
6/1 running great so far. Snapchat front facing video doesn't work properly but most likely a problem on the app side

Why Liquid Smooth?
Liquid Smooth offers RRO(Resource Runtime Overlay) which is a great new addition.
On our Z Ultra forum we did not have a single rom(as of what i know) which had RRO. So here it is.
MultiRom Support ? || Kexec patched ??
Yes it is

Nope but I would love to have an OCing kernel for sure
Regarding sound...I did have problems with the built in Viper settings and my music app...so....I installed the TestLolliViPER_v2.3.3.0.zip and also installed the app to make kernel permissive just in case (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux&hl=en) and that completely fixed it for me at least for the music players I use (player pro and google). The stock music app that came with the Rom now just opens and closes without error but I dont mind that since I use my own.
And best thing is BT bug is GONE!
I wish I didnt have to go to 285 dpi to get the nav icons but its not a big deal for now.
Thanks for an excellent ROM!
The overlay manager crashes for me, then again maybe its got something to do with my density?!? On every ROM I set it to 245 even stock

Change to 240 DPI. I am on the ROM now and it works great with that setting. 245 is a bit non-standard AFAIK so that could be the reason why it crashes.
Battery Life....
Any body have any feedback on battery life for this rom? I have been running it for 2 days so far. At 9am I was at %100 and by 5pm I was at %43 with light use

its enough to set selinux permissons to permissive.
but be aware that this is a potential security risk!
tested and worked.
you can check by opening viper und go to "driver" or something like that. its set to "no" even if you installed driver but after changing selinux permission it says "yes"
im writing this out of my head so it might be a labeled differently.
didnt have any bt problems on my custom compiled build with my sbh50

CM runs great, codeworkx and genesixx did a GREAT job with the bringup. I'm currently based on the cm kernel and device trees as you can see from the source links and checking omni's github, but I will be rebasing the kernel from scratch like I said above and implementing a few awesome things like cpuquiet (kernel thermal, no moar userspace thermal!)
CM working good i only compare with stock so i said bad , also thanks for CM maintainers. I look your source, I dont know why but I think OMNI response time better than CM, Thanks again for your hard work

Notification LED works fine for me? What issue are you having?
Kirisakura-Kernel for HTC U12+
Hello everyone,
Kirisakura kernel is designed to bring a handful of beneficial features to the device, while ensuring excellent performance and smoothness to get you safely through the day!
This includes upstreaming to latest linux stable for enhanced security and stability. As well as bringing in important new CAF patches, as soon as CAF releases the sources for the SD 845!
Revisiting the stock EAS implementation for further efficiency enhancements is also on my current roadmap for future development. I´m sure there is potential!
To have a read about our scheduler, which is called EAS, take a look here:
https://developer.arm.com/open-source/energy-aware-scheduling
Main Features:
- Based on latest kernel sources from HTC for the HTC U12+ (2.45)
- Upstreamed to latest 4.9.246
- CAF-Upstream merged
- Pixel 3/XL EAS ported over
- Cleanslate features from @tbalden included! (big thanks to him!)
CPU related features:
- Dynamic schedtune boost from @joshous
- CPU Input boost from @Sultanxda
- Disclaimer: please take a look at post 2 on how to set them up!
- Power saving workingqueues enabled by default (toogleable in EXKM)
have a read here: https://lwn.net/Articles/731052/
this complements EAS in general
- DDR bandwidth boost from @Sultanxda
Graphic related features:
- KCAL to control the display
- Adreno Boost
- Enabled NAP power saving state of Adreno 630
Network related features:
- Wireguard Support
Misc Features:
IO-Schedulers:
- cfq
- bfq
- maple
- deadline
- noop
- tripndroid
- fiops
- zen
TCP Congestion Algorithms:
- advanced algorithms enabled
- includes new bbr and sociopath tcps
Wakelock Blocker:
- advanced wakelock blocker with the ability to block any wakelocks (dangerous, use with caution)
- common wakelocks that are safe to be blocked are blocked by default
Feature section for the "non visible" but perceptible improvements:
- mark certain IRQ and kthreads as performance critical
- updated schedutil governor
- updated binder section (responsible for interprocess communication)
- updated sdcardfs (have a read about it here: https://www.xda-developers.com/divi...les-fuse-replacement-will-reduce-io-overhead/ )
- Speculative Page Faults (1. 2)
- Memory allocation overflow protection (kernel hardening feature)
- proc gate vulnerability fixed
Requirements
- unlocked Bootloader
- USB-Debugging in developer options enabled
- latest adb and fastboot binaries
- working adb and fastboot environment
How to flash the Kernel:
1. Download the kernel.zip to your device
2. Reboot to TWRP
3. Flash the kernel.zip in TWRP
4. The kernel zip will detect if you´re rooted and keep root in that case!
5. Reboot and Profit
IMPORTANT NOTICES
1. After rooting, the option to enable face unlock from htc may be greyed out.
How to fix:
a. Open Magisk Manager
b. Open the side menu and tap on magisk hide
c. Tick faceunlock to be hidden

How to set up the kernel
as with release 4.1.1 it’s advised to change no boost settings at all! It’s all flash and forget
This is a short guide on how to set up the kernel. This is currently required because TWRP is not yet ready and therefore I have no ak2 zip to set that all up.
The following is deprecated as with 0.5 Release!
Basically I decided to disable pnpmgr. This is htc’s daemon for controlling the CPU boosts.
I integrated a few other boosts to the kernel that work way better to replace HTC´s mechanism.
The phone is more smooth and more efficient now.
This is not a requirement at all. It´s entirely optional in case you aren´t satisfied with the current state of things!
1. With a root explorer go to /system/vendor/etc and rename pnp.xml to pnp.xml.bak
That will disable pnpmgr on the next reboot.
2. In EXKM navigate to CPU -> Boost Settings
3. Set the values like on the attached screenshot! and toogle the arrows to set it on reboot
4. cpu input boost currently has no interface in EXKM. The predefined values are fine. But if you navigate to Tools -> User Settings, you can call any file and change the values exactly to your liking.
Just hit the + and add the following paths:
sys/module/cpu_input_boost/parameters/input_boost_freq_lp boost freq of the little cluster
sys/module/cpu_input_boost/parameters/input_boost_freq_hp boost freq of the big cluster
sys/module/cpu_input_boost/parameters/input_boost_duration boost freq duration
5. Reboot and profit
The following is advised as with the Release of 0.5!
1. If you previously renamed pnp.xml found in /system/vendor/etc, to pnp.xml.bak, rename it back to pnp.xml!
Now reboot!
2. Here is a screenshot of the optional boost settings I´m currently running. These are a bit more aggressive than stock, provide more smoothness but cost a tiny bit of battery. In the end I still achieve way better battery results on 0.5 than on 0.2 even with additional boosts enabled. That is due to the energy saving commits I mentioned in the changelog of 0.5.
Here is the screenshot!

You can control kcal with exkm app.
But you can just control srg, saturation, contrast etc.
With Kcal nothing can be done about the brightness. Sorry for that!
I forgot to add Wireguard as a supported feature. I corrected this in the OP.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the brightest on this phone. Slightly dimmer than U11. Currently have auto brightness off and set just under half way. In the sun it visible at 3/4 brightness.

Did you turn off auto brightness and tried full manual brightness? For me it is absolutely fine, even with auto
