The led is too bright in my bedroom at night, so I wish I could disable it while device is on charge.
Settings, display, notification light. Off.

Yes, not a very elegant solution though
Turn it face down?

I've found a very good solution
I use the app Charging LED and define all batery levels colour as pure red (#ffff0000). When the phone is on charge and screen off, the led will become red and not bright at all (it's the only colour that is not bright).

Is there any app which turn on the light buttons if i have call or message notification? and thanks!
Yes. Backlight notifications (BLN) Can be activated on siyah or dorimanx kernel via exTweaks. For this you'd need to be rooted and be on either one of the above two kernels.. uses the LEDs of the two capacitive buttons like the notification LED on the nexus phones.

No, it's works when screen is off. Can use it for email sms WhatsApp missed calls etc. Very customisable too.

Yeah, but when noled app is active with a notification, screen led stays open....so it consumes more battery than touch keys i think.....

Not really. If you really knew what your phone is capable of... The LED "bulbs" which your screen is made of are turned on only if there are any colors to display.this means that when you have a wallpaper, half white half black, only the bulbs where the white color is will be turned on. The bulbs on the area of the black screen stay off and that means that having no LED indeed is more battery saving than turning on the backlights.

Not exactly. NoLED is actually a known battery sucker even on an amoled since the phone is awake all the while the notifications are on. The advantage though, as someone mentioned is its customizability.
BLN on the latest siyah can be used without wakelocks (BLNWW option in exTweaks) but you don't get the blinking/ breathing option if you activate BLNWW. On standard BLN (with wake locks) you can have breathing or blinking LED options. Also can set it so that it deactivates itself if the battery goes below a set threshold..which is why I'm assuming it didn't work for the OP.

Do they work if you use the test button. Look at the charging options too. I apologise if the "easy tick box" comments offended you.

My phone reads out emails loud when s-pen is near the screen! What should I do to turn this feature off?
the only time I've heard mine read anything outloud, other than caller id, which is an app I have setup, was when I inadvertently turned driving mode on-check for that in your toggles

Hmm. I read of people having trouble with hovering over the screen with the s-pen and it acting like it was already touching the screen. They said hitting it against something hard fixed the issue. Try that? Lol!

This is the only thread I can find about this, so I'll revive it here.
I have car mode off
All Accessibility features off (except for my Pebble notifications), in the Talkback Accessibility, I unchecked everything (just in case) even though it's off.
Under Text-to-speech output, if I choose the 'very slow' speech rate, I can confirm that the emails are IN FACT spoken more slowly.
How do I stop this text-to-speech from happening? I can't find a visual impair setting anywhere.
Edit: I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT.
Even having Pebble on Accessibility notifications (for some reason) enables TTS features, no matter what you disable. This has been realized for other Accessibility options in Touchwiz before, so for anyone having this issue, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36228563&postcount=9
Hopefully it's fixed in future software updates!

I just started using NoLed and as far as I can tell, it works really well. You can turn the brightness of the led notification down all the way and still see it pretty well. It'll save your battery. Also, an awesome setting: when your phone is in your pocket or face down, the notification won't turn on until you uncover the phone's sensor(take phone out of pocket). That right there is my selling point.
Hope that helps

Did you get it to work? NoLed isn't perfect. I noticed that if you get a text or call, the notification will pop up, but only once. It disappears if you wake your phone. Mess with the settings more, there are a lot of options. Make it so the notification pops up only when your phone is out of your pocket.

Is there anything better than NOLED . I just hate it when it lights up my room at night. Guess we are stuck.
If only these manufacturers left some of the basic stuff unchanged like the physical home button, notification and charging led and the navigation button placement order. There should be a standard for this kind of things from Google.
Google helped me translate.
I was wondering if there is a remedy to fix a problem I have.
When I turn the screen is not completely turned off when there is no light and you can see that the screen is turned on and so the battery is drained

I saw that in the evening when it was completely dark, I saw light coming out of the screen being suspended (a very low tone)
I set both Always-On and Turn-Wrist-to-switch-On options off.
But when I turn the wrist the screen goes on despite the Turn-Wrist option is definitly off.
What is blocking this setting?

You need to switch it off on the app and the watch
In which app?
I looked into Zenwatch Manager and Google Wear, I found nothing.
