Here we go, finally something I can leave the stock Rom for. Currently running this flawlessy on my n5, guessing stability won't be an issue here. Good to see slimkat goodness for this awesome device. Is slim kernel included yet or still using stock?

Hello SlimKat.
Oh my god how are all of these amazing roms coming out all at once.
Literally this is the one I have been waiting for since the very beginning.
Minimalism at its finest.
Can not wait to flash!
Does this currently have the problems that other aosp/cm roms do? Crackling speakers, WiFi mishaps, and odd sound glitches?

The wifi problems that are in the other AOSP roms seem to be present in Slim also.
huge fan of Slim here, Thank You for getting it on to the M8!!! i have not yet veered away from sense and have a possibly stupid question: do we get all our fun dual camera features on aosp roms and the sense tv app or do we have to sacrifice for the greatness that is SlimKat? thanks in advance for an answer :fingers-crossed:
All these asop roms are coming out because of cm is the base so most bugs the cm rom has all asop roms will have until fixed. But we are on a role. Great work

These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The github for the local manifest for use with CyanogenMod's JellyBean manifest is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

Do you have to be s-off in order for this to flash correctly ?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
90% certain you do not HAVE to be S-OFF. If you are able to get S-OFF you should do it, but when flashing ROMs and radios you don't have to be S-off, dev unlock is acceptable.
Interesting. Do you have any more information about this ROM? For instance, what it is you add on top of CM10 options, maybe in the form of screenshots?
Thanks though! I'll check it out

The gapps do, but I don't believe this would matter, as CFXP does not have a phablet UI mode to utilize the P.A gapps ability.
CFXP is designed to be as close to the stock AOSP experience as possible at the moment.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
WTF! Why is this rom so fast! I was mindblown! I changed the animations to 0.5 like I always do and I was amazed! you may say that its because of the animations that gave the impression that this rom is fast but no! there is absolutely no loading time! It shows up in an instant. Wow. Using the stock kernel because I cannot flash any other kernel because it gets stuck st the bootscreen. But wow. I have tried almost all the roms here and the speed blows them all. I like featurepacked roms but I was intrigued by this and tried it for my flashing needs. I did not expect this speed at all. Great job synergye and teamEOS! I am hoping I can flash other kernels in the future though! Thank you!
Hell yeah ! I was waiting for this since soo looong
And a Rom devlopped by Synergy and maintained by Roach can only be awesome !
Waited for this since SR15. This will sure be a good day! Thanks a lot to all devs involved
Did anyone of you successfully flash other kernels? all I want is to change the colors. The rom is perfect for me.

Helicopter is the maintainer for Evervolv which is built from source. He used unofficial in the title but that doesn't make the ROM any less built from source.

BTW considering the mess in Nexus forum and in many others, I don't understand why xda maintain the distinction between development ( means stock based wherever stock is) and original development (aosp/non stock based).

Developers need to build and match the camera from scratch on the M9.
The reason: We don't have GPE M9 to pull the camera blobs from there and easily merge it.
