Hello I want to work for s-off my phone in order to pass his rum
I want an easy and uncomplicated, because I tyro:silly:
If you want to do things the easy and uncomplicated way, then why are you trying to S-Off? There aren't many things that you would NEED to be S-Off for. I've found that those that are looking for the easy way are much more inclined to cut a corner, brick their phone, and then wonder why it happened.
Also, how would we be able to tell you what to do if we don't know what software you have on your phone or the carrier? Stuff like that makes all the difference in figuring out how to modify your phone safely.
Thank you for your response Now there is no way to do s-off? Does this method work?

I don't care enough to put that in Google Translator (that's your job) but I know for sure that htcdev.com does not give you S-Off, but will give you what you should need : Ability to install custom roms, mods, themes, etc. Just know that while htcdev unlocked that you will have to flash the kernel separately whenever you install a custom rom.
Thank you Does that mean if I worked Unlocking pass rum without the work of s-off?

I'm just going to guess that you are asking if you can install a rom without S-off? If so, yes you can. I'm guessing English isn't your first language. If that is the case, it might be a good idea to get a friend or family member who is fluent to help you read the guides and translate as they can even be confusing for the new people who do know English well.
Thank you I do not understand English well were used only translation Well, if how to pass the rum without the work of S-OFF, I try to piece this afternoon and wrong Error 131 : Customer ID Error

Are you trying to install an RUU (Rom Update Utlility)? You don't need S-Off, but you do need the correct one for your region / carrier. Basically you have the wrong file for your phone.
Yes I try to install the RUU and show me an error message Error 131 : Customer ID Error .
Read this:
http://droider.eu/2013/10/28/using-...to-get-more-information-about-your-htc-phone/
Use the fastboot getvar all command to get the exact info on your phone. With this knowledge, you will be able to determine which RUU you need.
adb and fastboot tools can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
adb works in recovery and in the OS. fastboot works in the bootloader screen. Open CMD prompt on your computer and change directories to the minimal adb and fastboot folder or use the shortcut if it creates one on your desktop then run the getvar command and post the results.

it's unlock code to unlock bootloader for your HTC Android phone.
After unlock bootloader, you can root your HTC phone.
And after that you can install any custom rom you want.
And do many many amazing things.
I tried this but got error 170
Error Code: 170.
Error Reason: CID Not Allowed.
You havn't by any chance had it repaired have you? cause if the motherboard is changed you cant unlock it.
Perhaps this will help me, I just got a new 3vo yesterday and the damn site wont send the email.

As long as you provide the correct cid for your phone it should. word of caution it doesnt like spaces so make sure there are no spaces before or after any of the text.
crimsy wrote an excellent guide to unlock root and soff your phone check it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1813818 :good:

You have to use your OWN unlock code. the one i posted was only for Shponglized.
Its very easy to get your own token but sometimes htcdev doesnt send the code to an email or you may be experiencing problems with the site. In that case post your Identifier token here so that someone else can generate the unlock code for you.
Hi everyone, i 'm going to be concise. I own an HTC onex+ international version (it should be no brand) and i would like to unroot it and reset to factory for a warranty issue. I'm extremely noob so i would like, if it's possibile, the fastest, easyest and safest way to do so.
On internet i found several guides about it as http://onexroot.com/one-x-unroot/how-to-unroot-rooted-htc-one-x/ or http://theunlockr.com/2012/12/28/how-to-unroot-the-htc-one-x-2/ BUT i found also an xda tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1870652&nocache=1 that sounds appropriate to me; i read on other forum that i need some kind of extra instrument like boot.img
There are some things to take note of. The boot.img and HBoot image flashing requires users to get their own files as those are device specific and aren’t included

actually i have no idea where get it and how use it. I would be very gratefull if some of you could explain to me step by step how to do the unroot.
ps. i just rooted and put inside the cmw under the instruction of friend of mine but i don't really understand how i did it.
thank you in advance.
relock bootloader and install RUU and you are back on Stock
but would you be back on stock for a warranty issue, you didn't must do that.
warranty has nothing to do with your firmware or root or bootloader unlock.
they would be erase all at your phone and flash the RUU

thank you for your reply but the problem is that actually i don't know how to relock booloader and what RUU is; that's why i was lokking for a step by step guide. I may follow and understand a little the guide of before but i'm not safe that it works with htc onec+ too.

if you dont touch the bootloader it says: LOCKED
if you unlocked bootloader it says: UNLOCKED
if you relocked bootloader it says: RELOCKED
we can never go back to LOCKED (RELOCKED is technical the same like LOCKED, but it shows as RELOCKED) all people can see that the bootloader was touched by the user
so it cant the reason for that
to relock:
boot into bootloader
and execute this command in fastboot:
fastboot oem lock
now you can install your latest RUU (RUU is the Stock Firmware from HTC as *.exe to install from Windows [depends on your CID])
hi i need help. so here is what happened. i have a sprint htc one max. i unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone. flashed a custom rom on it and had it flashed to page plus and no problems with the phone. when i saw that it could be unlocked. i tried the steps to relock my bootloader and then things when wrong. i relocked my bootloader but now i am stuck in bootloader mode and cant enter recovery. i have been reading in the forums but nothing seems to be a clear solution to me. i tried to install the RUU from sprint and it wont load. i get ERROR 133 (if i am not mistaken) and when i try to find the phone on adb it wont show up. so now i am hoping someone can guide me or show me what i need to do. if not i guess i have a new fancy paper weight hahaha. thanks guys appreciate it.

Does bootloader mode work? If so, you can use the ruu zip on an sd card to fix your phone. You can follow the instructions in my vzw ruu thread for option to. Just make sure you use the Sprint zip instead of mine.

Hello,
I am sure this has been posted before and I apologize but I need help.
I have an AT&T branded unlocked HTC One M8 that I am using with T-Mobile.
I am able to get everything except for MMS I have been looking at different forums and posts and all over Google trying to figure out the best and easiest way to get MMS working. I unlocked the bootloader, rooted and s-off I have also changed the CID to T-Mobile however I can't seem to change the MID as I get the "device not found" error in the cmd prompt. I also read I can just flash the T-MO RUU but in trying that the RUU downloads on my computer but nothing else.
I am a newbie so I don't want to brick my phone trying to flash different things where I really don't know what I am doing. lol
Can someone please point me in the right direction with updated information on what I can do? I have tried different apns as well for T-mobile and nothing is working. I have also tried different 3rd party sms apps and still no MMS.
Thank you for any help you can give.

OK so cid is done in fastboot and mid is adb so did you have usb debugging on,and was attempting to change your mid the first time you used adb with your htc?
S-OFF offers it's advantages with flashing ruu in the external sdcard "0P6BIMG.zip" method

Hi,
Yes USB debugging is on and I followed all steps to a Tee from the post found on here (to change MID without Eng) I still get the same Device not found error even after inputting other commands that show my Serial Number so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. All I want is to update my software so I can start sending/receiving MMS.
What folder is your
adb/fastboot .open the folder and Shift+right-click to open a command prompt and try it again .
Did you use a Toolkit to unlock the bootloader and to install custom recovery?
Just trying to go over what's different if you used just
adb/fastboot from the very start out of the box
Have you manually entered T-Mobile's APN info into the phone? This is typically required to use any device that is not purchased from your carrier (carrier branded).
BTW, what is with all the bad thread titles today? At least 4 threads in this forum titled "HELP", "[Q]" or something similar. This this is a Q&A and help forum, so of course you are asking for help and have a question. But please try to give your thread a specific title describing your issue, to help keep the forum organized.
I know that i can pay to sim unlock our desire 610 but surely s-off has been achieved so we can change our CID to sim unlock our device for free??

There is/was someone in the general board who received and is selling s-off 610s. (No actualperson bought from his sale, so I don't know if he was lying or if it was an error)
ClearD is working on a Rom, so he's probably the only person currently with an idea of how to go about it. Like I said though, he's been working pretty hard on the Rom so he may be reticent to start a new project.

Phew. I appreciate the thought, but that is way beyond my level of experience. However, I do have information of someone working on an s-off for our device. It's probably going to be a while until it's finalized, but it will work on a wide range of devices, similar to Sunshine. It will also be a paid app, like Sunshine. But, I'd pay for s-off myself. It's important. Lol

Can you elaborate a little on that? I know s-off is important but if the bootloader is unlocked and we have a kernel doesn't that mean we can flash unsigned zips already?
Or is it more about using it on other carriers? I have no intention but if I gave this phone to someone, could they take it to say verizon and activate it?
I'm just confused. I guess I don't know the difference between s-off an unlocked bootloader for practical reasons.
Unlocked bootloader lets us flash system, boot, and recovery partitions. That's about it. We can't change the Cid or splash screen or radio image, as those are still security protected. Like the warning screen from the early root method? It's the splash screen. We can remove that once we get s-off. Basically s-off lets you change/flash anything.
Is anyone try "oneclick root" option from MobileGo PC Suite?
On Youtube is posted video(animated presentation)how to root Desire 610 with MobileGo.
On Wondreshare Mobilego Forum is even link to additional root tool: "CC Root" http : //goo.gl/IsyzC
Some with D610 as backup phone maybe wish try, no word about S-OFF, reverse option (from root) is not supported.
P.S.
"oneclick root" option is available in free version of app.
We've already got a root tool... A very simple root tool. That I made. It doesn't s-off.

Is not bad thing knowing if exist more than one option how to root 610, true is that no any feedback about MobileGo root method on any htc phone.
I would prefer wish to hear from you an answer like: I could try...
Thx
We already have more than one root method. And they're simple. There in fact doesn't need to be more than one, because the bootloader can be unlocked and one is all there will ever need to be, because of this. It's as easy as flashing recovery and flashing root through recovery. That's it. My tool just automates that process. Why use something untested when we already have one that will always work, without fail?
Also this thread is about sim unlocking, not rooting. S-off is not root and we don't have s-off capabilities yet. Back on track.
