I make own build on own OTA server. After latest merges I get that error - OTA not start, I get only this error.
Where is more OTA?? OFC I don't think about android_packages_apps_ParanoidOTA. I reset --hard to Apr 25 but without changes.

?? unless you wiped /data option in the OTA menu, you dont lose the play store. even at that, the OTA can download GAPPS or you can manually download GAPPS zip and flash it.

the AOSP for M4 2303 is already available, if you look in the Software Binary file for Marshmallow its already included (tulip) files required in the zip file. http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/tool/software-binaries-for-aosp-m-android-6-0/.
Also if you look at the AOSP Build instructions, it includes tulip (E2303) as well (http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/open-source/open-devices/aosp-build-instructions/how-to-build-aosp-marshmallow-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/.
But Sony has not officially announced it as officially there is no Boot Loader unlock instruction.
If you are willing to take the risk and know how to build, you can always contribute to the build

I wasn't aware about AOSP for tulip. Too bad it's a prebuilt kernel. I think I might try to build this after school is out. If anyone else wants to build it, that would be great

Great, i have a very bad computer to build, but i can help test the build if possible.
Error while flashing AOSGP ROM
Hallo, I tried to flash on my phone the AOSGP Rom. I can flash the addon without any problem. When I tried to flash the rom there is an error message.
"e:error executing updater binary in zip"
Has anybody an idea how to fix it?
My phone is rooted and the BL is unlocked.
I use TWRP 2.8.7.0
the firmware is 26.1.A.2.167
E2303

You should use newest twrp. I think it is now RC2.

It's a shame they removed Maxxaudio, was one of the "prime features". Never heard of Dirac HD, hopefully it will fix the background hiss in the speaker.
Also, did they finally fix that horrible Bluetooth sound?

Boot into ROM
Download ota
Install ota in stock recovery
Boot into bootloader
Flash hybrid recovery from PC y fastboot
Reboot into hybrid recovery
Install modified SuperSU
Have fun.
I´ve downloaded the ota file via software updates, but i doesn´t installed it. I flashed the old full zip and after the ota one via trwp, but after reboot the notificactions and software updates menu says, i should install the new download.. Phone Information says i´ve installed 3.0.2 with june Security fixes
Who can i delete the ota system download-file?

Flashed micro gapps and working fine. Only thing i noticed beside the Camera is the battery ícon. All options work unless the circle one

I can use google keyboard, but when I go into the settings, it won't allow me to. I chose stock for opengapps android 7.1.

Maybe this is a noob question but is it possible to root without installing twrp recovery?
Because if I install twrp recovery I will probably loose the capacitive buttons and camera flash.

Out of the blue I got 163(432) through regular update. I guess just July security patches.
July security patches and EIS for 1080p 30 fps is all.

I was on May patch too man. Got the July one directly just last week
I upgraded from 160 to 163 today too. But I had to tap menu in System update app and choose to download complete package, otherwise it didn't offer me any updates.

No, it won't erase data if you update via the system updater, unless you flash the full firmware manually
