Im dealing with a semi bricked device here. It came rooted and to free up space the owner removed a few apps, so he said. Probably a few vital system apps, now it keeps crashing. Tried factory defaults through recovery mode, but with no success.
Now Im looking for a ROM that I can flash to it. It´s a 7" A13 tablet.
Android Version 4.0.4
Baseband 1.5_121204
Kernel 3.0.8+ [email protected] #10
Build A13_86V_M758A.20121205
Only thing I might have found is on 115.com and I cant download from there.

I have buyed a 10.1v tab / P7100 and I was wondering how can I backup / restore my ROM/kernel (modem, internal partition and so on).
Now I have Android 3.0.1, Baseband version P7100BUKE2, Kernel version 2.6.36.3 [email protected] #1, Build number HRI83.BUKE2, whici is the original.
Befor to start modding, rooting, and installing other ROMs, I like to backup my system to can get back to original when I want.
Hope you guys help me, I really need this, and I need as fast as you can, because I can`t resist anymore with this old version and buggy.

I searched a way to root my phone in this site and every other I found and didn't
find one.
Excuse me if this post is not necesary and the solution was right in front of me the whole time.
I tried my best not to unnecesary disturb the comunity but failed.

Your best bet is to use SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse. You can google the name or go to his website at shortfuse org

I didn't told you before the methods I already tried.
First: before reading that many exploits were fixed in 2.3.6 I tried z4root and superoneclick with zergRush.
Both got stuck in the middle.
To fix the backwards direction of hebrew text (the main reason why I need to root this device so urgently) I tried to update from Settings>about phone>system updates (somone somewhere sayd It worked for him) and RTLAutoPatcher-1.5 that needs the rom to be deodexed and mine is not.

Edit:
I finally found out what i was doing wrong, I deactivated my antivirus and downloaded superclick again and at it worked!!
Now I'll try to find a way to fix the text direction without changing my rom but if I'll must I'll probably end up chaging the rom

Log in as root to my smartphone GOOGLE delete some applications ... and it was a mistake:silly:, I did not backup.
Reestablished after factory data or something, when prendome says "Touch the android to begin" I play and nothing happens, I mean still asking me to touch it ... do not know that I have recently ... help please.

Hello,
I have a android tablet (model: yg-mg701) and it bricked when I tried to use the app
LCD Density changer. It got stuck on the boot.
It seems that I can make it alive again by updating the firmware, but there’s one problem. Since that it’s bricked, I’m not able to flash files. The recovery does not accept the new firmware, and does not allow me to flash a new rom, or firmware.
I’ve downloaded a custom recovery, and I want to flash it, but I’m not able to access the files on the /system folder, or use ADB. Nothing seems to work.
I have the original firmware files.
If someone could help me to use the firmware that is in this thread: (i can not post links) I would be greatfull.

my aim is to root my phone and delete some of the stock apps, i'm not planning on modifying the phone in any way (if i can help it) i have done the s2 in the past when it was 1st released but that was a long time ago.
can anyone please point me in the right direction of how to root my phone and also a list of safe apps to remove such as game hub etc
it will be much appreciated

download odin then boot up into download mode (have kies air installed on pc but not running at whilst odin is, just

update you may have to update clock. recovery mode anduse cwm to update kernal to this i just skimmed down the list theres an lp7 rooted kernal through cwm inly it looks but still usefull i hope

thanks. a friend of mine in a phone shop today recommended checking chainfire aswell so i am going to spend the eve having a read through and hopefully have it rooted later tonight

Please help me.
I have MpMan MOD74c tablet. It have android 4.0.3. Now i have problem in it. The startup stucked on ANDROID loading screen. So due to which i need to re-install android on it.
I also tried it to make working by resetting my tablet but it also didnot made it workable..
