Use this thread and download player and install.(this will replace your default music player because makesure you have a backup on your old music player).read thread fully with quotes and install the addisional files if you need.this player works fine with sk17i but didn't tested in x10 so you can test it.

Why dont u first read the thread I linked.yes I am talking about the player which supports lock screen control and nothification bar controls.just try it.if it not works just mension me.I will give u orginal xperia mini pro music player with those supports.this player is more interesting.because I have told u first to try this.

I dont know what u guys talking about.because using my pc it seems there is no any sign of closing thread.ok I have another solution.if u want try this.just upgrade your music player to this thats all.otherwise I think closing this thread will be the best option.

'Thread closed' I believe was a joke as in he thinks doubletwist is the best and only solution to lockscreen music player so there is no point talking about anything else.
Personally I think you will find "Player pro" from the android market WELL worth the $4 price tag. It is leaps and bounds ahead of doubetwist especially for use on the lockscreen, it makes my phone look like a significantly more expensive handset.

the lack of eq is strange for a branded player like that (was expecting a bit more) but the feel is more definitely more in line with ICS than the default player with its corner bubbles and all.
IMO the bubbles thing doesn't work with ICS at all - the sony software sticks out really bad and just decided I'm gonna go make a thread about it...

PS- i suggest trying open source vanilla music player. It also works with the new lockscreen and has widgets that work in other launchers too. I'm having some trouble with album artwork with it though so would be happy for other peoples opinons on it...

Heres some screenshots, i kinda like this music player. Only bad thing is for some of my albums it puts wierd pictures instead of the actual album art that i paid for -_-

thanks for the screenshots, i'm a newbie on XDA so i can't post links. This player is just awesome :laugh:
In settings uncheck the Auto download album art and check use embedded album art, this might solve your problem.
does it scrobble tracks to last.FM? That's the only thing keeping me from using Apollo (the cyanogen music player) which is really cool except it's missing that feature.

All u have to do is download Simple Last.fm Scrobbler from play store [cant post link since i'm new here]. It scrobbles perfectly :good:

Thanks for sharing OP. This player is awesome. If you're looking for another alternative to try out, i'm currently using Apollo from (cm10) as it works best with DSP Manager.
Guyz, wouldn't it be awesome if we could integrate Apollo Music Player into themer!
Coz, Apollo itself is a really good Music Player with loads of features...... :cyclops:

Unfortunately Apollo doesn't feature on the Play Store, so it's a very tricky app to integrate. Hopefully we can add it in the future though :victory:

Looks like a neat app, I'll probably check it out once I manage to un-break my phone (tried updating rom, broken radio on new version, S-On making my life a living hell to revert and the dev of the rom constantly releasing new things makes me want to try them, so torn). Is Themer a sort of Launcher in itself?

Yep dude...... it's a launcher!
After a while from trying poweramp I find it to be a lot better that Apollo music player

PlayerPro should be working (music info should be displaying). Lock screen integration will come in the future, but one app at a time
I hope mycolorscreen make videos of customizing Android TABLET Homescreens . Many tablet users will really appreciate it .

Can't use PlayerPro with the Themer music widget. It says is not on the recommended music player and i have to download a new player( for exemple Google Music player) to be compatible with widget.

Hi, the developers are still looking into this. It seems that some players are harder to implement than others, but trust us we're pushing them on that side

Welcome Marco . LOL i didnt know you were personally using mycolorscreen on xda I though it was someone else. Love your videos and Please make the videos for the nexus 7 or available for asus memo pad hd 7 but i think they have the same screen reso but im not sure.

Ahh, so all of the current submissions on that website will not work with the tablets right? I was thinking they were just skins for icons and such, but I'm thinking I know too little..

Hi, well if you mean general themes, most of them will work, it's just the widget resizing and grid sizes that will change. Regarding Themer submissions, they won't work on tablets as Themer doesn't support tablets just yet and once tablets are supported, themes will have to be redesigned.

Guys please help me out as I am using Samsung galaxy star gts5282 (dual sim) and there is no music player widget or shortcut on the lock screen and it is very annoying to go to the app to change a song every minute.
If anyone has a lock screen or a mod or anything to get the music widget to the lock screen please post it.
Search for xposed module if u r rooted u can change tracks using volume button.

Use xperia lockscreen, available as a flashable zip here, or available exclusively in XperiaPirates 2.0 ROM. There you will find music widget in lockscreen.
No use as the lock screen music widget is not working with Samsung music app

Works with walkman.
i changed from xperia pirates to stock due to the samsung stock music player which is awesome so going after walkman is certainly not my thing

nly possib if u able to...mod android policy.jar,Framework.jar also i think not sure..but i check stock framework there is some pnga for music player so..its not impossible to make this happen.. i cant help u to edit those jar or apks file my exams are coming...i just tried to help u

Poweramp>everything prettymuch
It has cool widgets which u can theme....
It is samsung music player we are talking abt there can be nothing cool about it...
Why i say poweramp is because it doesnt lag 1 bit against all other music players...
And it has the folder sortability too...
Sound is awesome and doesnt consume ram
And btw there IS a widget for sammmy music player but it looks stupid (its there already)

our lockscreen doesnt support widgets so we need players that give their own lockscreen...
(btw for lock screen with widgets use widgetlocker then use widgt frm ny music app)
