yeah win
So I have had this for a couple of days now and I have to say it works way better than the 3 stock cover slide in aftermarket receivers I tried.
This factory one works great on the Nokia bases that all the other units choked on.
Now I set it down on them and I don't have to be careful. It just charges. None of that on and off stuff the other after market inserts did.

Pair that with this Nokia DT-900 and you're in business

No new cover needed
I see the S5 has an official cover released now too. But these covers seem to be fatter than stock.
wiqiqi dot com - The Note 3 receiver they're selling here is what I am using without any added thickness and no issues whatsoever. And it's cheaper too.
Is this cover like the stock back cover that makes the camera lens pop out or its like the cases that makes the camera not pop out?
I mean I'm planning to get the aluminum bumpers but I am also looking for a back cover that secures the camera when put on flat surfaces
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I am going to be getting the note 3 next week, and I am definitely interested in wireless charging, I've never used it before.
Tell me, please, do you still have access to the USB port when this is installed? Does it replace the original back cover that comes with the phone? How does it connect to the battery? Does it charge slower over wireless than when charging via USB? Does it affect NFC?
I realize these questions could be Googled, but if someone has this unit it would take only a moment to answer. Thank you

It is thicker than the stock back cover, just like the sview cover. The camera is recessed and does not touch anything when you lay the phone on its back. Perfect for a bumper case.

You still have access to the USB port and can charge through the USB port if you like. If you look at the picture you can see pins that stick out.... Those connect to the phone allowing the battery to charge wireless and it does replace the whole back cove and make the phone a little thicker. Lastly it does charge slower especially compared to the thr USB 3.0 cable that comes with the phone. I have not tested nfc as I really don't have a use for it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect if if you get the Samsung and not an aftermarket.

This case has to be one of the best case for our galaxy note. It fits tight and snug and it double protected with two case. I have tried over four cases and none can compare. With the two cases its still slim, enough and comfortable to hold..... I totally recommend this product. Best of all it comes with a kickstand on the back.

Over 4 cases but no more than five cases and under six cases.
How is the view from the front camera?
The image in the OP & the ebay links appear to show the lip of the case encrouching on the camera & proximity sensor, and almost covering the earpiece.

Zenus makes great case for the note with a stand... ... i have the black and blue one. :good:
Great case. I got the white one off ebay for under 10 bux with the belt clip holster. Great size on the kick stand use it a lot even when i hold my phone in landscape mode. Good grip. Only thing i just wish the rubber/silicone was like tpu or something stronger.
Just got the case posted in OP, loving it so far. Highly recommended, and for under $15 shipped, you can't go wrong.
How's the bulk with this case? Is it hard to slide out of your pocket with the silicon?

So I've been looking around for an aluminum protective case for my note 3 since it came home. As most of you have heard from others, the full aluminum cases despite the protection, suffer from drastic signal loss. I figured I couldn't go wrong with an aluminum bumper and bought two awesome looking bumpers off ebay. One is a gorgeous solid aluminum bumper with no hole for mic but really nicely made and a thin aluminum bumper with all openings. The biggest drawback of both of these bumpers is that there is no camera protection. As all of you have noticed the rear camera is raised a bit, which makes these bumpers a no go if your laying it down on rear. I saw a full protective case on Ebay that was composed of three pieces : aluminum frame, silicone style case and aluminum rear with a cutout. I went ahead and ordered for a measly $14 and some change, thinking it wouldn't be a big loss. My package arrived today from Hong Kong and I couldn't be happier. I absolutely love it. It is the exact look and feel I wanted. For those who want a nice solid aluminum case with no signal loss I recommend you get one. I hardly write stuff on here but I felt compelled to share my experience.

I'm pretty sure its for NFC as well. Plus it helps with reception as opposed to solid rear cases with affect reception. Personally I'd like to see someone step it up and make some premium CNC cut luxury cases lime they make for iphones with nicely made cut outs in rear. I reached out to three of those companies today , like MeeJoJo and 2 of them said only iphones and s4 's.
These are just some cnc cases for iphone 5s that I'd like to see for our phones.
I think that case is ugly and weird looking. I think it makes the phone look like a plain block of metal. Maybe it would look better if it was black anodized aluminum.

Had something similar for my previous Note 2. These metal cases tend to cause the phone signal to degrade. Hope you guys won't experience that problem.

Using it right now. Sure it does feel heavy and stuff. Aint water proof more like water resistant the glass panel of the casing easily left a finger print mark. Phone feels solid and sturdy drop it a few times and it sure does give u a peace of mind knowing how well this case protects your phone. To me even if it feels heavy or big or bulky it is well worth it to spend on it rather than letting your phone drop and smashed.

i had one for my S4 and I can tell you the following:
water covering over the earpiece makes it hard as hell to hear anyone
water covering over the speaker makes anything playing out of it dull sounding and not as loud
water covering over the mic makes anyone on the phone sound muffled
Now I took all my water coverings off so it was pretty much a metal otterbox with no waterproof seals and I loved it. Some people didnt like how heavy it was, but it was not a big deal for me.

I got one on my phone everything is functional. Yes s-pen is in there but on exposed there is a mod to hid all items in the top left of the status bar so this way you can leave your s-pen a quarter of the way out and you will be able to pull it out with your finger nail other then that it's great. I had to buy a case with a holster for the 6.3 mega to use it with a holster. I heated up the side of the holster with a heat gun bent them out and now it's no longer a brick in my pocket. Down side it's heave now with the case one hit and you can knock someone out cold with it and still make a phone call when done. Lol I haven't tried. If you guys want pics I'll be happy to post some.

That one's smaller, not designed for the Note 3, connector is also the old USB 2.0 design
That cheaper plug still works (N2 plugs, etc still work on N3 just not USB3)
However, thats making the phone stand up on its own weight almost & is puttting more stress on the plug then there really should be (hence the cheapness, bad not thought out design) I actually had a iphone 5 dock from china that I got for $4 the lightning plug snapped off from the phones free standing weight.
Ive owned those cheapy chinese docks for other phones, and...Honestly NOT worth the money even at that price. Finding one that has actual support behind the phone would be better...

Yep I see what your saying but I don't remove my case while charging. It works perfect for me with the kind of case I use. To each their own.

Yeah going with naked phone with cheap docks are scary
:cyclops:
Just ordered mine. Pretty cheap, even if I end up not using it like most of my gadget accesories.
I just got this in the mail and figured that I would contribute a bit of a review and some pictures in case anyone has any questions.
So far my first impressions are that it feels really good in the hand. Like the original S-View cover, it should also offer some basic drop protection due to the lip that surrounds the top, bottom and exposed sides. It is also a bit thicker in the rear than the plain S-View cover. The only way it is not protected is if I happen to drop it with the case open. I use an iloome flexible glass protector in case that happens, but let's hope not. I will not go into the S-View function as that has been covered pretty well on this forum, except to say I have had no issues with it locking with the front cover folded all the way back. I have tried it so far on a Tylt Vu charger and it worked well. It did get a bit warm, but I didn't find it a cause for concern. I also have a Nokia DT-900 charger to test with at the office. I will be sure to do that and let you know if it charges well. I tested NFC using my Nexus 7 and it worked well. The biggest flaw with this cover has been addressed by Spigen. I have added the magnetic clip to it and it is very effective. I have to say this cover looks very polished and professional, especially with the clip. Overall, I find that it kills 2 birds with one stone. It adds wireless charging, without the loss of NFC or S-view and it protects the Note 3 from minor drops. I haven't seen any drop tests with the S-View but it is a more substantial case than the first effort on the GS4.

Hi, ive ordered this exact same setup with the Spigen Clip.. just a small question though, does the spigen magnet affect the spen?
Ive read some where that other cases with a magnetic flap sometimes affects the accuracy of the Spen

I have not seen any impact. I can hover at the edge of the screen right next to the magnet with no change in responsiveness. I think the magnet only points straight up.
Nice. I also just picked up this combo from Amazon when the price for the S View case dropped. Should be here tomorrow, very happy to get these at the new discount.

That is a different case/cover. I don't think the wireless s-view cover is on amazon yet. I have only seen it on Samsung and Mobilefun.

Bought mine from here and due to arrive today or tomorrow. Can't wait to get it. Tried using a QI antenna but messed with SView and would only charge in one place on charger. I will let you guys know if it is worth the purchase from here or if I bought a knock off. http://www.shopblt.com/item/samsung-ef-tn900bbesta-s-view-black-wireless/samdrv_eftn900bbestah.html

OK got my wireless SView case yesterday from the above link and its the real deal. Works perfect with my Nokia Fatboy charging pad. Charges to 100% while on or off. Does not get too hot while charging. This was a great deal. I would snatch them up while they have them in stock!

I got one of the pass through Qi receivers and it's working perfectly with the regular sview case. I'm happy with the results, maybe I would've gotten this case but for what I paid to get the sane function...meh

initially I bought the QI antenna but would work through case and messed up my SView window. It worked well with the regular back on it and no case but need some protection as I work in a commercial environment.

Could you show us a picture of the back side of the S-View chip?
Edit: IOW, which of these does it look like?

Does anyone know how much thicker the wireless s view cover is compared to the normal s view cover. I can get them at the same price. I just want to add too much thickness to the phone.

Thick enough that the camera is barely recessed instead of protruding.

Just to be clear for everyone looking at this thread, the one pictured is NOT the official Wireless S-View Cover! The one pictured is the Spigen Wireless S-View Cover, not the official Samsung Wireless S-View Cover (like the thread's title reads). Just don't want anyone getting confused, as the thread's title is very misleading and should be edited.
