[Q] how to daylight saving - Samsung Galaxy Mega

hi all
i'am in egypt ... and yesterday we have started the daylight saving
in my galaxy mega 5.8 i do the time manual and edit it
but when i use whatsapp or facebook app i see the original time in the chats i received
how can i fex it and force all apps to know about daylight saving has updated
any app any method ... i have root access ... PLZ help me

I think when we use Facebook app with WiFi connection then it automatically save right time..

no the ony way to do it till now is doing time for other country

That should prove once again, nobody should listen to the advice given by FREZI EVAN.
Fortunately, this time was not the possibility of bricking. Others have.
Please do your own research and do not blindly follow this person.
I woukd have thought a simple shut down and reboot should solve your issue, can you not call your carrier?

why all of that about this person
i can call and send smss normally
but i now choose kawit
but i'am in Egypt ... i need to choose Egypt and solve the problem
any one help me PLZ

I would love to help, but I need to understand first. Sorry, but I dont have a clue as to what you are saying.
Is this still same problem?

so u mean to say that 1+1 = 2 + 1 =3 +1 =4 +1 = 5 +1 = 6 + 1 =7 + 1 =8 + 1 = 9 + 1 =10 +1 = 11 + 1=12?

I have a Sensation... So I don't know if this will help much. I've been to Egypt in a while and I think the problem is the with network carriers.
Try to change it manually (including timezone option too), or let it update it automatically, I think it worked fine for me when I connected my Sensation to mobile network... Not sure though

Same here too
I have tried the following and it worked
1- unchecked "auto date and time"
2- unchecked "auto time zone"
3- Select time zone Beirut or any +3 city
4- Manual set time to ypur local time
if it works give Ahly :good: ya zamalkawy
