One of the most useful features in the latest touchwiz is the ultra power saving mode. I think that this ROM should have something like it because it will help some of the people that don't have a big battery in there phone and are constantly on there phone.

It has nothing to do with ROMs or software. And yeah it's quite normal.
Any way to take control..?

Try checking which apps max out your CPU. At least you know what's causing it.
Then you can use profiles to limit the CPU activity for the apps.
As per samsung it is normal and natural.. you should not be worried about it..

It's normal.
Samsung have already mentioned in manual that overheating Is normal for our phone.

alternatively you may want to underclock your cpu... I think Project Engine Kernel has that feature
My Galaxy s5 starts heating up randomly throughout the day and the battery life has decreased too. Anyone else experiencing this also? Please Help.
Check under Battery to see what's eating it.

I have laid my hands on almost all s5 based rom for s3. The recent one is s5 mini revolution v12. Like all other roms, in this rom as well the ultra power saving mode crashes just after few seconds getting into the ultra power saving mode. What's the solution?

I was fishing around with one of these shortcut making apps, and I found download booster. As far as I can tell it works and just doesn't have a path to it in the settings. I even have a screenshot

Hahah, these bigger providers seems to be full of ****. They even remove features which could help people with data usage from the phone.

So I've had rather poor battery life from my nexus 9
Here's some screen shots. Any particular reason why?
Max of 5hours SOC
Thanks

Du battery saver is using a lot of your battery. Get rid off it. All battery saver apps, except for greenify, use more battery than they save.
Edit, also Google adaway if you're rooted. You need an add blocker

Yeah, never ever EVER use those "battery saving" apps, speed boosters and such, all they do is bloat up your device.
