DLL needed - AT&T LG Optimus G

I need the DLL. file for this .tot - LGE970AT-00-V10o-ATT-US-SEP-29-2012-0.zip
I tried the IRC channel but no one responds. Can someone just give me a direct link for it or maybe pm it to me? Thanks.

That's the ICS tot. You might be able to find it in the general thread. There is also a link in the topic on the irc channel...just not sure if it still has ICS or just JB.
Sent from my LG-GEEB using Tapatalk

Yeah I know what it's for. The reason I need it is I did another version and it made my wifes phone a Korean version for some reason and now it won't do the OTA updates because it has an authentication error now because of it. So I wanted to go back further and just let the OTA for JB install and her phone be back to normal. It also changed her IMEI number.

ICS Update Un Rooted My Phone... Quick ?

Hopefully I posted this in the right forum, If not please move it!
Ok, So I updated my phone via Kies and got the official ICS update (Finally) for my AT&T Galaxy Note, Problem is, as expected... it unrooted my phone and I'd like it rooted again, I want to keep the new official stock ICS rom and just want it rooted again to delete all that garbage bloatware to keep my phone sharp, any help?
Do i just re-root it doing it the same way I did before?
Will it ruin my new ICS rom?
Can anyone link me to the files that will root my phone but keep the ICS Stock Rom?
I didnt have a single problem Rooting it the first time on ginerbread, but Im not sure what will happen with a different official rom installed. Just dont wanna have to reinstall ICS again or something, when I just spent about an hour setting it back to how I had everything, then remembered updating unrooted me.
Any advice or help is really appreciated!
Thanks!
Not really in right section more like a Q&A section.
However the devs need a little time to sort through all the code but these guys are smart and root will come soon and they will proudly announce it. Just enjoy for now.

I just odined the cwm .tar and then flashed the superuser .zip (both can be found in the general section, just do a search) and I'm rooted on the official update.

My links....look for gnote page...
ok so just do odin again liek i did before?
And I hope im not asking too much, but can anyone link me to the files I need directly? The last ones I used was from a source outside of XDA (xda was down for maintenance) and I think it gave me a virus on my computer and after doign a system restore today i dont wanna do that again lol. so if its not a problem can someone link me to the right files i need?
Thanks everyone!
Yes.
Now look one post above your last one.
To see the links Mr. Joe is referencing you need to be on a pc.
To install CWM you need to be on a pc.
To root you need a pc.
Mr.Joe would only post trusted links.

I successfully updated my Note to ICS yesterday and want to root it again as well. I looked through the Note section in BigJoe's thread, but can't figure out exactly what files I need. I rooted it with Gingerbread without issue. I've looked through the unlocking/rooting section and the one thread that explains how to root specifically says that the method will NOT work with the official ICS update.
Sorry to sound so dense, but could someone link exactly which files I/we need to root the official ICS via Odin?
What you asked for is in the third post.

ps that odin3 file doesnt work just gives a random script window then force closes

[Q] How do I LGNPST my LGOG to stock for OTA update?

I've noticed a lot of the new ROMs are requiring an LGNPST to stock and then OTA update to install new ROMs.
Are there any guides on how to do this?
I'm fairly confident I can do the procedure, I just don't know where to get the LGNPST software and how to specifically do it for the LG Optimus G as well as the stock files to flash.
Any help would be appreciated!

3a under the FAQ on this page points you in a good direction for finding/using LGNPST. You can probably google the names of the files and download them, they aren't provided for copyright-related reasons.
You can restore using this tot file, it'll take you straight to a full stock jellybean. You'll have to re-root and unlock again.

ok how do you obtain those files, it just shows what you need, how or where do you get the necessary lg files and the other one? no one has download links are we suppose to magically create them?
Go to the IIRC #lg-optimus-g there a pastebin guide in the intro when you get into the channel that has all the files you need. 20j is in the general section of the forums

The links regarding lgnpst downloads aren't allowed on xda, which has been stated several times in many different threads, along with stating all the information can be found in the IRC channel, #lg-optimus-g. But people who don't use Search wouldn't know that.
I didn't want to start a new thread to ask this but why is it that you must go back to stock to flash a new ROM. I can say this has been a big reason i haven't wanted to flash anything as freely as i normality would with previous phones. Thank goodness i like my stock ROM after debloating and custom kernel. This is my first lg phone by the way

Ok here's the deal.
in order to flash the new AOSP ROMS (AOKP CM10.1 etc) you MUST have the new Trustzone/RPM files in place on your phone.
With the new Jellybean update from At&T, our phones now share trust zone compatibility with the Canadian LGOG and the Nexus 4.
This is why there was an influx of AOSP ROMS. The kernels are common now so ROM builders can modify N4 ROMS for our phones much more easily than before.
There are three ways to get the Trustzone/RPM:
1) accept the OTA for Jellybean from AT&T
2) LGNPST to Jellybean
3) use the TeenyBin LGNPST found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994
Is there a way to look in root explorer to see if our phone has this format needed for the new ROMs.
The reason I ask, I used LGNPST with TeenyBin, but gave flashed a few different ROMs, both ICS and JB and just want to be sure my phone is ready.

Really?? Since u took the time to reiterate proper XDA procedure u could have done it in a NON-TROLL way. you could have said what should be searched or even given the link. TROLLS are rare in our LGOG section so please be human or Go Away.

update verification failed

I have a TMobile P769 and I am on 10E, I can't update to 10G or to JB because my phone gives the message "verification failed" after downloading a 24mb OTA package. Anything I can do to fix this?
Are you rooted?
Sent from my LG-P769 using XDA Premium HD app
yes. although i've done a factory reset twice for other reasons since root. however, I still appear to be rooted.
I had the same problem when 10g came out. I never solved it I just used off line flashing to get to 10g. Have you uninstalled any apk's that came on stock rom??
Yeah, I've uninstalled quite a few stock APKs, however, offline flashing doesn't seem to work with my phone for some reason. Maybe I should try again.

You may have to re-install all of the stock .apks before updating. I remember this being mentioned in another post somewhere because it is looking for all of those stock programs to update. There's a post around here somewhere with a link to a .zip file with all of the .apks and instructions about where to put them.
I'm in the same boat, but I have been trying to hold out for the new JB release. As soon as someone gets that working with Apps on SD I'll make the switch.
Maybe you already knew all of this and were hoping for an easier solution... in which case I will join you in hoping that someone has one.
would you happen to have a link to that thread haha?

[Q] LGNPST won't let me choose the proper DLL

I've been trying to get my LGOG which is currently in 4.0.4 to update to 4.1.2. I already have everything ready. I've installed all the software needed (LG drivers, Components, GenericModules, LGNPST 1.2), I have the .bin, and I have the .dll.
The only thing standing in my way is: LGNPST won't let me choose the .dll! I can select the .bin file, but not the .dll. I've been trying to get this to work for hours; I even stayed up until 4am trying to figure it out.
I searched around, and I found that I had to register the .dll file first in order for it to be detected by LGNPST, but it does not want to be registered, no matter how many times I try it. This error comes up everytime I make an attempt:
The module "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\LGE970_20121005_LGFLASHv141.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\LGE970_20121005_LGFLASHv141.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.
I even went through attempting to register it through an escalated (Administrator-level) Command Prompt, to no avail. I don't know what to do; all I want is to update it to 4.1.2 but it's been so difficult for me. Would anyone please help? Any support will be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
P.S.
I live in the Philippines, so calling AT&T to push the update to my phone is an absolute no-go. Thank you!
That is a .DLL for use with another program called LGflashtool so it isn't compatible with lgnpst. If you use tStilenzio automated lgnpst it will register the DLL on install. Unzip it then right click on .bat file to run as administrator ( it will say LS970 DLL but it works fine).

I've also tried his LGNPST, but it still doesn't want to work. When I use his, only one DLL is available: the one called LGNPST_Utility3.dll which is the last file found in the Components 3.0 folder, and not the one for the E970. When I tried to flash the stock ROM using the Utility3.dll, it errored immediately; I tried that about 3 or 4 times.

Here is the Verizon LG G3 VS985 10B TOT file for flashing back to stock. you cant flash a bad tot because lg flash runs a crc check on the tot first before it flashes it. tho an md5 on the tot.zip may save a few minutes in extracting if you have a bad download.
