[Q] Phone turns off after 2 mins of use - LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II, L7 II, L9 II

I used this guide to install CWM to my phone, the phone was already rooted successfully. I used the following guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486512
Before the first rom flash the system description said the phone was a P705g and the phone itself has it marked as a P708g. I saw this as no consequence and carried on.
*** UPDATE***
So the sticker behind the battery marks the phone as P705g, the plastic case just said P708g. Guess they just didnt want to waste plastic at the company
As soon as I unlocked my bootloader the phone started turning off after 2-3 mins of use. I was able to flash CM10 nightly successfully and it worked, aside the turning off. I thought it might be a problem with CWM so I switched over to TWRP. I installed it through CWM, but to no avail. Still having the same problem. And I yes I wiped cache/dalvik.
After the phone dies it restarts and keeps loading the cyanogenmod load screen, until it eventually restarts again. This happens infinitely.
I have phone now that needs to have the battery popped everytime I want it to load. That would have been ok but it keeps turning off...
Guys I need help! Currently a student and money is scarce so buying a new phone is out of the question for some time.
Thanks for the help

[Q] Stuck on booting screen

I was running Bionix 1.31 on my Vibrant, everything was wonderful! Smooth speed, GPS working great and everything, so I decided to flash DoW14 kernel v1.1.1 HD so I could have voodoo color, sound and BLN. First few weeks phone was working great! Then started to act strangely… sometimes it rebooted or turned off by itself and no matter what earphones I plugged to listen to some music, randomly stopped playing just as if I unplugged the headphones. Then two weeks ago I was using my phone and I put it in my pocket… when I pulled it out to use it again, it was off. Turned it on and it was stuck on the booting screen, after like 10 minutes I realized it was soft-bricked. I can get to download mode, though, so I used AIO Toolbox and flashed back to stock with Odin, flash was successful but when I turned my phone on shortly after the Vibrant screen it rebooted and did the same over and over again. Tried to flash back to stock a few times now and I get the same.
I ended up hard-bricking the phone, so I took it to a guy with a Riffbox and even after restoring the bootloader and all, he's getting the exact same problem.
Your help is very much appreciated!
Sounds like either the battery is dying or the phone.
Update for the OP: After having the bootloader restored and flashing stock with Odin, I get the (data wipe failed) error and after the Vibrant Screen shows up, the phone turns off.
Already tried flashing Eugene's FTDB and it boots me into recovery, I use adb reboot and after the Galaxy S screen the screen turns off and the soft-buttons stay lit but doesn't boot. Flashed back to stock and I get the same data wipe error.
There is a video on youtube of a guy with the same problem, I wanted to share it here but xda wouldn't let me since I don't post much around here.
Your help is much appreciated.

[Q] looking for some advice or help... boot loop?? or broken phone...

Have been rooting Androids for a while and have been about to solve all my problems by doing research and finding the solution... first time i actaully am stumped...
I have a HTC EVO 4G LTE, second one i had the first the microphone went bad, i rooted it just like the last one and it was running fine. I deleted a few system apps such as sprint music, friend stream, tunein radio, and an HTC app. forget what that was. but now my, at work today, keep restarting randomly and died very quickly. when i finally got a chance to charge it, it hung on a boot loop and then entered the system about 45 minutes later. and then quickly reset back into the boot loop, i have at least 25% battery at this point. it continues to cycle through this for the next 4 hours. i tried to just shut the system off but after like 10 minutes it would start the boot loop again and since i work at radioshack trying to fix it there really wasn't an option. I did try to boot into twrp and do a factory reset how ever when i attempted to boot in it just froze at the HTC screen and then reset into the boot loop.
Once i got home i relocked the bootloader and did a hardreset... to no prevail... it continued to reset i even took my memory card and then that seemed to solve it... i put the back cover on without the memory card and it almost instantly reset and continued through the boot loop until i removed the back cover again. i don't know to much about the making of this back cover but it does seem to have three sensers to know it if it on or off, i am assuming... i tried installing stock recovery and taken off root. the only thing i haven't does is a completely stock OS reset through an ruu... and if i do that i am taking the phone back to sprint and getting another new one... does anyone have any ideas? and if this same thing is posted somewhere i am sorry, i have searched and tried everything i found and so far aside from the stock reset nothing has really worked. i factory reset from system, fastboot, and twrp (it loaded only once). I did relock the oem and did uninstall root. removed micro sd and formated internal memory. any other suggestions
i would just run RUU.. if it still giving u problems take it to sprint.. if u runn a RUU and it goes away just root it again start fresh.,. thats what i would do
Thanks EVO. I did end up running ruu and when it completed it started the boot loop again. Almost all night and ended up heating the phone up to the point I just booted into bootloader so it would stop. It continued this morning. But here's the part I wanna know... I pulled the back cover off for sh*ts and giggles and it booted right up. I am actually posting from it. I am afraid to put the back cover on...
Soo... I confirmed it was the back. I used the phone to post that. Made several calls to sprint and talked to ny mother... Phone was fine. Replaced back, phone froze and went into boot loop until the back cover was removed.... Why though?...
soo... it looks like i wont be needing any help with this phone... as it has completely died..... won't even try to power on. well sprint see you tomorrow at noon!

white screen on recovery mode

Hi there !
i'm a complete noob when it comes to flashing and stuff and this is the first time i post on a forum and I've been surfing the net for over 10 years now. goes to show that i really need your help and i wouldn't bother any of you unless I've done everything possible and already shown on the previous posts that describe the same problem as mine.
long story short, 30 days ago I've installed the Lolipop Rom 5.1.1 for my i I9100, and followed every step shown on this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2955551
2 days later, my phone screen start heating up and turned completely white. tried installing the stock Rom, everything goes well, Odin detect the phone the rom gets installed without any problem but as most of the guide says, i need to enter to recovery mode to wipe out all the data and reset the setting to factory mode, but since the screen is still white, i can't do that. is there anything else that i can do to fixe this exept for the Usb Jig thingy ?

Boot Verification Fail

Hey guys, not sure if there was another thread with this issue but I couldn't find it.
Yesterday at work my phone suddenly froze and then restarted into a bootloop and this is what I did:
I pulled the battery out for a good 10 minutes and tried it back again and it was the same thing again with the bootloop.
I tried to put it in Safe Mode and it started up and then after awhile it froze again and jumped back into the bootloop and wouldn't go back into Safe Mode again.
This time I tried clearing the cache and that didn't work.
Next thing I tried was to Factory Data Reset the phone and it came up after that where I had to go through the whole setup wizard and everything like it was a new phone again. But not long after the phone was running fine it started restarting every couple minutes or if I go in What's App or something else.
I figured that something is wrong with the system itself so I downloaded the 22A update for the VS990 on my laptop (where the version 11B was currently on the phone) to try and update it and honestly that was a bad move because when I tried to flash VIA LGUP, the phone restarted during the process and now I'm getting this on at the top left corner of the logo screen then it reboots continously:
Boot verification failed!!
- cause: MISMATCH_SIG_LEN
Can anyone please help me out, love this phone so much and not looking to get a new one or change it anytime soon :crying::crying:
Are you in warranty or have insurance with extended warranty? Sounds like you'll have to contact VZW and get a replacement. Hopefully you're covered.
Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
I'm really not sure as I bought the phone 2nd hand from Ebay, bought it in August so probably., so would have to contact the original owner and see what he has to say. Sigh only if I could get it to stay on the logo screen at least without restarting I could try flashing it again.

Stuck in bootload/"Encryption unsuccessful", how to flash/root/unlock?

Hey,
I'm pretty new here, so don't hate on my lack of knowledge^^
Maybe I'm even in the wrong sub-forum
(I think there was a sub-forum dedicated to moto x, but this isn't a device-specific issue, so here should be fine - no?)
Got the following problem:
My moto x (2nd gen) is stuck in a loop. I get to the logo-screen, then it goes to "Encryption unsuccessful" and when I click "Reset", it restarts and fails upon trying to reset.
How I got here:
1) A while ago I wanted to encrypt the phone for the lulz (using its' own encryption-tool)
Followed the simple steps, as in having it charged up, but the encryption did not go through.
Don't remember having it to reset at first, it just booted, even though it had bugs after that:
-whenever I charged it, I had problems turning it back on after charging, had to turn off and back on for it to actually work.
-those notifications on top which one can normally open via sliding down, that sliding down did not work after that.
Eventually I did a hard-reset and it fixed the sliding-problem.
Charging also worked fine at first until it did not.
2) I ended up stuck in a boot-loop that went to the logo-screen back and forth (got to logo-screen, restarted, got to logo-screen, restarted, ...)
Tried to soft-/hard-reset using the VOL- and POWER combo.
The hard-reset itself threw some errors at me, something like "can't delete [whatever]".
Still, after a few tries it eventually went past the logo-screen to the encryption-step.
After another few failed resets and emptied cache via recovery-screen, it somehow ignored the encryption-step and turned on the phone (was a fresh version).
3) Worked fine for 1 whole evening, no crashes/glitches/anything until I had to charge it up.
Then it was back to the broken state.
Note: during 2) I tried to boot with a custom recovery-mode(TWRP), but couldn't get it running.
Then I tried to flash it, but anything I tried to install failed.
I had my suspicions, but eventually I got it straightened out: my phone isn't rooted, and the bootloader is locked.
I did get the code to root it via some steps and the motorola service, but the code did not work as it wanted me to unlock the phone first.
From what I've read, to do that I need to get into the settings and unlock/root it...
Funny thing: I can not turn on the phone to get into the settings.
So - anyone got ideas?
Warranty is gone since apparently my tinkering with the locked bootloader and unrooted phone still was visible and they voided the warranty.
Not sure I broke much/anything with that, though, since it DID work at some point after that (even if it was for a few hours before needing recharging)
Therefore I'm open to any suggestions since the alternative stop would be throwing it into the bin^^
Can I unlock the bootloader without having a working system?
Can I root it somehow without having to get into settings (since I can not turn it on in the first place)?
I did a fair share of reading, but most times the guides just assumed that I already rooted it, or forwarded me to a guide where it said "go into settings and spam the build to get advanced options, then simply root/unlock that damn thing". Tried to find a way to unlock/root it without being able to turn it on, but did not get lucky with the search.
If I could unlock and root it, I probably could go from there. Guides are pretty specific and seem to work for most.
Also, I would try the original android version first before searching for any custom systems.
(that is the smartest way to do, right? since I'm just a user and dont plan on doing more hacking/breaking)
Hope all that above wasn't too much to read
Thx for any advice in advance.
Edit:
Well, after what feels like 50 restarts it miraculously did not send me to the "Encryption unsuccessful" but instead booted like it should (as a fresh version, though - so had to backup).
Now I've turned on the thing in the settings so next time it breaks, which I expect to happen by tomorrow, I can flash that sucker.
Still - anyone knows how to enable all that stuff one normally does via settings some way that does not involve successfully booting it?
I mean, there should be a way to root/unlock it without having to turn it on first, right?
Edit2:
As expected, the flashing part was pretty easy, so I'm now sitting with a fresh android 6.0.
Two days in and it's still working fine, haven't had any complications (except battery draining faster then at the very beginning, but I think that's due to it hanging too much on the usb-cable during all those sessions of me trying to fix it - and generally I've had it charge over night a few times to often)
Still would appreciate any advice on how to unlock developer mode and usb-debugging within the bootloader or recovery-mode.
