Yes, that goes to any no stock based ROM, or one that require custom kernel.

So if I flashed CM10 and found a lot of bugs, I'll be able to restore my stock Sony ICS ROM and everything will work normally? Sorry I'm really new to this

Just flash the compatible jb kernel and do all the necessary wipes and then flash the rom. That's it.
And for the 2nd question try some yourself. Everybody has their own personal choice.

Now, when i switched ON my mobile, It still remain as SONY logo itself and not even turning ON, pls anyone help me...
If U did try to install JB then U should have unlock Your bootloader. That means You have recovery which is build in kernel, so just copy any other JB ROM and install it. If You did not unlock BL then try flashtool and install ICS, cause JB won't run on stock kernel.
Can you help me with step by step instruction with links... Plz...
there are a lot more information that u should give us in the first place.
like: which rom u want to flash?
bootlodder unlocked?
ur base os?

And I'm using win8.1 now. When i try to install driver, it gives me an error. is that ok? I can also open flashtools

To flash on windows 8.1 is hard. Not sure if you'll succeed. If I were you I'd better try another PC for flashing. I guess without installing the drivers your PC won't recognize the phone and then you are unable to flash the rom!

Like I already told you, I guess you won't be successful to flash it using windows 8.1. You find tons of threads here, where some guys report that problem and I guess there's no real fix until now. Try to flash it with another PC (ask a friend) or try booting an Ubuntu live cd and try flashing it using Ubuntu

Hi mihahn, I have a question and I thought you might know the answer.
At the moment I have Cyanogenmod 9.1 on my Smultron.
I would like to downgrade back to the stock android.
Cyanogenmod is great, but I still miss some features like MobileBRAVIA-engine and not being able to record videos and listen to FM radio.
Do you know how to do that?
Thanks

So you suggest installing CyanogenMod 11.0, is that better than
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270027 ?
Ok so I have checked the mobile and it says bootloader can be unlocked: yes ... I now have an email with my unlock bootloader key.
Is this the suggested rom to use then?

Tbh, i'm new at xperia u. I've had it for the longest time without rooting/unlocking. 4.4 works for me. Sure, i experience bluetooth and video recording issues, but it works for my purposes (stable and fast rom. ART shows noticeable improvements, performance-wise). I'm not saying it's the best choice, just something to get you started.
I think its better to install this. Its better than ICS and bugless.
Or You can install Cyanogenmod 10, if you dont need xperia stuff=) This one is bugless too.
Install any of the Stock JB Rom... Stock JB is surely twice better than Stock ICS and its totally bugless
Note: Unlocked bootloader is required
