Looks like the G3 will be getting some circle lock screen apps. They remind me of the Moto 360 Zooper Widgets we have seen here by Twoms and Niteowl. Check 'em out:

If I'm not mistaken, that's what the lockscreen with the new QuickWindow case will look like.

Makes sense. What I find interesting is that the clocks have a second hand. This can't be done in an app like Zooper. Very cool
I don't see these being very efficient since we have a backlit display (LCD). Stuff like this is better suited for AMOLED displays where apps can partially light up the display while keeping the other pixels off.
Seems these for LCD are just for cosmetics only and you might as well just use the whole screen.
If I'm not mistaken, G2 mods have moved most of G3 related threads/posts to G3 section as it has nothing to do with G2 here.

Whoops, didn't even know there was a new G3 forum yet! Mods, please move this over to the G3 forum if you feel it is necessary :good:
Although, I will say that this doesn't necessarily have NOTHING to do with the G2. We've already seen some users porting some of the G3 UI over to the G2.
There's a thread with all the latest updates being posted here the screenshots you posted were also posted there. Please use the existing thread instead.
Thanks

I purchased the usual ebay model, but it doesn't completely clip into my T-Mobile TP2. It's holding in their strong, but I just don't trust it.
That is very interesting news. Do we really need another thread though?
Edit: Still not closed so here are two suggestions.
1) Try this tread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=580898
2) Check my sig. Hint- click on the blue letters

Well, it's not on all car mounts, it's actually one for the T-Mobile version. The design is difference (doesn't have tapered edges), so I'm pretty convinced that the one I bought doesn't snap in because it's designed for the alternative models. I believe the Tilt2 is designed like the alternative models.

T-Mobile version
Tilt 2 - notice the tapered edges
Oohhhhhhh, my bad. That's a completely different thing altogether. Maybe this link is a better answer for you, http://tinyurl.com/ya47bp4.

It would be except for my mount was found using Google. Clearly mounts made for the alternative model are being sold as T-Mobile compatible when they really aren't.
To begin, a quick note about my absence from the android world.
Over the last year my work load has increased to about 80 hours/week, which I why I never share anything, or post much these days (when the sick/dying/disabled are waiting on my work, I find it hard to do anything else). So anything that I post comes with the disclaimer that I may, or may not, maintain the project (Work>Family>Android). As a side note, I recently won a very prestigious award in clinical science for development of a new method for survival analysis, and determination of treatment efficacy .
Thank you for reading, now on to my themed widget....

What is this?
Since I like the GV widget, but really hate the bright white look of it (especially with an ICS theme), I simply changed a few colors, added some alpha layers (i.e. transparencies), and made it more pleasing to look at. See the image below.

Not yet, but I do plan on theming the entire app.

Crappy intro, what can I say...new clock app, not my design, just found it on the Web and thought it would be cool if I could get it on my phone.
This clock is special (the real version), the hands are in fact batteries and the whole thing moves.

Click here to go to the clock's thread.
Enjoy and don't forget to press the "Thanks" button if you like it.
And say no to SOPA and PIPA!

Any launcher you want, just apply the motorola dock image.
Hello everybody.
As we all are interested in tweaking our phones to their best, we are as well, interested in making them look richer, I decided to start a new thread.
Feel free to post your screenshots here(Cyanogenmod preferrably).
We can thus share better themes and other stuff over this fresh thread!

Why a new thread when there is already one ?
Because the one is quite old.
It may be old, but it still serves it's purpose. Which is showing screenshots of your phone's homscreen(s).

Just join us in "show your display" no new thread needed, Its not an old thread, its how a true thread works..... its updated constantly and if it does go quiet i kindly bump to remind people lol.
Say oooh la la
Just an opinion from a non-themer's perspective (at least not yet lol): I don't really have the time to change lots of stuff on my phone on a regular basis but I like to have a look at some others' screens from time to time. I'm finding it much better if that was in one place instead of several different threads.
This part of XDA's forums is only a small one. We better have 100 threads with traffic rather than 1000 with one post per week
just my 0.02$
I posted this in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 forum, but I think it may be a topic for Samsung users in general, maybe it´s getting more into their focus this way:
I´m sorry if this has been posted before - but I can´t stand the fact, that Samsung shows such a massive effort for software optimizations and special functions, which CLEARLY are pushing the Note III to the top of every smartphone list - while, at the same time, STILL messing around with the restricted grid system in TW.
How can ANYBODY (that keeps an eye on the smartphone market and on the success of alternative launchers) think that a 4x4 grid (- on such a big device with such a great resolution -) is a good idea, looks good, feels good, makes sense or simply is a good choice??
I hate the restriction in general - it shouldn´t be that a problem to simply integrate a "free choice" function into the almighty TW. But hey, you Samsung guys...a 4x4? really?? I even used a 6x7 grid on my S3.
Sorry, perhaps it´s just my mood...
