There is already a ROM out in the Feb section... I think it is still using international version as base though as the phone reboots anytime you mess with an app that uses GPS.

I would just make a thread in the S4 general forum and ask somebody to upload the APKs you want
Get Google Translate, does basically the same thing, but better. I'm sure Samsung will push out a lot of the changes to the Note 2 and GS3, it's just a matter of time.

There were some apps that used to do that but they don't work anymore, AFAIK now days the app has to be edited to not check for root.

Someone here started a thread a while back about the genie app from directv. That app wouldn't work on rooted devices but that guy fixed that. So this could probably be done, just a matter of finding someone that can do it.

I dont know if you guys know this or not, but porting rom isnt easy let alone stock firmware. You realize that not only do you have to figure out what kernel modules are needed, you also have to figure out how to make the rom compatible on a device with slightly different hardware.

It's a test thread, not a ROM thread. Wasn't trying to tease, just get a little feedback. The ROM is nothing fancy, just an odexed base with a few minor mods and scripts to debloat.

I have also read that kingo root may not root 4.4.
I am completely stock minus the root.
Guys got some potential bad news the kit kat update could have changes some crap around on the bootloader Knox so I am going to finish my current thing I got going on for 4.2.2 and then after its done update to 4.4.2 stock and see if it'll work I'm really hoping so
