65 viwes no replys... i just like a yes or no or there is only one cellphone Called Aino that has that feature?
None of those phones has Remote Play with the PS3/4, and, as far as I know, no phone since Sony's Aino and Satio has it. Maybe it'll be added in the future, unless Sony is afraid it'll hurt Vita sales.

Upcoming Xperia Z3 line has PS4 remote play feature. Maybe a waiting game till it gets ported to older Xperias though.
Before the wait is over, don't you think that the whole playstation will be miniaturized onto a xperia handset before the remote play is developed? Which approach makes more sense? My xperia z ultra has quad CPUs, each clocked at well over 2Ghz . Why buy a PlayStation when you can install games onto Xperia. PlayStation is so 20th century, like a DVD player. Why own a DVD player and go to blockbuster to rent DVD when you can play any movie online from amazon? Why bother a PlayStation when you can play the same games on android? Stay on top of technology. Save the money and time to get a life. Go to gym to train and build muscle.
Better yet, why buy a 11 inch screen laptop or PC when the PC can run inside the near-7-inch screen xperia z ultra? Better yet, get rid of cable modem and home wifi using only tmobiles unlimited 4g data. Save the time and go out. I have the instruction in my blog http://nocomputerbutphone.blogspot.com/
.
We android hackers should help one another. Don't fall in the Sony corporate capitalism dead end game. Xperia z ultra has the same 4 CPU arm. Xperia z ultra clocked faster than PS vita. If Sony had released the PlayStation high end games instead of stuffing the 5 dollar pointless games in their download site for xperia, I would have spent my money on that site. Now I spend no money on that PlayStation site for xperia. They lose. No one wins. Don't wait for that playstation remote , my friend. It is backward engineering, anti evolution. Let it die.
Sony has officially made remote play available for any device that runs 5.0 or up.
Can anyone just let me know if there getting the same issue.
I noticed that the z ultra gets the 88001003 Error code. Every other phone it works with no problem. There 0n 5.1 and there older than the ultra.

Although after looking at the leaked specs, the Xperia Play seems like it is powerful enough to play PSP games, I really doubt that would be the case.
If you look at the images on the web, this phone is lacking the joy-stick apparent on all PSP modules.
So, I'm speculating that this phone will only support PlayStation 1 games purchased from the PlayStation store, as well as PlayStation Minis instead of playing PSP exclusive titles.

the long touch pad strip on the phone is suppose to simulate the joystick. this is genius in my opinion, the psp only had one, and now this phone will use this multitouch pad so the user can have 2 joysticks... without having 2 joysticks. i dont think the phone will run umd games but im confident it will play downloadable psp games just fine

So has anyone heard how Sony plans to allow tablet users the ability to purchase playstation games? Or is theTablet S going to be like the PSPgo, as soon as it was released Sony pretty much abandoned it? I wish they would have just made a PSN app for us, that would have been cool.
A couple of posts on Sony's forums indicate that however it will be launched, it will be very soon:

Yeah but keep in mind they are by no means official Sony posts, they're just some guy with broken English.
The Play Statio Store has been released on 10/19/2011. You should have got a notification for you to install it.
Hey has anyone tried the Playstation games yet. The look pretty simple yet but there seems to be hope for the tab gaming future.
I might give it a go when I get home

I'll download syphon filter tonight and try playing it with my logitech remote. Should be pretty revolutionary for the tablet s!
I was a bit disappointed with the PlayStation store. It’s not a bad line up for the first day release, and I will say I am glad Sony is making sure the games are optimized to run on the tablet but I was hoping for the selection I have on my PS3 and even more so to have access to the games I had already bought (like FF7, FF8, Chrono Trigger). I really don't want to mess around with a PSX emulator on my tablet so I am hoping Sony steps up and does some large major releases in the future.
I did find it interesting all the games were branded as Sony Entertainment America Games and I have seen reports Sony is working with the developers to get the rights for other games, But my fingers are crossed for legend of Dragoon.
I cannot use it. When I open pstore it tells me I need to updsate account manager....but when I try to update account manager it says"Purchase cancelled. The item you are trying to purchase cannot be found"

I have the same problem with the account manager. Could it be a location issue
It might be. I'm in ireland

Hi guys,
So yesterday I bought a bran new Xperia T from my local store - fantastic phone, previously had a Nexus S on £15 which worked fine but seeing as the Xperia T can do all that my Xperia Tab S can, do I need both, and so which should go?
It was a considerable amount of money, which I could just about afford but not sure I can justify them both.
I love the Tab S, use it constantly, love the big screen for readng magazines and I'm sure I could get most of the cost back on the Xperia T on Ebay, whats your views?
Thanks.

For me the Xperia link feature would be enough to justify keeping both. I used to own a Blackeberry phone and Playbook tablet and the Blackberry bridge feature was one of the most useful functions when on the road. Wifi is not always available and it is nice to be able to browse the internet using the bridging feature on the phone and it works without having to pay for additional tethering chargers. For me, surfing using the larger screen is preferred. Frankly, I only use my phone to text and talk for everything else I use my tablet. Unfortunately, the phone was not available when I was due for a renewal but as soon as my current contract expires, I will be getting the Xperia T and pairing it with my table S.
Finally, like the Blackberry Bridge feature, the Xperia Link app will continue to evolve. Eventually, you will be able to do more by controlling your tablet using your phone.
Hope this helps!

I was about to take xperia z2 tablet but there are threads in xda supporting the cons i mentioned below , so i myself am waiting.
Xperia z2
cons : slight bend after few weeks of usage , creaking sounds, low build quality, touch screen issues
pros : sleek and light weight , snapdragon 801 , waterproof (low build quality destroys it tho) , larger screen
nvidia shield will be available from 29th july why not wait a week and decide after you read its reviews too.
Things to observe in NVIDIA SHIELD reviews
Heat , battery life , stylus performance , UI lag

My Z2 tablet works like a charm. I have no problems, except of the occasional touch issues. It's not a deal breaker, though. Also I'd simply install CM if I wouldn't be satisfied with the stock ROM.

Don't expect too much of Nvidia:
You can connect a PS3 controller on the Z2, too. I use the sixaxis controller app, but there is an app from Sony installed per default, too.
Almost all Android games are optimized for the Snapdragon SoCs because of Nvidia's miniscule market share. Tegra zone apps are the only ones which are Nvidia-optimized, but lately there were not much new games released AFAIK.
I had the TF201 and TF700. Especially Gameloft games were running on low settings, even back then when the tablet was new. Of course you can try out GLTools, but it's hit and miss.
The shield of course also has its strengths, but don't assume that Android games run better than on a Snapdragon 801.
When I look at Nvidia's track regarding their SoCs, I am pessimistic about their future market share. Hence I expect not much games to be Nvidia-optimized. That's why I wanted the Snapdragon 801 and nothing else.
Of course I dislike monoplies and wish Nvidia the best, but realistically I cannot see them succeeding.

Thx for the balance response, I have not made my decision yet, I have been using Sony for ages, I willing to test something new, the only thing that worries me is the fact that android games aren;t working as great as I would image e.i gameloft. I will not buy it until finishing my master degree, otherwise i will go nuts...
Touch issues pretty much gone after latest update. And I for one have zero build issues. Some people do but what's the bet some people do on the shield as well.
