I have been developing ROMs for my phones for quite some time, but never was able to upload or post because I hadn't made 10 posts. I want to share my ROM in the development section, but need some testers to make sure everything is working well.
I have used this ROM personally now for a week and it hasn't given me any troubles. Those results were for me, so now I need to see how well it works for others.
The idea of this ROM is to get rid of everything that is not essential. Yes, I mean everything. The clock, the calendar, the calculator, the browser and all other features are completely removed. This is a very anti-bloat ROM, perhaps the most extreme anti-bloat ROM of all time.
Anything you want will either have to be downloaded through the Play store, or installed through the APK of the original Samsung apps I will provide. Because of this, the ROM is under 600MB. Yes! It is that small.
If you are interested in being one of the beta testers, I am allowing a limited number of you to try.
PM me if you are interested.
Definitely interested. Which base? NC2 or NC4?

Big thanks for all the testers. I'm closing the testing opportunities now until I make I upload it to the development section sometime next week.
Please report any bugs you find in the ROM, if any, and thanks again for all the volunteers.
Interested, let me know when you open it back up.

This is my kind of rom here... I always debloat an already debloated rom... Can't wait for the official release
This is running GREAT. You need to release this Any plans on updating it to NC4?
Love it as well. Only bug I've found is I can't get junos pulse (vpn app) to work. I restored back to another rom and it started working again. If I figure out what broke it I'll post it.

I have personally had no issues with rotation and no one else has reported any bugs with it, but I'll test it a little bit more before I release.
With regards to the camera, I have taken out some of the special features if that as what you are having trouble with. For example, if you were to go to Mode, and select Drama, that specific mode would not work. If you go into further detail about your issue with the camera I will test it more closely.
I downloaded the game "Subway Surfer" and tested volume control with that for about 10 minutes. I found no issues with volume control in that game. If you tell me what specific game or games you are having trouble with, I will download those and test volume with them and see if I still have issues.
Thanks for testing.

Here's my Meizu M9 Port. I've managed to get most major features working, but it is no way near stable enough for a day to day ROM.
Credit goes out to XxDaLoWeSt1xX and MagnusRagnarok who got this working on the EVO and what this ROM is based upon.

It automatically creates mirrors in major file hosters, but I think you won't get premium points towards your uploads by going this way.

APN properly set for T-Mo

used different firmware in a couple instances
NO ROBO VOICE CRAP
A few other small things, fully up to 1/24 CM7 is another point.
Overall this works better for me than copen's original did.
Why is the file extension .exe?

downloading now.. cant wait to try this bad boy
downloaded. starting up now. will post with any errors.
This is one of the fastest Android systems I've used. It scores 1670 on Quadrant. Ive had tested others which score higher (into the 2k range), but this one just seems sooo much quicker. Only thing I've found that I don't like is that some apps dont fill the screen(the slidelock screen, pandora, speed test). I am not used to such a small dpi and having a case on the phone makes it hard to drag down the notification bar, but that may be from my sausage fingers. Also, I cant seem to be able to pin an app shortcut onto the desktop with a long press. Doesnt seem to be an option for it like other roms I've tried. But so far I am liking it, but it will take some time to get used to.
Edit: I figured out how to drop an app on the desktop. Silly me. Longpress on the app from the menu and simply drop it onto the homescreen. So much easier!!!!!!!!!!
Will give it a spin
Alright glad to see some gb hitting the threads especially on sd --I am running cope's now will give this one a try downloading now its late will work on it tomorrow Thanks for the work
I have installed on my EU HD2 but how to make mobile data working?
Tnx for the build!
Just been playing around a bit on the latest. Incorporated copenhagens fix for su....but I'm gonna give things another go around seeing about getting it perfect....kinda a workaround at the moment.
T-Mobile US users will likely be the only ones capable of using my builds as stated before. Data is working flawlessly in this build.
Tomorrows update will include at least the such fix, Facebook added back in, possible progress towards kineto , and who knows what else.....

Hello,
westerday J install cyanogen mod7 2.3.1 (but bug sms), this morning install this ROM but data not working. SFR in french. Why?
Thankyou.
Yes thats right, Chimera on JB 4.1.2 is been out for while guys and is tje most amazing rom ever in combination of the best roms outhere for jelly bean.
What an odd question.
Dont see it in the dev section.
Chuck Norris loves it
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app
Wow do you guys know about google? Is from Nelson and team passion. As you know team passion doesn't posts there roms here no more and yes not to disrespect anyone but Nelson ROMs are the best right now for vibrant phones
Anyway here is some of the rom descriptions.
**Vibrant Users***
***Chimera 3.0.0***
Lots of credit to give out. The top credit to Cyanogenmod Devs, AOKP Devs, and of course Paranoid Android.
What's Chimera? A mix of you favorite JB ROMs. You have DPI control over apps and ROM. You get the extensive customization's of AOKP's ROM Control. The stability and speed of CM10. GPS is working great too. To set it up just start the GPS module right after boot. You can use Maps or another app like GPS Test to do this. It only needs about 10-15 seconds to initialize it. After that it works after deep sleep. Also, by default, I included the 4.2 swipe to type keyboard. Honestly too much to describe in an OP.
There are some minor bugs. Most of which has a fix.
--Weather panel FC if you touch to update. To fix it select update in short click action. Looking to find how to make it default. The setting eludes me at this time.
--Some mp4 playback stutter. Use MX Player to get smooth playback. Select SW acceleration in the app.
--A new discovery. In System settings>navigation. Color settings don't work and could conflict. Use ROM Control to adjust the color.
Eh that's enough. Explore and discover thing on your own now.
To install from ICS and older JB ROMs
--Place the ROM on your SD card.
--In recovery select the zip from where you put it.
***You may see an error. That's normal. It's warning you that it'll change your file system and wipe everything in the process. Re-install and sit back.
--Flash GApps
--Reboot
--Sign in to Google and go through the motions
--wait about 20 minutes to allow Google to restore apps and stuff...
--reboot again
--have fun
Oh God that's enough. I want to hear what you guys think
I think that Team Passion's Roms aren't at XDA for a good reason, and that this sort of topic really should be on their website, not here.
The god of all ROMs is out...

pretty sure Armv7
http://www.mediafire.com/?hsos53699wq2ttm
that's the google now I flashed. It's not perfect but it was the best one I could find.
You're probably looking at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224
That's where I got it from.
I wish I could get a fully functional version. It's almost perfect, but it's not the updated version, and if you try to exit with the ''back'' button it wont work, only if you hit ''home''
but all the commands and voice functionality work.
Does anybody else have 2 options for Google voice typing under the input method selection screen after installing Google Now? I'm not sure if I did something incorrectly during install or if it should be expected.

I've been working around it without a problem, I just didn't know if it was an error on my part
how many of you are running this? if you are running it do you have cards working?
i've had it and like it (the search part works, i can't add cards)... although it appears a bunch of functions don't work. it appears the easiest solution is for us to wait for JB to come out?
Google now with cards is working nicely on the cm10 preview in the development section. It wasn't working the same way when I was on viper with this version
Sent from my Incredible 4G LTE using Tapatalk 2
Use the app for a while. I felt like I didn't have any cards pop up for a while. Give it a chance to collect data and you'll notice a difference. I've been using it for several months now and it gives me traffic to work smh home, recent places I've shown interest in, train arrival times for the subway and railroad stations I'm near, weather conditions as well as heads up notifications letting me know when I need to leave my current location to make a calendar appointment on time. It really is awesome, but you'll have to give it a bit of time.
This version also has a lot of glitches, like you can't hit "back" out of the app or it will freeze until you do a refresh.
The developers only went so far as to develop for ICS, and then stopped so not everything functions correctly. Just install Cyanogen now that we have it, it works great!
just today it popped up a card for driving directions home and traffic! kinda cool... had the locations wrong so i corrected them. i'll see how it starts behaving - nice to see it's starting to figure some stuff out. it does give me cards for calendar events...
i keep watching the cyanogen thread... i've never run that rom before. i may try it for fun some time although i'm really happy with the viper rom.
I love the cm10 rom. Been running it since the day it was previewed. Google now works great on it. After it learns your behaviors the cards come up all the time for me. It even gives me driving eta to home and work in the notification bar when I start my trips without even opening the search app.

Downloading now... will report back
Already booted and running. Rom is buttery smooth and everything that should be working is working. LTE/Data is functional on the first boot. NFC still borked. GPS locked with no issues. Bluetooth with my Moto 360 appears to be working as it should be. Only thing I've seen so far that's kinda weird is with the DPI. If you look in the top right of the posted photo, the DPI has the buttons in the settings area super tiny. Otherwise it's totally on-par with CM12 right now. Nice work! Can't wait to see what direction this one will go in!
Edit: Instead of saying "no sim card" the lockscreen now says, "SIM/RUIM IS PERSO LOCKED - SPRINT". I find that funnier, somehow. Lol
Question...
Is screen cast broken in all of cm 12 builds? It work from the chrome cast app but not from the pull down
