I enabled google sync but where are media storage and download manager options to enable? after reboot

Fixed For Those Who Didn't Got
Hey, Guys I also tried Thousands of ways to repair this error and I found it
Many ways are there...
1. Disable media storage and download manager and clear data
2. Fix Permissions
3. Reset Android
4. Install any other custom rom
5. Best way I found is to switch Primary Storage to Phone Storage not to SD Card
Please Hit Thanks If it works.....

How do you do this with stock non root LP?
Can't disable media storage or download manager on my LG G3 and it goes back to having the same problem again after rebooting
This problem just started this week. Only recent app I've installed is yahoo mail

Worked like a charm! Thanks a lot!
Sent from my ASUS_Z00A using XDA Free mobile app

Thanks this solve the issue after updating to marshmallow on my v10. For me, Media Storage could not be disabled, but didn't appear to cause an issue.

It's not working for me. What should I do? I am using Lenovo A7000 phone with AOSP 5.0 custom ROM. The only way I guess is a factory reset, but I dont wanna do that. Please help

Helped me a lot, many thanks!

@Jawad Twam

[Q] SL4A + Pyton doesn't work.

Hello
I have started to read "Pro Android Python with SL4A" by Paul Ferril & immediately failed while trying to execute Python script. I'd be very thankful to anybody who can provide a little explanation about SL4A + Python installation process.
So, my steps:
1) I opened this page, read QR code, downloaded and installed sl4a_r6.apk.
2) I opened previously installed SL4A app on my phone, press Menu > View > Interpreters, the list of the interpreters appeared with only one item - "Shell".
3) I pressed Menu > Add > Python 2.6.2, this started downloading of the "PythonForAndroid_r5.apk". I downloaded that file & installed it.
4) I opened newly installed "Python for Android" and press "Install" button in the app. Some components and scripts were installed successfully.
5) I opened the "SL4A" app again, press Menu > View > Interpreters, the "Python 2.6.2" item appeared in the list together with the "Shell".
6) I pressed "Back" button, the "Scripts" screen appeared with a list of scripts with the "py" extension.
7) I pressed on the "hello_world.py", the little pop-up appeared with the buttons "Execute", "Settings" (at least, with the settings icon), "Edit" and so on.
8) If I press the "Execute" button, I get only the black screen with the label "hello_world.py exited".
9) If in "SL4A" app I press Menu > View > Interpreters and the select "Shell" I will get terminal with the Linux Prompt ".... $". But If I go to the SL4A > View > Interpreters and the select "Python 2.6.2" I will receive black screen with the label at the top: "Python 2.6.2 exited."
So, as from the novice's point of view, the Python process is terminated each time I try to start it. What can be done in this situation?

I tried again to install it with the same way, and it's work without any stuck ( few minutes for first time )
i just can't figure out at step 4.
i dowwnloaded the .iso, then did till step 3, and here, once I chose the Remix os.iso file, I got the warning saying 'operating system not found in this .iso file'
any steps I'm missing? Please guide me.
thanks.
(p.s: I'm using the rooted .iso file)

I tried rooted ISO and no luck to get it on virtual machine, but it worked normally from USB, may be this new one will work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-os/remix-os-pc-hacked-edition-ota-v2-0-201-t3345968
Installed as resident, but doesn't finish loading.
I followed the instructions to install resident. Seems to have installed correctly. I couldn't removed the virtual CD from VirtualBox settings so I renamed the iso file. Stuck loading with the Remix OS black load screen. Any ideas?
VirtualBox on Windows 7 x64, followed directions with 16GB hard drive, 2GB RAM on virtual machine.
*Update: It did eventually start up. Works, but slow. I didn't think it would need more than 2GB of RAM. Maybe all try it again with more. It freezes up on my too - becomes unresponsive.
Hi , just did this ... so i thought id share my results to help anyone out there ....
Macbook pro early 2011 i7 Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
I tried many solutions out there to create a bootable USB ,
tried converting ISO to img and unetbootin (no go stuck on android x86 logo on bootup)
tried dd ing the ISO to usb drive ( same thing )
added refind to hidden EFI partition (using linux) and rebooted ( got past android logo - then stuck on flashing remix logo)
hmmmm
So anyways - I have parallels and a windows 10 install - booted windows 10 in parallels and
used the remix USB install tool to install the remixISO to the USB.
then i created a VM in parallels using the method from above posts (Bombo1) steps below ....
1- Install Remix OS normal way (I used windows maybe other way available)
2- Open Parallels > File > New > Install Windows or another OS from a DVD or image file > Continue without a source > > for operation system you will choose Ubuntu Linux or Other linux or FreeBSD (maybe other will work too) > OK > Type the name you want > Customize settings before installation > Hardware >
A- CPU & Memory > Processors: 1 or more (Choose half for first time)
Memory 1024 or more (Choose half for first time)
B- Boot Order > External device > and select the USB with Remix OS pre installed (important)
Then it booted and to my delight worked fine ....
Im yet to have a proper play - but yea
Parallels Tools?

No.
Parallels Tools is a set of drivers, kernel modules and software that has to be designed for the guest OS.
There isn't a set of tools for Android.
Installed successfully on my Mac with Parallels, but it refuses to install MS Word: "Microsoft office apps can't install on this device. This device uses a processor that doesn't meet the system requirements for installing Office." I put 2 cores and 1024 MB RAM.

Tutorial - How to properly install the drivers on Windows 10 (32/64)

First and foremost,
Go to SETTINGS > UPDATE & SECURITY > RECOVERY > ADVANCED START UP > RESTART NOW > Press 7 (Disable driver signature enforcement), then after reboot and it is disabled.
If you cannot understand the above, follow this http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
Install the following.
Download : ADB, Fastboot and Drivers
Available here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
or direct link https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0MKgCbUM0itNVB1elljU2NPR0k
Then the fastboot and everything should work.

Problem Installing as single boot on hard drive

I used this guide to try to install on a mini PC:
Prepare a USB flash drive with Remix OS installed & Boot from USB flash drive
> Choose ‘Resident mode’, press ‘e’
> Delete ‘USB_PARTITION=1’ in the command line
> add ‘INSTALL=2’
> Press ‘F10’ to boot
> The installation will take place automatically.
http://support.jide.com/hc/en-us/ar...all-Remix-OS-for-PC-single-boot-on-hard-disk-
But once I follow the steps and click F10 it takes me to a screen thats says
Android-x86 in the middle and
do_preinstall 2
inst_hd: sda
select_hd:mmcblk0
and it just sits there.
