Do you guys know of any (notification) toggle to quickly disable/enable lockscreen? In the notification panel Android unfortunately doesn't seem to have such a toggle build in. With the previous build, Jelly Bean, some widgets from the Play Store seemed to work, but not anymore.
And perhaps someone knows a good app/mod to put back shortcuts on the lockscreen itself as well?
Thanks in advance!
Dennis
Anyone?
Really no one else is having the same needs for a lockscreen toggle in KitKat?

Hi. It's not that I'm bothered by the icons. It's just seems to come with a whole lot of other mods, as far as I can see. Or am I missing something?
Nothing personal, but I wonder why I seem to be one of the few who is looking for such a toggle . It seems such an obvious need? Haha.

Thanks very much, but what does it exactly do? Regarding the lockscreen, the developer says a few things:
- Lockscreen targets
- Lockscreen tweaks, regarding theming.
- Lockscreen rotation
It does not say anything about a "toggle" to switch it easily on or off. It also needs a framework to be installed, and a lot of other tweaks/mods come with the module, that I'm not sure I would like...Plus, I read in that forum, that the lockscreen features are not working.
Anyway, it's 2014, there's not any solution anymore to just have a widget or something for it? Like with previous android versions?

Gravitybox will allow you to add/organize/customize the quicksettings tiles (like the lidroid from the other post), including a lockscreen toggle. There's lots of other tweaks too, but you don't need to use them if don't want. And yes, you'll need to install xposed framework, but it's easy, there's and app for it (xposed installer). If you're interested, search for xposed or gravitybox threads.
But you just want a homescreen widget/toggle, right? Google "no lock widget".

Thanks. I just generally just don't like installing all kinds of extras, even if I don't use them. A policy that kept my hardware running very smooth, where others suffer from sluggishness.
I am more looking for a widget then, yes. The one you mentioned unfortunately doesn't seem to work... I'll keep looking .

Important: for this module to work you need the Xposed Framework.
I didn't see a module to allow the live wallpaper to show up just like a static one in the recent apps panel, so I made one myself. Should work on 4.0.3 - 4.4.2, but I tested it on 4.4. Let me know if you have issues.

While I'm sure these are possible, at the moment I'd prefer to keep this a simple module. If there's a lot of demand, or I'm in a feature-packing mood one day, perhaps I'll add these. Thanks for the feedback!

I don't see any change. It's not working on my S3. I am on Omega Rom - android v4.1.2.
working flawlessly on xperia z 4.2.2
i got a small request if this is doable... can you make the xperia lockscreen the same as well? cause on the xperias lockscreen we need to choose a separate wallpaper for it.
swipe lockscreen requires a separate wallpaper cause it has the animation.. maybe it is still doable
pin/pattern/ lockscreen requires a separate wallpaper as well, but there are no animations so im wondering if this is doable..
thanks in advance!

Darn, that sucks. Doesn't surprise me that it's incompatible with TouchWiz though. While I would love to provide support for TW ROMs, I don't have a TW device so it's kinda hard. Will try to remember to take a look soon. Does the Xposed log file show an error?
Edit: Just decompiled SystemUI.apk and from what I can tell from the smali (though I'm terrible at reading smali) it should work on your ROM. Perhaps it is conflicting with another module. Again, if there is any error in the log, posting it would be really helpful.

Thanks, works on s4 running carbon rom 4.3, but for some reason "3d live wallpaper" won't respond to sensor movements either in the recents window or on the homescreen. Really nice mod though
I've seen 2 problems with this mod.
First, when entring the recents screen on launcher, there is no animation.
Second, it there is no stat&navbar transparancy on recent screen while launched from launcher.
Edit: There IS bar transparancy

Don't think its very possible to completely in 4.2+ roms, as the battery functions consist of the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk.

That's one of the more desirable features for most, but can't please em all. But without knowing what phone you have, what update it's on, if you have a custom rom or recovery, etc, there won't be a way to even point you in the right direction. There isn't a generic setting to just switch on or off to change this feature as it is themed in the SystemUi.apk and / or framework stuff, depending on what you have.

Well, then that should be fairly easy, as it has the Theme Chooser built in. There are hundreds of themes that will work on that, including ones for CM10, and many have solid status bars. Another option, if you don't want to theme anything else would be using something like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-gravitybox-v2-9-1-tweak-box-android-t2316070
It needs the Xposed Framework:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/framework-xposed-rom-modding-modifying-t1574401
Keep in mind, using ART instead of Dalvik runtime will cause Xposed not to work properly.

I installed it, but I don't see any tweak related with that...
Ok, after you install Xposed, you have to install Gravity Box (KK). You can download from inside the Xposed Framework under Downloads. Once you have the framework and GB installed, you need to make sure under Modules that GB (KK) is switched on, then reboot. After you reboot, everything will be activated and you can go into the Gravity Box interface and under Status Bar Tweaks > Statusbar colors > You can click to enable and set your colors.
There are lots of other cool tweaks that GB has too. Not all of them are compatible with every set up, so make sure you remember what you are trying to enable, so you can disable if it doesn't work the way you are looking for.
If you want to disable GB, if it does not fit your needs, then you can just uninstall the app and reboot, or just uncheck the box in the Modules section of Xposed in case you want to try it again later.
If that doesn't work, there are some other modules that might, like the Xblast one (also in the Download repo for Xposed).

I don't like the Pixel ones but the idea is very nice, just need to find some custom icons to replace in the apk and use those.

Only some of your menus will be rounded Samsung is to far from stock Android-your status bar will not be rounded.

Here is a pick of the playstore...this mod is subtle you will notice it on pop up menus and stuff it may not be for everyone as its not 100% complete . BTW I install all of these first to make sure there won't be any problems. So you can just install it and delete it if you don't like it the zip file is way less then a mb to download.

Introduction
Xettings is a small substratum module for AOSPA. I have tested it on OP3 and 3T but it should work on other devices running PA nougat. Substratum (800+) is must
Features:
- Full control over statusbar clock position (Left/Center/Right)
- Multiple colors and clock options
- Use LTE icon instead of 4g (visual only, doesn't affect speed/network)
- Hide disabled sim icon
- Change QS tiles number (4-8)
- Rounded recents (some substratum themes may override it)
- Hide QS labels (v1.4)
- Added color options for theme engine (v1.4)
Important:
- Installing any substratum theme automatically disables PA color engine. I cannot change this behavior. But you can use Xettings with other themes as long as both themes are not changing the same thing (like Flux changes rounded recents). And K-Klock changes clock.
- This thread is not a place to request features. Substratum cannot add features to a ROM. I have already added whatever is possible.
- This is definitely not a place to rant about AOSPA or PA devs. Take your feelings someplace else.

certain apps available on play store can do it. Substratum cannot add features. It can enable what's already there in rom. For example 4G to LTE in PA is enabled by changing a single bool value. Similarly the code for text clock is already there in all android ROMs. Just need to enable it. But network meter is not in PA. Which means I'll need to edit smali. Its a lot of work for something that can be done via 3rd party app. Also substratum doesnt let us edit smali.

Is it possible to add an option to hide the lock icon from recents? As it seems to be incompatible with apps with long names resulting in an unpleasant look.
Also, since color engine gets disabled when substratum is working (and even when it is enabled it fails to theme every section within the settings app), could you add some action bar and accent color just like in ozone please? That would make this app perfect.
