Settings not sticking when over/underclocking kernel. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

If your were like me and couldn't get your settings to stick check to see if you are using wanams exposed module. Under advanced if you have "enable touch wiz dvfs" checked then uncheck it. Fixed my problem.

Screen always on while charging

On stock ics. If screen turns on while charging it does not turn off again. This started happening some weeks ago, but I can't imagine I did anything.
Any clues?

Well I just solved the problem so I'd be willing to bet you use "extended controls"?

Yes! What is the problem? Just a setting in EC or uninstallation required?

Here's the deal:
The "keep awake"option is part of the stock ics settings but Samsung has removed it, possibly to avoid burn-in effects on the s2's SAMOLED screen. But apparently all they removed was just the option...the"stay awake"functionality is still there, you just don't have a way to enable or disable it.
This means that if you install an app that for whatever reason decides to turn "stay awake" to "on" you have no way to disable it -unless you install a third party app that does exactly that!
Enter extended controls. While I'm almost sure it was THAT update that caused the stay awake setting to change we are in luck because it's the same app that will let us disable it:
On an empty area of your screen long press and add an 1x1 extended control widget. Add the "stay awake" toggle and apply. when the widget appears I'm pretty sure it's gonna be enabled/green.
Click on the widget to disable stay awake and then remove the widget if you want. Done.
Let me know how it works out!

Thanks a lot! Solved a very annoying problem. Great work!
Just cost me a little screen burn in, but not much.

great! Maybe I should contact the developer too...
How do we mark this as "solved"?

I wonder about the "solved" issue too.

Touch light duration?

Not sure what happened but the option for this seemed to have vanished. I changed the duration to 6 seconds but wanted to turn it off since I'm using gravitybox and the navbar.
The option is supposed to be under display, I even can search for it using the menu search option, and it shows there, but when I click to go to the search results nothing shows up

How to activate testing menus on MK2

I'm rooted on stock touch wiz (debloated) on build MK2 but I can't seem get into the testing menu *#*#4636#*#* . I have the hidden menus activated just not this one specific. Is there a way to activate the testing menus on MK2?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303905
It works for me.
This method does indeed enable hidden menus. That's not the issue. The issue is activating the testing menus. You know the menu that comes up when you type in *#*#4636#*#*
