I got a Korean phone SKY IM A690S 2 weeks ago. until now , I can't do anything with this phone , just make a phone call or send message.
As you know , everyone uses smartphone always wants to explore all the features of the phones as well as can cook , can flash new os.
please help me to root, flash recovery flash a new rom .

I know that some of the random non brand name devices I've used, I could just use an adb shell and get root. But this isn't true for everything. As for rom cooking and recovery, that's a whole nother beast.

hi. the current os version is 2.3.4 . you can update by turn on wifi and wait for 1 hour . about 220mb .

I bought this phone today from a guy 2nd handed but 2months old or so...
When i was at home i wanted a costum rom since it was running on 4.1.2 and installing a costum rom was a completely mistake i guess...
So decided to back to a stock frimware which i download from Huawei offical site and put on my SD card dload>update.app after going into recovery mode he loads all the files until system after my phone closes his self and most of time he doesnt go out of boot on the huawei logo for what i waited was 30min 2-3times...
What do i wrong..i've used samsung and that was much easier
Please help me someone whit this problem and i hope i could explain it good

Yeah. U are in the wrong thread. But u can try a smaller sd card. 4 or 8gb. Larger size sd dun play nice when doing updating on ham1.

my phone is currently rooted and bootloader unlocked.. thats why i managed to make a custom boot animation, sound and boot logo as well.
im just using a launcher to tweak my themes and i have to thought to try a rom update but i dont know where to start.
i dont have a cyanogenmod or a twrp coz i dont know what fits to my device?
i know basic C language coz im an IT undergrad, for a start i could adopt a fairly similar language thats all im equiped with and a copy of cygwin and kitchen but i still need guide.

i just bought a samsung S5 sport previously locked on sprint witch i unlock using the metod provided on this thred

Hello guys.. I'm fairly new to this website (registered a few days ago but knew the website for ages)
My cellphone is an Xperia M dual (C2005)....
The thing is, I used towelroot to root because I didn't want to use the adb thingy.. The conclusion is I don't have custom recovery..
Since I want to flash I'm never aware of whether I'm gonna brick or not my cellphone...
So with that being said, I would be glad if someone could link me to a 4.4 KitKat ROM (I want this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2722892), a way to install custom recovery (without fastboot preferibly, if there is a way) and how to backup&restore the data in case of bricks! ... If you could guide me step-by-step, that would be amazing!
