Hi all!
I would like to customize my G Pad with a nice boot animation. Do I understand correctly that any boot animation in 1920*1200 should work, so e.g. those for Nexus 10 2013 edition?
If anybody has a nice one, please share (ideally with a preview).
Cheers,
nurunet

Try this: http://filehorst.de/d/bditsqdw
You'll find the non-flashable bootanimation.zip in the downloaded zip file.

Hey guys....i was wondering if anyone would be interested in making or porting a Matrix Boot animation for the Atrix?
I believe there are a few out there for other phones...
Just thought it would be cool if we could have one.
Cheers
Here is a link to a post where OP uploaded a bunch of different colored Matrix boot animation.

If you know how to push it into the /system/media folder yourself then you can extract the bootanimation.zip folder from the cwm flashable .zip and change the resolution in desc.txt from 480x854 to 540x960
if you do notknow how then either post back or PM me and I will do it for you and upload.
I might look at adding audio to this when I get home.

Hey guyz i have ported the Modern warfare 3 boot animation avalaible for various smartphones. Now you can have it on your galaxy 5 as well.
How to
1) Download the boot animation from this link (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CT3ND1C8)
2) copy it to your SDCARD root (copy as it is please do not extract)
3) Use root explorer to paste this file in System/media folder (remember to mount as r/w)
4) reboot and enjoy.
I am willing to port many boot animations if my work gets acknowledged so please hit thanks button if u like my workd and do post with any requests of boot animations to be ported.

You need a custom rom to do this and also need to name it 'bootanimation' and rename the default one 'bootanimationOLD' (or similar) for it to use the custom one?

see the link in my signature..
Note: This bootanimation is only for galaxy y / duos or any other mobile with same resolution.
Guys, I have created new boot animation (with boot sound added) featuring V for Vendetta.
In this animation V's dialogue "People should not afriad..." shows up in typing style and increasing opacity.
Part of music by Dario Marianelli-Knives And Bullets (And Cannons Too) is used as Boot Sound.
Just flash the zip file "V_sound.zip". If you dont want sound, flash "V_only.zip".
If flashing fails, use manual method using root explorer. Separate "bootanimation.zip" is attached.
Hope you like it!
You can share or reuse it anywhere. Just give creditz and link.
If you like it, kindly press thanks button!
Here are some images of bootanimation.
Please try and tell me how it is.

Very thanks for trying it.
And thank you that you liked my work.
Hi guys, I posted this in the AT&T G3 forum so i figured i would share it with you guys as well.
I ventured over to the OnePlus forum, and got the clean new boot animation zip from the CM12S update those guys received today.
Thanks again to sdmackie for that.
IMHO It looks a lot cleaner than the CID animation.
Here's a link to it. Just rename it "bootanimation.zip", and enjoy.

nice bootanimation :good:
Yes, looks nice! Thanks for sharing. Might have to temporarily replace my stock Android (default boot animation with no file) one.

Most original bootanimation.zip files exist at root/system/media/. I forget if you have to set permissions. I'd assume yes. Just check the permissions of the original bootanimation.zip file and set the replacement one's permissions to the same thing AFTER you copy it to system/media/.
