Long press notifications - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, I've had my nexus 4 rooted for a couple months now and it's amazing but I'm having a problem when I long press notifications, nothing happens. Normally I have "app info" and "open in halo" but nothing pops up at all.

I had the same problem while using xhalo with xposed 2.6.1. If it's the same for you, try the fix version from xhalo thread.

I'm so torn!!! Black dot!

What is the little black dot on the top of the bezel next to the headphone jack? I can not figure it out for the life of me.

And I'm not talking about the mic, I'm talking about the bigger one above the front cam, on the bezel.

That's pretty sweet! Any other gems I need to know about aside from the air gestures?

I personally love the voice commands. You can say "Snooze" when the alarm goes off and it'll snooze. If someone calls, you can just say "Answer" and it'll put it right on speakerphone. If you're in the camera, you can just say "Cheese" or "Shoot" and not have to hit the screen and cause a blurry shot.

Yupp use the watchon app prey easy setup.
As far as everything else, spend 10 minutes watching an in depth review on YouTube and you'll see everything you can do.

The S4 has has a built in thermometer... There are apps in the market that work with it...or you can use the app called S Health on your phone. With the latest 4.3 update you can now use the Galaxy Gear.

Are you sure the Sony UI is fully supported by Xtheme? I don't use it myself, so this is only a question.

I dont have this particular problem but rather to getting it to work.. sometimes I just give up and one day all the sudden the xposed framework is activated. It started to work last week on my device after just having it installed for a month.
Before this happened on my One X too.

Strange that it's intermittent. Have you tried to just use one module at a time to see if there's any conflicts?

You can hold the Home and Lock button at the same time or you can palm swipe the screen in both directions. For the palm swipe you need it enabled in Settings -> My device -> Motion. You can alo try it out there to see how it works. I prefer the first option since the second one doesn't cooperate every time.
Power key + Home key pressed at the same time ...

Home button problem?

Every time I press the home button it brings up the recent apps/task manager multitasker window. I click it once for a split second and it brings it up like it would if I held it down for five seconds. This has been happening for about a month now and I have no idea why. Plus I notice that when I turn off the screen it lags for a second too. I'm on build MJ7 and I'm rooted. Yes I have tried turning the phone off and clearing the memory, along with setting processes to the lowest amount but nothing works. Does anyone know what it is or how to fix it? Thanks.

How?
It comes like that out of box. Just say OK google from the home screen
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Ah it's from the search widget. There is a way to hack svoice always listening so it launches Google now when screen is off
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah that's with the exposed module

I can't get s-voice to recognize my start command. Screen on, off, nada. Does yours work?

I saw that out of the box, but when I switched launchers and put the search widget back on it seems you lose the hotword detection. Can anyone confirm? I'm guessing they built it into TW ala GEL
