I am getting error with whatsapp when trying to send a pic taken from the camera which is big in size like 1+mb.
I have deleted all the data from the folder still the issue persist.
Please note sending smaller pics have no issues

As per the subject, I'm having trouble uploading a photo onto my Whatsapp profile. Keeps saying 'Failed to upload Image data' Try again later'.
Can anyone help at all please. I've tried loads of things to no avail.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Prevail the model number is SPH-M820-BST and I am having some serious problems with my phones ability to copy SMS text messages to my computer or send them to my e-mail. I am having some problems with my land lord and I am trying to get a record of the text messages that she sent me but they are not copying properly, all of the messages copy except for a couple of really long important ones that she sent.
These are the programs that I have tried so far, SMS to text, Super Backup, SMS Backup+ (e-mailed to my gmail), SMS backup & restore. All of these programs have the exact same problem where they copy most of my texts except for a couple of the same really long ones that she sent. One thing I noticed is that for some reason my text messages are usually limited to 200 max per contact but for her its now at 207.
These text messages are really important for me to get my security deposit back and chances are I'm going to have to use them in small claims. I've tried everything to no avail, maybe I should use screen capture software? Or maybe even put my phone into a photo copy machine?
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Sometimes a picture I receive through text shows as corrupted, but I can view a thumbnail version of it in the gallery, but when I go to open the image full res it shows as corrupted again.

It seems the MMS on this phone is a bit quirky. I was previously using Textra and had noticed that some people could not receive my pictures. On an iPhone it gives a message about message being too large and on an s3 the image is received as a sound file. I uninstalled textra and went back to the stock messaging app. The stock messaging app says the file is to large or other error. Seems to be quite a nonspecific error since the images are only 10 to 30 kb. I tried taking a screenshot and sending the screenshot, but the app refuses to resize the image and gives up saying it is too large. Has anyone else had these issues?
To anyone who may find themselves having a similar issue...
EDIT: The cause of the problem seems to be Chrome's Reduce data usage feature. Disabling it will fix the issue, though you will need to load a new tab to initiate it.

I am running whatsapp version 2.21.11.17. I have whatsapp setup as a duel messenger. On my duel messenger version of whatsapp, recently i have not been able to perform the following
1) No Gifs can be sent on the chat. I just get the retry icon
2) I cannot take a pic from my chat, when i try i see a message saying that the file format cannot be supported.
3) Any pics i receive, they are downloaded, but i cannot see them in my samsung galaxy app. I have the media visibility option enabled.
I cannot not see any of the downloaded pics in the following location.
Phone\DualApp\Android\data\com.whatsapp
I do not know where the duel version of the whatsapp is storing the pics from my chats.
Any ideas what could be causing this.

It is not how you are using it, but the app itself after the latest update. I am on a Google Pixel 4 Xl (BUT also my 3 XL has the same issue you noted) and I also can no longer find or see the "WhatsApp" media folder under my SD after the June 9th update. I do not use anything but WhatsApp for WhatsApp messages, and Google Messenger for TXT/MMS and its always worked fine without issue and my media (pics/videos) from WhatsApp used to show on disk (SD) as /WhatsApp (/ = ROOT of my internal SD). My WhatsApp media location (which is nothing more than a folder called WhatsApp on the internal SD root), used to be there until I updated to the latest update on June 9th, 20201. Now its gone and I cant find it anywhere but I need to know where it lives so I can move and backup pics of my family.
I emailed [email protected] the same question, WHERE DID IT MOVE TO with the latest update?! If/when they reply (or if someone else here knows the answer), please chime in or I will post their reply (if they do reply)!
