Hi when i had a galaxy S3 I was subscribed to a thread in the themes section that had an extensive list of ported apps like launchers, cameras, sms apps etc.these were ported from various phones that could work on other phones. If anyone is still subscribed to that link, Could someone please provide it as after searching XDA, which I know is a major rule, I can't find it. Cheers!

I have recently discovered that I would love to start developing Android apps as a hobby and I have completed this set of lessons - http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/creating-project.html - successfully but now I want to learn more.
If anybody has any "making of" videos/series of people developing apps (in Eclipse) then please can you link it here.
Thank you.

Did you already go through all this tutorials http://developer.android.com/training/index.html?
wow cool. Didnt know that they offer such Lessons. Just always get redirected to the API. Did someone really made all the Trainings before creating Apps? I dont think so but its a very good starting point

I would recommend taking a look at The New Boston android app development series (http://thenewboston.org/list.php?cat=6) it covers everything from essential basics to more advanced topics like databases and using OpenGL, among other android development topics.

Hi everyone, very sorry if this has been asked a lot already. I'm finding it very difficult to search for a regularly updated inverted apps thread (4.4) on my phone. So please don't moan! If anyone knows of one please share it with me. I'm using Google edition of 4.4 on S4 i9505. I've looked at the blacked out team thread and app but it seems to have been abandoned.
Also, for to avoid making and more threads. Is their a method to find exactly what you're looking for via the xda app search function. I only ever get results for ROMs (on other devices) that been viewed a lot. Its like its not searching for relevance but instead, showing me the most viewed
Thanks in advance.

The Blackout app isn't perfect but the apps are still being updated. There's also this.
Yep, team blackout is what I'd suggest too

Even searching for the name of this title in Q&A shows me no results.

So since the S5 port ROM thread was closed, is there anywhere else I can get support for the ROM?
Xda doesn't allow linking to other rom sites but if you do a google search for Sacs_S5_Rom exactly like that you'll find what your looking for.
