My X10i Turns off by itself - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed my x10i with MOKEE 4.2.2 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686110 ).
Now whenever I start an application, the phone turns off on its own!
I noticed that when the app tries to use WIFI connectivity, the shutting down problem occurs!
I did the wipe stuff from recovery, and the problem is still on!
Would you please help me fix the problem !
Thanks in advance

Ok, I tried many things such as wiping data and stuff... I said it didn't work.
But when I flashed GAPPS 4.2.2 Minimal ( @ goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps/4.4.2//5-22_GApps_Minimal_4.4.2_signed.zip ) after restoring/wiping ofc... the problem seems to have been solved... for the time being!
If anything happens after this, I will update it;
I don't know if I should edit the post's title to [SOLVED]..
Waiting for other members replies!

Wifi/GPS connection problem on Android 2.3 (GingerDX)

Hi, guys!
(I searched on the forum but I didn't find any answer)
I'm new here and I'm using a doixanh ROM, GingerDX (but I already used Froyobread).
So, some time ago I had a problem...I couldn't connect my device (Sony Ericsson Xperia X8) to wifi.
What I did? I full wiped the phone...and that fixed the wifi issue.
But now I have the same problem...I can't connect my phone to wifi anymore!
I could do another full wipe, but this problem would just appear again and again...
I googled for some fixes and I found some answers...one of the solutions would be deleting one file (dhct or something) from the phone...the problem is: I don't have that file...
Another guy said (on a youtube video) to download an "hot fix" package with 3 files and place them on the phone...but the link that he gave is broken and I couldn't find those files on the internet.
So...can someone help me fixing this problem...?
NOTE: Like wifi, my phone's GPS doesn't work too.
Thanks in advance!
[sorry for my bad english]

Have you properly flashed the custom Rom into your phone..? I think that you should flash stock rom first into your phone and see if that fixes your problem...
I had same prb with WIFI and Bt also cannot be turned on any more[/URL] I tried: (Flashed GDX 17 about 4-5 days ago)!
1- FULL WIPE
2- Flash back stock rom
3- Fix with PCC
4- Fix with SEUS
check this for more info and if there is any thing could help you fix your prb
BUT nothing works
Now I'm on stock rom and my fu**ing WIFI and BT not working.
(damn even SEUS and PCC does not fix my porblem)???

I have the same problem after flashing but my wifi just says error and no mac add avail. for the wifi i have reloaded stock and for some reason my wifi driver is not loadin and same thing still
I would try to update the radio. Look in this forum for the latest radio for your device.
But be careful, read the instructions, otherwise you would brick your phone!

[Fix] Phone Force close bug

Hello evryone
I'm new here and may have a problem with my SGSII.
i read some information on the forum and internet, but don't found the way to fix it.
I was in KH3, and all was near fine.
I wanted update my phone to a newer version, so i used odin, and folow the rules on the thread of official roms. I've choosen XWKJ2, the last official rom.
So evrything was fine ( win7 64bits ) and odin ( 1.85 ) was green, the phone reboot, then my phone say me << he's sorry to close the 'com.android.phone' process>>. And he say me that in loop ever i click on, i have just to wait 10 sec, to get an other sorry msg. And even call anyone, it's fresh booted ...
i tested KK5 and KL1, i have the same too ... ( tryed reboot and killing data of sms and calls too ).
So, i've seen this page that may solve my problem, i'm not sure at all.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1157934
but it's not explained ( maybe i didn't see it ) how install that, and if it could solve my problem.
And thank you all for the job is done at XDA, i learn some nice software things.
A french hardware guy ( sorry for my poor english )
The thread you are referring to requires your phone to be rooted, also the warning in the first post states:
Quote:
Please install that fix ONLY if you are experiencing phone.apk FC during the call while screen is off and when the other side hangs.
On some devices that fix can bring to boot loops and any other malfunction.
So, how to fix my phone and go up to date with an official build ?
Phone XXXKH3
CSC XAKKH3
Thank you.
Have you tried rooting your phone using cfroot?
Then if all is working go back to the stock firmware you want?

[Q] about wifi problem

i installed cyanogen 7.2( the newest ) on my galaxy 5 i5500
but i turn on the wifi, it will auto close(the wifi is on but there is no wifi icon on the status bar and cannot browsing internet anymore, it is needed to restart the wifi(close and open again)) after i locked(blackscreen) about 5min
it is a big problem when i downloading some apps from market (my line is slow about 40kb/s only) therefore i needed to wait it but it is auto close.....
hope u understand what i m saying, because my english is bad and i m from malaysia
If you have the problem only when you have installed the cyano rom, try to do a wipe data and a wipe cache and re-flash the phone with the cyano, remember to install also the latest hotfix for the version that you have.
I have the same problem with official I5503TTLPJP9 ROM (Telstra).
Need to switch WIFI off and on again every time I need Internet access. So annoying!
i have the same problem it is so annoyig
Same here
I'm getting the same WIFI problem here, except that if I'm downloading something, it won´t turn off. But if I lock the screen and leave it alone, WIFI won´t come back on until I turn it off and on again.
I'm using CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC0 v1.9.
Any hints?
I have the problem that it just shuts down without any reason
as far as i know.
if you go on lockscreen for a while it shuts down too.
but try downloading "blade wifi fix" from the android market.
it might help. because it auto refreshes your wifi
when it shuts down with some reasons in particular.
first thing to try when you encountered those kind of issues is Wipe wipe wipe wipe..
only when you already did it you could try to ask forums for help..
The new WPA-Supplicant download could solve this?

Flyer reboots trying to connect to WIFI (Honeycomb)

Hallo,
I need your help. I have a german Flyer wifi/3g with official HC OTA.
Once, trying to connect to WIFI, it rebooted. After that every time I tried to connect it went in reboot immediately after\at the stage <retrieving IP adress> I did hard reset and it has helped for some time, then the problem returned. I did not want to do a HR again and I put the Flyer through a series of reboots, changing some settings in connectivity section and that helped. But I have fear, that it can repeat.
Is there any solution? Has anybody heard of such behavior?
P.S. I saw the description of the same problem on one forum, but there was no solution for that. But it shows, that I'm not alone
Thanks in advance
Denis

[Q] Xperia U (Wifi turned 'ON' = boot loop)

Good day mates. I have a problem with my XU; whenever I turn on the Wi-Fi on my phone, it gets stuck on a boot loop. May it be on a stock ROM or a custom ROM (ICS, KK, et al.) I've yet to try GB.
I've read several threads in XDA and Google about this and no one has provided a fix or a diagnosis. There is quite a lot of issues like mine not just on the Xperia U, but other Xperias as well. Could this be a hardware problem? Does anyone know where can I locate the file responsible for WiFi so it doesn't get turned on accidentally and having to reflash the whole ROM again?
Thanks fellow XDA members for your future responses!
Finally fixed this weird WiFi bug. I just flashed stock GB. At first when I turned on WiFi, it showed 'Error', but when i tried it again, it turned on, and Bluetooth also worked fine!
Then I thought if I flashed stock ICS and/ir flashed a KK/LP custom ROM, the bug may return. But fortunately, it did not. Hurray for GB firmware! Hope this fix will help others. )
