Hey does any else have a lenovo ideatab a2207a-h dual sim device? I can't find any manuals for it on the lenovo official site. I wish to root it but I'm not certain whether the instructions for the a2107 will work on this particular device. I am awaiting more information before I proceed with rooting this device. In particular I want to know the chipset in order to download the USB drivers for it.
Help out,please.

Hi all,
The warranty for my tablet has expired and I decided to go ahead and root my device. I found that most guides to root Lenovo Ideapad K1 tablets online have broken download links.
Is there anyone that can help me root my device OR is there anyone that knows of a guide without broken download links that can help me root my Lenovo Ideapad K1 tablet?

Hi everybody,
I'm new of this forum, i hope to don't break any rule (I readed it but it's better to advide in any case )
I was wondering how could be possible to port the VIBEROM 4.4.2 for the LENOVO S930 that I found on this discussion to our device.
The S930 has a different processor MTK6582, but in this discussion i found a CM11 working with an MTK6589 for another phone
So, if it's possible to have 4.4.2 on an MTK6589 processor (for another phone), and we already have a Lenovo Rom for a similar phone (the resolution is the same), is there any possibility to find the driver for the MTK6589 processor and replace them ont he VIBE ROM for the S930?
Mine was just an idea, i'm a noob here and more even noob in porting roms, but i found discussions on this forum about porting roms from devices of the same manufacturer and with the same resolution is quite easy (and other information here)
Someone have any clue about that?

Hi guys, my friend has a Lenovo s960 and the standard software on that device is, well...after he has seen my nexus, he just wanted something more simple
So is there ANY custom rom, or maybe some lollipop roms? I found some on the internet but couldn't download the rom because all of those sites requre survays and such, you know how it is. Please help me with this
Hello,
I currently own a Allview X1 Soul. It is the same with Gionee Elfie and many other phones. None of this phones has an official kitkat release. I've been searching the internet for a custom kitkat rom. Nothing found. Yesterday I found out that the Lenovo S960 has the same specs as allview x1 soul. ( SAME PROCESSOR SAME RAM SAME EVERYTHING). It seems that for the Lenovo S960 there is an official release of Kitkat 4.4.2.
Now my question is:
I have the files of the Lenobo S960 and I need to flash the files. How can I port this files to my phone? Can I just directly flash them?
The porting tutorials doesnt help me very much as the files are not .zip (rom).
If anyone has any idee, I would be very greatfull.
Hi,
Have you managed to make it work?
I'm also trying to update my android on an Allview x1 Soul phone. Any info would be helpful from you side if you managed.
Thanks
Cheers
Hey there, I am newbie to rooting. Most of the posts I have come across specify Lollipop requirement.
How do I root the phone from the kitkat itself? Please tell me the simple step-by-step procedure to root.
I have heard of Kingroot, but some users have posted saying that it's impossible to unroot lenovo a6000 plus if Kingoot rooted it
Help, please!
