hey whats up everyone.
Does anyone know how to turn off the task bar? When you click on the battery or new message Icon or Signal Strength it brings you to another page and then you choose which Icon you want I.E. message/Battery level/Comm manager). I turned it off on my Diamond but I cant remember how I did it and would really like to on my Pro. Its really annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Here
Settings>System>Task Manager>Button
Then uncheck both entries.
Whoops
Misread what you were asking.
Go to
Settings>System>TouchFLO Then uncheck the bottom checkmark.

Is it possible to disable the Lock screen altogether, or at least disable it when connected to your home wifi network? I've tried the "Unlock with Wifi" app but it doesn't seem to work on the S2

Eh? Ripple lock just added a 2nd level of lock (the opposite of what I'm looking for), and the 2nd link pointed to some irrelevant search results. Am I missing something??
No Lock ain't bad but no it won't unlock when connected to WiFi.

I already tried No Lock but it doesn't stop the default lock screen from appearing (the one that you have to swipe to get rid of)
???
^Right.
Delayed Lock is also there.

the second link with all the search results was for you to actually go through and see what other people had the same problem as yourself...rather than waiting to ask for people on here to reply for you i thought i do the search for you and see what comes up, and you can see other peoples opinions and recommendations that they left on other peoples threads thats all..
apologies for the first link just thought if you try that it might of helped...what about widgetlocker
Edit: forget about widgetlocker that wont do it for you...
Check the search result link that i gave you and just read about what other people suggest in the other threads
Hi,
My gf's Atrix started acting funny (and she obviously claims there's nothing she had done...):
It appears to have some sort of layer over the screen which displays the touch screen coordinates and the trail of each touch.
Scrolling between screen has slown down at times.
I looked for any strange application, but couldn't find anything.
Using Atrix 4G + CM7 7.2
I'm attaching a screenshot of the home screen (look at the top of the image), which came out blurry...
Anyone?
Thanks!!
Its the Dev Tools app. Open it and it's called pointer location but I don't know why its permanent. Does it stick on reboot?
I'll ask her to take a look.
It does stick on reboot though...
Really odd. What version of cm7 is she running? Stable, RC1-3, or one of the nightlies?
Settings-Developer Options-Pointer Location. Turn that off.
She can't find Developer Options under settings.
Is it under some other category within settings?

Ah, yes, sorry, my bad. That's where it is on CM9's settings. It's been a while since I've used CM7, but IIRC it was in CM Settings-System-Dev Tools-Dev Settings-Pointer Location.
Solved
Worked!!
Thanks alot!
Every time I have to enter PIN, then click OK to log in. It would be nice if the system logs me in without me clicking the OK button, like in iPhone. It is not a big deal, but it would be nice to have it.
Thanks for the hard work,
Jeffrey
NVM, I just found out all I need to do is to check Quick Unlock option in the Lock Screen section.

I just thanked you for this one, since you can't thank your own posts on XDA. Also, very classy to leave your post up, along with the solution, so that others can find it via the search function. Welcome!
Dear experts and users,
I flashed the Omegarom v24 on my i9100. (the best rom in my opinion and I need mhl support).
I used to have access to the applications thanks to the lateral ribbon on the left of the home screen.
I don't know why but it disappeared.
Can anyone tell me how to reactivate it?
Thanks and regards,
X.
1. First: You can't start a threat for ask that. You should post in omega threat.
2. If you refer to multi window quick start it is an option in omega settings to enable "back to kill" button. If this option is enable then the multi window access by holding the back button is disabled. Disable this option.

Hi,
My apologies for using a wrong thread: I can not post on the omega thread because of my lack of seniority.
I am referring to the ribbon on the left of the following picture :
omega-roms.net\/Photos\/xda\/I9100-03.png
I've lost this ribbon.
I tried what you mentionned but it makes no difference.
Thanks and regards,
X.

Sorry for delay in answer. Yes, that i was talking about.
In Omega settings > Kill apps button > check disable, then reboot.
After reboot, you can make appear that ribbon by holding pressed "back button""
All the best!
