You can use gravity box and xposed
You need root though

I also wanted to know this
but I'm not ready to root my phone as of yet!! I'm too chicken sh*t!!
On an unrelated note (or related to the navbar), can anyone tell me if it is possible to have a transparent navbar on stock UI with no root/unlocked bootloader? I tried using Nova and google launcher but both seem to have a blacked out navbar but transparent notification bar.

You can try using Xposed Framework along with Xblast tools, that may be able to solve your problem. I know that with xblast tools you can add text to the notification bar and move the clock to the middle om the bar, so maybe you can change the icons distance.
Is there an app that puts navigation buttons on my screen? Mine were disabled during root and stuff... I don't want to fix the hardware ones... I just want buttons that are always on the screen. The app I have right now just uses a small icon that you press every time you want the buttons
And isn't there an app that blocks ads everywhere?
Thanks... Lol

Here's an ad-blocker:

as for your button, I think that maybe a framework modification may be needed. (unless there's an exposed module for it)

Hi,
I flashed the Note 3 Launcher, the original one I previously had on 4.3 had the ability to hide apps in app drawer, but the N3 one doesnt. Can someone guide me on how to hide them without an app? Or can someone modify it?
Please I dont want another launcher, just the N3 launcher with this ability. Thanks

No frikin idea why they got rid of that...there's like 10 apps I always hide from the drawer...I'm using the LG G2 launcher till that feature is brought back..its pretty solid. Except for the lock screen settings which don't work.don't need em anyways since the functionality isn't there.

That doesn't hide apps... it disables them (and hides them). We need something that only hides the app for example I want to hide the SuperSU app, adaway app... which Samsungs built in hide apps allowed us to do.
Here's the note 3 twizz launcher with blue text by Claude. It has the ability to hide apps as well. If not you could always use nova launcher

Hi Mate ,

I am trying to find the system app that is brought up when you hold down the home button. It is like the "recent apps" page or multitasking page with all the different apps open being shown. I would like to make the status bar transparent for that page so I need to first find that system app in "tinted status bar" (xposed module). Do you guys know what the name of the "recent apps" application is?

I'd imagine that since Surge among many other things also makes ROMs that it's not called something else... Instead that xposed mod just doesn't show you that for whatever reason ya know??, probably not capable of theming anything to do with recents. Someone correct me if I'm wrong of course

First of all I love this device. Had the s5 and the m8 and this one is overall the better device. Anyways, the notification bar has Google search and Sony app which is annoying and the app switcher comes up a little slow and has those small apps. Anyway to fix these or do I need root for that? Thanks.
Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
well you need root to change that
you can edit it via an xposed and an xposed module by the name of gravitybox
the app switcher is slow snd i dont think that can be changed

I was able to uninstall the small apps in the recent apps panel with titanium backup. No issues, but it isn't that much faster.
