My phone Ktouch W700 has dual core chip Tegra 2 but it's still using Android 2.2 Froyo.
It has some custom ROM but they're all Adroid 2.3 GingerBread, not higher.
Can someone help me for cooking ROM ICS or JB for Ktouch W700, please?
The producer of Ktouch promised that they would realesed stock ROM 4.0 in July, 2012. But until now nothing happens.
This phone use the same Tegra chip with LG Optimus 2x, so can you guy use the stock ROM ICS of LG P990 for cooking?
Tks so much
I'm using Jiayu G3S. Almost topics I've found use CM/AOSP as based rom,but this phone doesn't have any CM/AOSP roms. Only have stock rom (android 4.2.1 .zip file). So, how can I successfully port Lewa/Miui rom to my device?
P/S: I've tried to port by doing as some topics but still got stuck on logo.
Hello there.
I recently changed my device from a Xperia X8 to the new LG L4-II (E440), but i noticed that development for these new LG devices is almost nowhere to be seen because of its Mediatek hardware (at least that's what devs complain about)
I used MiniCM10 on the X8 (JB 4.1.2) and noticed that both of these devices have the same resolution (although the LG has a bigger screen), so my question is:
Since both devices have the same resolution, and both Roms are Jelly Bean 4.1.2, is it possible to use the UI files from the custom Rom in Lg's stock rom, (SystemUI, framework-res, stuff like that) without bricking the software?
LG doesn't have a custom recovery and both phones have very different hardware, so porting the Rom for me is out of the question, i'm no developer... but since they have the same resolution, it would be fun to merge some CM flavour into the stock rom.
Thank you guys in advance.

no..bro yu simply cant copy the ui files for another rom...dey wont work... U may end up soft bricking or bootlooping ur device...
Yu must port it for ur device
and another thing yu cant simply port cyanogen from another phone to a mediatek device...it will never work....(may cause hard brick also)
only roms of mediatek can be ported for mediatek devices dat also the chipset should be same (like mt6577 to mt 6577) or (mt 6589 to mt6589) not from (mt6577 to mt6589) and vv
hit thanks rather typing
Anyone can change the UI without root, just install nova launcher, sun beam live wallpaper and a custom notification bar from the play store.

i want to ask you that i started cooking roms using android kitchen for my s duos.. but i want to know tthat how to port UI of other rom to my rom..
waiting for reply
Is there any custom rom for lgp875h?
I'm in Brazil and I did not find any for this device.
Was using cyanogenmod 10.0 in P970 which was fantastic, and now that we have the antiquated interface device from LG.
Again, this device is 4G, do not know if because it has no rom.
I used Pimp My Rom app on P715 kitKat to enable the hidden NavBar,probably it works with JellyBean, the Single SIM versions, and maybe even some of the other L"X" II devices, but some may find this useless because of the Hardware buttons.
You can find the Pimp My Rom beta on the Play Store.
But pimp my ROM needs busybox and root, how nave you rooted The smartphone? Flashing a kdz?
Sorry for my very bad english
devices: LG l3 ROM optimus 1.5 (4.0.4)
LG l7 2 ROM stock (4.4.2)

I have flashed my P715 with CWM
Do you have a themr for this navbar? I'm will change it to black, but I need theme.
I don't have a theme and I don't think there is because LG doesn't support navbar on this device.
@dlcgold, if you still want root l7II with kk, read this:

Nav bar can be enabled on almost any device by adding --- 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=0' to build.prop and leave at least last 2 lines empty.
Navbar is also avaible w/ GravityBox, broked my physical navbar and works well
