I cannot move Asphalt 8 into the SD card. Though the device says the app is installed in the sd card, but storage shows internal memory is totally occupied by asphalt 8 and there is nothing in the sd card. any idea how to free the internal memry and move it to sd card?

Unfortunately some apps cant be moved to SD card. I guess only rooting can move all apps.

you will need root acces for moving game data to sd..
Some apps like GL to SD ,Link2sd, mount2sd can do it..
ive used foldermount to successfully run the game at medium settings without any lag.. it requires root though so if your phone is not rooted you wont be able to use the app.

Hi guys,
I have many Gameloft games and apps and I'm looking for the best way to move it to the external memory (I have a 32GB Class 10 MicroSD card).
Thanks
Try apps2SD from market.
Thanks, but it can only move apps from the phone memory to the internal sd and not from internal sd to external sd...
Did some one try this app by any chance ?

I want to move some of my apps that on my internal sd to the external sd... the apps2sd can only move apps from the device memory to the internal memory...

I am unable to move my apps from phone memory to SD card.
I have 64gb Sandisk Class 10 memory card.
I dont get any options to move them to sd card in the app manager.
I also installed app2sd application but it says my phone doesnot have a real primary source of memory or my memory source is emulated.
How do i transfer ?? I have these 2gb and 4gb games which i want to transfer to memory card.

Not possible only thing to do is to swap your internal memory for sd ext.
Need root for that and mod to swap.
It will make your sd card internal memory 64 gb and your internal 16 gb will beed read like external music pictures ect.
Why there is no way to move or install apps on SD?
Most of phone have this simple thing...!!!
Could it be from Jelly Bean?
Any ideas or how to solve it?
We need a solution other than Sapping or rooting
For those large game files. (although I have yet to see a 4 gb game..) you can use directory bind. You link a certain directory (in this case a game data folder in android/data) to make the game use your micro sd memory card. Hi, on this day I bought LG Optimus L9, it has Internal storage 4GB, for user is only 2GB. In settings this memory shows like internal memory, but in file maneger it shows like SD Card what is problem...my 32GB SDcard is located in SD Card/external_sd. Than games which needs additional data which are on SD Card, are downloaded to internal memory, and on external SD Card games doesn't see data, because path to this memory is SD Card/external_sd ....have you got any ideas how to solve it ? is any way how to create shortcut to folder of games data ?
You can use GL to SD

You need to root your phone if you haven't already.
Also you should know that at least my phone needs to be restarted after using it everytime i play something.
Maybe it works well on yours.
I'm running neatrom kitkat build , I was running out of space on 2gb app partition so i started moving all large apps by using " Move to SD" option in settings. To my surprise all the apps were moved from 2GB partition to internel sd (11.50GB) instead of my external SD card. WTF? I've around 6GB+ of free space on my external sd card so what's the damn problem?
What's the point of inserting micro sd card when you're unable to move your crap on it. Funny thing is that Android wants you insert micro sd card to move your apps to "Internal sd card"
Any solution?

This is not a bug, but it is more of a feature of android. The reason why apps are not moved to external sd card is because it will take longer to load your apps, especially on boot. Also, there will be a much higher chance that you will find that your apps are missing as android is unable to load all of your apps fast enough.
I have a Moto E 2014 (condor) in which I installed Lineage 14.1 a while back. I want to use my SD card as internal memory. However:
1. If I migrate data from internal to SD card, the apps on the SD card doesn't work at all. There would be no point doing so.
2. If I don't migrate data from internal to SD card, the apps installed on external will work very well, but I cannot access the SD card in any way. Even if I have 16 GB memory card, only the 2.2 GB internal card is accessible in file explorers and when connecting to PC.
3. If I use the SD card as a portable device, all apps will be installed only in internal, so there wont be enough space for all apps.
4. I wanted to use Link2sd as before, but no matter how many times I partition the card, Link2sd won't recognize it.
Please help me.

I only wanted to be a bit more specific on this issue. It's the one thing that's buggy, otherwise this OS is perfect.

after migrating the data from internal storage to adopted sd card, move apps manualy from external storage to internal storage, somo apps are too buggy on this device, because the sd card reader doesn´t have too much speed of read and write

Then there would be no point in using external as internal storage. The very reason I want to do so is to install apps in external. About speed, it worked fine with Link2SD before, so pretty sure it's the OS that is bugged.
