Don't install apk. Just copy to /system/app and set permision to 644. It should work
you should also reboot to the phone after copying to make it appeared.

Hi everyone!
I'm using the Swiftdroid rom on my device and i am wondering if it's possible for anyone to port the xperia x8/x10 keyboard to our device?
Thanks!
From Xperia X8 gingerbread rom ?
Unpack this rom by unyaffs-windows and from system/app copy *IME.apk file to your system/app and set rw-r-r premissions by root explorer
Sorry for my english
Is that the blue/gray original x8 keyboard? :-o
Because that's the one i want
can this keyboard really be ported?

1)look in my signature and download Root Toolbox
2)if your running a custom rom go to step 4(if u don't know what I'm on about go to step 3)
3)go to advanced menu to root your device with z4root. Reroot if already rooted(download it and install as a normal app)
4)go to other menu
5)click download recovery
6)click flash recovery(will take a few seconds)
7)go to reboot menu and reboot to recovery
At this point I would suggest you backup
And it realty doesn't get much easyer then that.

Download this www.4shared.com/android/FTBFZ7cO/SignedSettings_DXLC1.html and rename it to settings.apk then replace this with stock settings.apk by root explorer and change the permission to w-w-w-r it is more smart then stock. Just forget about you lost odex file.

I Decided to carry the CM9 ICS to Jelly bean transitions, transitions are smooth and pleasing, leave the system more fluid.
Installation
1. Download the mod at the link below
2. Put on your Sd Card
3. Restart your device in CWM
4. Make a backup of your rom
5. Select "install zip from sd card"
6. Select the Mod in your Sd Card
7. Restart the system
Attention
* If you put the transitions that I behaved in your rom, give my due credit!
Download

works perfect, thank you

Ask google and search for porting multywindows and have a look at s2, and tab 3 7' they have done it and have a tutorial about edit the smalli file. Give a try...

Stock files won't work on custom ROMs. For multiwindow, go to recents panel, long press on an app icon and choose add to split view.
