I have done a big error on my chinese phone z868 I put the wrong build.prop inthe system and now impossible to put the good file.
My phone is rooted but adb or android commander not in root and I can't use my phone in recovery the factory reset don't walk
What can I do? thanks

hi i have a problem with my arnova 7g3 do a factory reset get a android logo with an exclamation mark… now i can't install any app because it says that there isn't free space every time i turn it on wipes everything and get the tips screen i have been reading on how to restore the firmware on this fourm but cant get adb command prompt to work so could anyone please tell me how to fix my 7g3 what firmware dump to use and what programs i need to install to get the job done or point me to any guides that will explain step by step how to do it im a novice when it comes to tablets so need all the help i can get many thanks to anyone that can help i cant able to boot recovery mode also it has only on off switch

Unortunatedly, this is my first post and i will be asking for help rather than helping :/
So... my father came in a week ago with a chinese android phone that i cant tell what phone it is trying to replicate exactly.... thing is, no matter how much i look for this phone i cant find anything about it, i already searched a lot on how to fix this proble but to no avail...
I can give more details if you need them), but basically this is my problem:
I got a chinese phone that runs on 4.2.2, and after working a lot, i managed to install supersu via framaroot(superuser would not work properly).
Thing is, being the inpatient person i am, before backing up anything, or installing a recovery rom or any costum rom, i decided to check some apps that required root.
I downloaded the app anim mod *root* because i thought it was a good idea to change the animations of my phone
HERES THE PROBLEM i used this app and i could see how it was changing things in my system files, it then asked for a reboot, and now it wont get past the boot animation and it freeses right there, i can enter factory mode(which is in chinese and i did look up for a translation) and recovery mode:
In both modes i was able to reset the phone but the problem is still there, ive literally have been searching whole days now and i am quite frustrated.
My question: what should i do to fix this? i have root but no recovery rom , so is there a way i can install a costunm rom just to try?
If the case is that i changed a system file (animations) how can i change them through my pc? does a reset from the stock recovery reset the system files aswell?
I am new to this, but i am willing to learn and try everything that could fix this.
If anyone wants to help, you can ask me whatever you want, i can upload pictures if you want to help me identify it or the specs i managed to get from factory mode.

hi guys, ive soft rooted my galaxy ace 4, I thn downloaded rom toolbox lite then found a cool button that said pixel density then I put tht up to max thinking it would be a good idea but now I cant get into my phone and would like to either factory reset or just change that setting back somehow, I'm a somewhat noob with basic root and device knowledge so please excuse me if I do not comprehend, my device powers on fine and everthing its when it fully on that I get a notification saying, "unfortunately com.android.systemui has stopped, and my resolution is way too big, is there an easy way to factory reset even though I cant get into the phone to change setting, it connects to my pc but adb says the device is unauthorized see dialog box, so I'm out of ideas, if someone can help before 11th august (I'm going on holiday) then that would be amazing!

btw I don't have twrp or cwm cuz I didn't install them I'm dumb ik,
also if there is a way to factory reset easily from pc or anything, like if I hold the power and volume it should put me in bootloader but it says warning installing a custom rom could be dangerous don't remove target.

You can install twrp or cwm with odin and from there do a Factory Reset. I don't have the files. But you can search them.

Hi i am on Galaxy Grand Prime rooted,
i have 0 knowledges about android but i did something terrible.. i felt that there was a virus in my phone( there was "Firewall security" pop up every x minute.. ) so i have scanned my phone with 360 security and i was right .. as i remember it was an apk file and the location was /system/priv-app/... my phone was rooted so i deleted with a root explorer the priv-app folder!!! everything stopped and now my phone cant boot (it stuck on the samsung logo) i can enter the recovery mode but i don't know what should i do.
i don't know anything about odin/flash etc.. so please explain to me from scratch or refer me a link based on this situation what i have to do should i factory reset from the recovery? will it work? Thanks

I badly need help, I have a rooted O+ 8.38z and accidentally deleted "linker" in system/bin and when I turned off my device, it shows system recovery.
I tried wiping data and factory reset but it doesn't fix the problem, tried pulling off the battery and insert it again ,, doesn't work also. And then one time I use minimal adb and fastboot ,, though it detects my device , I can't use adb shell (error closed). I'm on my way losing hope.
My device OS is 5.0 lollipop, and by the way, I still have the back up for the "linker" in system/bin ,, I renamed it to linker.old .

Flashing the stock firmware will help, but as of now im still searching for firmware downloads.. help me find firmware and flash tools
