[Q] Hard Bricked - Kogan Agora HD HELP!!! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I Recently Rooted my Kogan agora HD and the phone was fine for a few weeks, but yesterday in the after noon just as i tapped on an app e.g. temple run. my phone crashed. I've tried all the normal things but the phone is almost not responding to anything. the phone is exactly the same as the micromax a116. Boot mode, doesn't work so i believe it is completely hard bricked.

Are you able to enter recovery mode?
A few days ago, my rooted Samsung S2 running NeatROM crashed and was stuck in a bootloop - for no apparent reason (it was rooted ages ago.. I still don't know what caused the crash).
In the end, I was able to enter recovery mode and by wiping the cache+dalvik and flashing the same ROM I had already been using, I was able to boot back into my phone. If flashing & wiping doesn't work, you might have to do a factory reset and flash the ROM again.

Sadly no...

I Have Tried Boot/recovery Mode but sadly it dosent work, The only way I can Kind of access the phone is by using a Micromax Canvas A116 Flash Program. I pull out the batterie and the computer recognises the phone (but i cant see the files) And I can push files onto the phone.
I dont think the phone is compleatly hardbricked But it is pretty close.
I'm thinking of buying a Micro usb Jack (I think its called that) but im not sure it will work on my phone.
Please Help
Thanks

[Q] Need help 'unbricking' my Karbonn A21

Hey guys,
First of all I hav to say that this is a gr8 forum... Though this is my first post, i hav been a Guest for a long time...
I recently brought a Karbonn A21... I rooted it using "droidiser micromax-a110-rooted-how-to-guide" because I just could not get the drivers to install properly by following any other guide... And then installed CWM-based Recovery using "droidextra install-clockworkmod-on-karbonn-a21"... And then finally attempted to install DarkBoid ROM by Santo_Rock... I did everything alright... My mistake was that i transferred the .zip file to the ext. sd card and not the internal one... :crying: and then like a smart ass i went ahead wiping data and cache and all without taking backup (Yeah, I know, am a BONEHEAD... ). Now the phone goes into recovery mode and fastboot mode and even charges but gets stuck at the logo screen while booting normally... I looked around a bit for ideas to fix it but nothing seems to go properly... I would really appreciate some help... Any ideas or suggestions?
Regards,
AKS.
no. There is nothing better. U could do. Cuz there is no PC suite for karbonn. So better option is to take it to the service centre.

You formatted with "sp flash tool" ? FOrmat in what way, you mean you wiped your phone or what. And if I may ask, what was your intention for formatting or were you trying to flash the phone or what?

it was rooted by me and still i haven't changed anything expt rooting it and i downloaded android system tool apk which required root access i granted and i got into android system setting via that apk and by foolishness i started enabling all factory disabled setting since there are some that are disabled like phone encyrption and also enabled the setting which in tecno l3 does ordinary have so i remember i anabled too many l3 setting for me to see the effect of such so i finaly booted and the phone stayed in booloop i tried reseting it through recovery mode e3 but nothing hapened and restoring once backed up but all nothing and all regarding to wipe and clear user data i also did it and one thing remaining to do is to delete os and reinstall but i dont know to do it and i finaly decided to keep it until i take to the carlcare but i voided my walanty since i rooted and now i dont know what to if it is to through it away or waiting for a geek more than me to solve for my my problem but i guess your the one please i feel very hurt for my android is down and sleeping and sorry for exagerating

of course it wont boot. you just removed the OS without replacing with anything. I have access to the stock backup for your phone model, or do you have access to a working phone of the same model to backup from?

Micromax A121

Hi
I need your help. I was tinkering around with a Micromax 121/Cherry Mobile Omega Icon. Some how i tried to boot it to TWRP by using the Flashify , but somehow i got into a bootloop. Now its not booting up. I tried to clear all data and reset but it was not working as well. Tried to wipe data (this one i think i made a big mistake). and now its stuck on the logo. I can access the recovery mode but its seems that i'm dead end.
Any of you guys can give me any idea on how to fix this ??
PS : The USB is not working also so i cannot connect it to my computer. I'm trying to find a fix just by using a SD card.
Thanks
you solved the problem?? im in the similar situation and dont know what to do :'(

Phone won't boot after updating SuperSU

I need help immediately cause I am paniking. So I rooted my phone using the KingRoot application, and after the root was succesful used SuperSu-Me to remove KingRoot. SuperSu-Me installed SuperSU on my device which in turn had to install an update, so I let it do its thing. After the update was installed SuperSU prompted me to reboot my phone so i did. Problem is the phone has been stuck for about half an hour in the shifting shapes screen, fastboot doesn't work. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists.

My solution
I fixed it by unlocking the bootloader in fastboot mode, flashing TWRP and using it to flash the original version of the oxygen os, the one that came preloaded with the phone.

First, please don't follow instructions you're finding on this specific forum since it's for the OnePlus X, not the Starmobile. Secondly you needed to unlock your bootloader first, since you didn't from the sounds of it you can't boot into Android since it's now tampered. You'll need to boot into recovery, usually by pressing Power + Volume Down until it loads and factory reset your device.

Try to find out your solution in your device's forums, since this forums is for the OnePlus X and not the Starmobile Knight Luxe.
If your device is stuck on the bootup screen, you need to go to fastboot mode, unlock the bootloader (if you haven't), flash a custom recovery, boot into the recovery, and factory reset the device. It should work.
Guys!!! Thank you for all your suggestions. I did flash a custom recovery but it fails simultaneously. I just let it fix on a local phone repair shop just paid a few bucks
