By unlock you mean: Unlock it from AT&T, to use it with other carriers ie. T-mobile, simple mobile or to go overseas and use a different simcard?

Technically no, they are not the same. However if you did find a way to Sim unlock, it would work overseas too.
I'm guessing you're looking for a free way to Sim unlock your phone. And as far as I know there is none. However people have had success with Chainfire's
RegionUnlock. It may or may not work I can't say, I don't even have a usable sim card to test it for you. But you have to be ROOTED for it to work. I hope I helped.:good::fingers-crossed:

If you mean unlock on operator's network - this is not possible without key number.

From where you get this information?
If you want to be sure that you will not damage you phone you need to have an unlock code which is generated from the IMEI of your phone.
I've purchased the unlock code from here w3(dot)mobileunlocked(dot)co(dot)uk. It cost 11 euros but it worked without any problems.
Rezound Verizon- can it be used on different carrier?
No...at least not Sprint, Boost or Cricket.
do you own one? are they locked, or what is stopping to use it on a different network?
if you have one are you willing to test unlock code for me? tnx
The Rezound is a Verizon Exclusive, and yes,it is locked.

We have literally a team of developers working on unlocking the phone, you really think we are going to believe you just happened to stumble upon it?

if yes ill give u the code.
Post the code here or troll elsewhere.

I'll bite send me the code and I'll try it...
There are several ways to enter this "code" into the phone. But since we don't know what the code is, where you got it from, or your credibility, no one in their right mind is just going to "test" it.

If you are asking if you can use a GSM phone on Sprint's network, the answer is no.

The most reliable service. Just make sure you have enough counts to unlock.
In addition to the above poster's URL, there's also http://www.cellunlocker.net/sony-ericsson-unlock.php
I provided the AT&T link first because it's free to unlock. If AT&T gives you a hard time, I'd go with cellunlocker.

Know what? If it's reliable? Trust me I've done lots of them with these guys. Very reliable, very fast. Read reviews of them.
I'm not affiliated in any way. I'm just a happy customer. You can try any other.
Why after so many months, there are still no custom roms being made for this phone? Is it because of the second screen or because no one cares enough to do one?
Because of the locked bootloader
Only tmobile variant is unlockable
Very disappointing....

Can't you use the TMO variant with some random small-dollar plan for just a couple months, pay off the phone, then take it to Verizon unlocked?

AFAIK, Verizon checks MEID from their inventory table and won't allow activation if it is not in their inventory table.

Verizon would never activate it on their network anyways, so it doesn't matter. They whitelist IMEIs.

I figured being similar to the g4 we wouldn't have issues getting a rom from a dev. I read a post from someone saying they were able to get a g4 rom to flash on the v10.

My thoughts exactly
The lack of development for this phone is the main reason I wish I didn't get this phone.
It's interesting that there isn't much development on this phone considering its one that seems to appeal to power users with Microsd support, battery removal and the secondary screen.
Well, I would think someone would have to figure out root first since the tmobile version is the only one with root so far.
People seem to be trying but it's slow going!
