Keyboard with number row? - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

which apps have this feature? I know ai.type has it.
I downloaded the trial version of swfitkey, but that doesn't have it but was told it did.
Any other apps? Thanks

SwiftKey beta has a number row.

You have to enable the number row in SwiftKey it's not enabled by default

[Q] What keyboard are you using with your S4?

Just curious what keyboard everyone is using. The S4 is defaulted to the Samsung keyboard which uses SwiftKey, but the S4 also comes with Swype. Are you using one of those, or are you using another? Maybe the SwiftKey or Swype from the market to gain some more options? Another keyboard?
What are you using, and why do you prefer it?
I'm using SwiftKey from the market. The stock Samsung keyboard does not have auto correct which is not something I can deal with.

I'm using stock 4.2.2 keyboard because I like the Holo UI look.
Kii. It has the option for the top number row like the stock keyboard, but it has autocorrect. I own Swiftkey also, but I hate it.
I use swiftkey from the market although the stock keyboard is kinda nice with the number row on top
installed the AOSP 4.2.2 keyboard. got so use to it when i was on my nexus, why change..
Check out the Swype keyboard I modded for a dedicated number row:

i am using the google keyboard currently, but looking for something with a little better flow. the fact that the comma key isn't on the letter screen bothers me.
+1 SwiftKey.

I've been using swiftkey but the lag the keyboard creates drove me crazy. I'm now using the Google keyboard and I bounce to the kii keyboard every once in a while.

[Q] HyperDrive RLS 5.7 emoji keyboard

Hi! Awesome rom. In the rom description, it indicates that there is an emoji keyboard. How do I access this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Its where you select the keyboard. When you touch a spot to type and the little keyboard comes up in the left hand corner, slide down the notification bar and select it there.
Though for me I just use Kii keyboard its a lot easier and with the emoji keyboard baked in, it works out great

Emoji's not too easy to access. Thanks for the suggestion though. I was using Go SMS Pro with Emoji plugin, which was great, but then I would get duplicate messaging with the default messaging app. If I force stopped the default messaging app, I don't receive picture messaging. Looking for one good solution with easy to access emoji's.
Try Kii keyboard. That's what I'm using and it works well.

I did....emoji's too hard to navigate to. Thanks for the advice though!
Really just long pressing the 123 button and sliding to the smiley face? No problem though. I really like the keyboard bc you can add the numbers to the top row like stock. Just let us know what you find and what works for you

My keyboard keeps jumping back to the Google keyboard

I have Kii keyboard setup and I changed everything in the phone to that keyboard, but for some reason it keeps going back to the Google keyboard. Anybody have a solution for me?I really don't want to flash the ROM over again and not selected googles keyboard.

Where do the SMS emoticons come from?

I think in switching from viper to android revolution my emoticons all show in text format, eg . On the keyboard I can insert emoticons, but people who send them I can no longer see. Is using a third party app the only way to fix this? Or is there some mod I can install?

Keyboard

Does anyone prefer the stock key board or using SWIFT? (or some other)
Isn't SwiftKey the stock keyboard anyway?
I prefer the Gboard and I'm registered for the beta version

I really like ai.type keyboard but it uses more ram and battery so I stopped using it until they push an update that fixes these issues
