Can anyone create a mod to increase the headphone volume to 200%?
I am running RomAur and the mod that is included with it only increases it to 150% but it still sounds weak even when I use my over the ear headphones and adjust the equalizer.
Can anyone do this?

I don't know about volume mod but the way I increase headphone volume is that I bought a small amplifier so that dont have to mind about phone volume at all.
Can you provide a link?

Just Google it, Fiio x6, they are around $25, but it will only up the volume on the headphone output, phone speaker and bluetooth still the same.
You can't just keep increasing the headphone volume infinitely, there comes a point at which it cannot go any louder. If you have a hearing impairment then perhaps you should have made the phone volume a priority when you chose a handset. The HTC phones have a louder sound if that is what you need.

I found a solution from a member in the forums.
Solution:
Doom kernel + faux sound app.
This will make your phone sound like a HTC M8 both speakers and headphones
Volume can go as far as about 400%

Any way to increase volume....ita funny such a big phone yet so small of a volume.haha guessing we have to wait for cm9 or is there any mod we can do. The speaker is just so low. Watching netflix and youtube is an experience like no other....hearing it is a different story haha

It doesn't help any that the speaker is rear firing! I have a leather flip case on the phone so it's really bad
Lol a Bluetooth case would be awesome with a bigger speaker on it

+1 on equalizer, works on everything I've thrown it.
power amp is also the best, if you aren't using google or Amazon music clouds.

You can also use the app eRay Free or the paid version in the Android Market to fix the volume issue. Works very well...and a great task mgr app. This is for both in-call (headset) and external speaker volume fix.
Is it me or is the loudspeaker on the Note weak? I mean this is my third samsung phone, in all 3 phones the loudspeaker had to be turned all the way up to hear it enough. I had to sky rockets and 2 notes. When I'm using the speaker phone to talk to people it's very loud even at 50 percent. it's when I am listening to music or watch media I have to turn it all the way up to sound comfortable. I mean don't get me wrong, when it's a 50 percent you can still hear it but as far as the ringer is, It has to be turned all the way up to hear it completely. Even to listen to music at 50 percent,is really low especially when you're at work. This is my second Note, and they both sound exactly the same. Is this normal?

Anything lower than 50% you can barely hear it.. Sucks...

Hi mates, I found an app to boost my music volume.
Is it safe to boost our phones max limit volume? If yes, why did Samsung did not include this feature by deafult in the default music player?
what is the name of app ?? where can we download it ??
I found this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost#?t=W10. Don't know if it's safe to use.. But the comments are good for Galaxy S3
Because they want to protect your eardrums.. Anyways long term high volume output may damage your speakers..
You have been zooo==>ted

In my opinion boosting volume is safe. I'm using Beats Audio app and Poweramp with the pre-amp up full and it's fine.
Having said that I rarely use the loudspeaker on the phone cos despite being loud enough the sound and clarity mostly sucks (as with all phones).

Sucks 10000% worse with beats audio.
Don't talk about "clarity" in the same context as that POS - displays ignorance.
Define "clarity", and how said POS improves it.

Each to their own my angry little nemesis.
Clarity as in, ya know, clear by the way. Through my lovely ears anyway.

Thanks for the reply guys.... So to summarize this app is safe to use if we will use it with large headsets and unsafe if we will use it with the phone speaker..
So I just need to activate this if I will use my sennheiser px-200 II :good:
My Atrix's speaker has low sound output (like almost 50% of the volume of my Motorola Defy). I even installed CM7 rom to try with the DSP Manager but all in vain. Is there any way I can get the volume noticeable (if its ringing in the other room, I can hardly hear the ringtone)? or does the atrix comes factory shipped with such low-volume speaker?
Earphone is fine.
Check if you've checked low volume option

Where exactly can I set that option ?
Does anyone know of a App that allows you to Customize the Volume Levels of MP3's and then Save them to the SDCARD with the New Adjustments?
If so please let me know...
Thanks!

I think you don't need to do that you can bring your music back to life using this ViPER4Android Audio Effects. It's best sound effect software ever created for Andoid, with the right settings it make your music loud and clear with superb bass and tremble. Just try it yourself here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
